SOUL STIRRING SONGS 2

Coming to the path of the Siddhas, each guru or establishment advocated that we recite the names of the Siddhas, listed and compiled as the Siddhar Potri Thoguppu together with several other songs in praise of the Siddhas. We too began to recite and sing these songs during our daily home puja.

After getting us to perform his puja and sing the praise of the Siddhas, Agathiyar came to reveal to us the many benefits of performing these pujas through his Nadi reading.

Soon Agathiyar blessed me with an opportunity to sing the Siddhas praise with my family at the Kallar Ashram on our trip to India in 2013.

Apart from the family and friends conducting and participating in Agathiyar's puja we were blessed to have spiritual dignitaries grace our homes and join us in prayers. Tavayogi and Mataji during their short visit to Malaysia in 2016, accompanied Agathiyar in the form of the bronze statue at AVM to all the homes of his devotees who invited him into their homes and hosted a puja for him.

We were blessed to have Agathiyar grace the puja and address us through the Jeeva Nadi in the possession of Tavayogi.

We were truly grateful and felt blessed when Tavayogi invited us to sing together with him and Mataji the praises of Agathiyar and the Siddhas during Agathiyar's Jayanthi celebrations at Kallar ashram.

We were blessed to have Tavathiru Kumara Sivakattu Swamigal of the Sri Agathiyar Ashramam, Anuvavi, Coimbatore. grace our home too.

Gaining confidence in singing on our home ground and having being given exposure at Kallar ashram and several temples locally, we sang the praises of the Siddhas wherever we went, on our pilgrimage of temples in India and the caves and holy spots of the Siddhas too.

With the blessings of Agathiyar and Tavayogi we teamed up with Gowri Arumugam of Raagawave Production to produce an album for Agathiyar, "Agathiyar Geetham"

Soon we had Gowri Arumugam participate in our puja and present many soulful songs together with Jegan, Vinthamaray, Praba, Vimala, and others.

The encouraging participation of devotees coming forward to sing during puja, mooted us to have an event Nachathira Maalai.

Agathiyar had asked each of his devotees who drop by to pay homage to him at AVM to sing in his presence recently. Since then his devotees and children have begun to sing songs of praise to Erai and the Siddhas. He says it was a means of focusing on the tasks on hand and eventually gaining concentration. Even the rituals were an aid to bring us into focusing and concentrate. These were tools and aids for us to take the next step and move into meditation.
