Calling me to the worship of the Siddhas in my very first Nadi reading in 2002, having Nadi reader Senthilkumar carry out the ritual Naadikku Dhanam, and being initiated into the puja immediately, I returned home with a painting of Agathiyar and a booklet containing the names of the Siddhas. I began my home puja to the Siddhas that same day. I only came to know the reason for the calling in my 38th Nadi reading on 12.7.2010. Agathiyar, in asking that I spread his teachings through all available means and mediums, spoke about the prayers conducted at my home and their benefits. He revealed an extensive list of benefits attained from performing and conducting prayers. He revealed why he asked me to carry them out. Below are the benefits as Agathiyar revealed in the Nadi:
Many in this world utter my name (Agathiyar),
Prayers done truthfully (to Sidhas) shall gain many benefits,
Prayers shall bring much joy,
Prayers done moderately but splendidly and honestly shall help protect the world,
Prayers done with fellow devotees will bring many benefits,
Many shall rise in stature and power,
Prayers will lead to a state of bliss,
Prayers done on full moon days shall strengthen the Jothi within,
Prayers will help remove doubts,
Through prayers, one shall attain godhead,
Strength, grace, and wealth shall be gained,
Stay on this path of devotion, and family bond shall be strengthened,
All that is asked for shall be gained,
Prayers shall lead to meditation and charitable thoughts,
All ills shall be removed,
God shall listen to prayers,
Idiots shall become geniuses,
The benefits attained from prayers are indescribable, for many changes shall take place.
Calling Balachandran to come over to my home to watch and participate in my Pornami puja after his Nadi reading, the latter convinced his youthful and spirited friends from Thondu Seivom to tag along. I soon came to know the reason. We then teamed up with Pothihai Dharma Chakram and carried out charity too. Agathiyar Vanam Malaysia (AVM) took shape.
Calling me over to Agastiyampalli in 2005, in the Nadi reading, Agathiyar promised to open his eyes to look at me. With his grace and the touch of Tavayogi's shawl, he surely did open his eyes; surprisingly, only his left eye. I soon came to know the reason. He was to come into my home in this image later in 2010.
In one of the many revelations during meditation, Agathiyar reveals the origin of his very first temple, built by King Kuberan at the start of the present yuga, to Dr. V. N. Jayapalan of the Agathiyar Mei Gnana Sabai, Sri Agathiyar Universal Trust, Bangalore. This Agathiyar temple still stands at Agasthiyampalli, Vedharanyam. The temple came to be built as an act of appreciation and gratitude to Agathiyar by Kuberan, who was ruling his kingdom fine till famine hit his land. When Kuberan too had exhausted his stock of food grains and was having tremendous hunger pangs that no amount of food could satisfy, something that a stranger had predicted would happen when he knocked on the door to the King's palace much earlier, he turned towards the stranger, who was then serving morsels of food to all of Kuberan's subjects from a shed he built on the fringes of the kingdom. The stranger happened to be worshiping Agathiyar.
Calling me to have his bronze statue made exclusively in Swamimalai, using the age-old tradition of the lost-wax method, and telling me that he was going over to the Sri Raghavendra Swamigal Mritiga Brindavanam that my brother-in-law was in the midst of building, I soon came to know the reason why he opted to stay put in my home.
A wax model of the image is made first, from a compound of pure beeswax, tree resin (kungiliyam), and groundnut oil. The mud from the Kaveri River is used to make the clay moulding that covers the wax models: an inner layer of alluvial soil from the Kaveri River bed mixed with charred rice husk and cowdung; a secondary layer of paddy field clay and sand; and a coarse outer coat of sand and clay, before the mould is heated over a fire to melt. The molten metal, Panchaloha, comprising gold, silver, copper, zinc, and lead, is then poured into the cavity and crevices of the wax core, once the wax drains. Once the metal solidifies, the clay shell is broken away, and the raw casting is hand-chiseled, filed, and polished.

Rightmantra Sundar, in his blog, writes that clay or mud from the riverbanks of Kaveri used by bronze statue creators at Swamimalai is most suitable for making the molds, as it captures even the most minute details, revealing even thumbprints!
Then Agathiyar explained why he wanted his image made in Swamimalai through Jnana Jyothiamma's Jeeva Nadi reading. Agathiyar revealed that it was the wish of Lord Muruga, Lobha Ma, and Agathiyar himself that he should be made at Swamimalai. He enlightened us on the significance of Swamimalai and the Kaveri River and the reason for Agathiyar to be made in Swamimalai. Agathiyar explained that it was Lobha Ma's wish that his statues be made on the banks of Kaveri (Swamimalai in Tanjai), and with Swamimalai Muruga's blessings would reach places all over the world. We learn from this Nadi reading that although Agathiyar's image has been depicted in many forms over time, he would eventually be identified as this image from Swamimalai and be worshipped the world over. We learn that Lord Muruga himself has conceived this image and blessed each statue made here. Agathiyar revealed further in the Jeeva Nadi that many miracles would be shown through these statues of Agathiyar. These statues would become "alive". All these would take place with Lord Muruga's blessings.
Calling Jnana Jyothiamma over, in October of 2013, Agathiyar most graciously opened his eyes to see her too and bless all those present during the ritual of carrying out libation or Abhisegam, at AVM, during Jnana Jyothiamma's stay in Malaysia. Agathiyar later acknowledged this, and many other miracles had taken place in Jnana Jyothiamma's presence.
True enough, after Agathiyar arrived at my home on 2 January 2010, Varadharaj told me he had ten orders that came in from Malaysia. Recently, Sanjiv from Delhi shared a photo of Agathiyar in his home, made by Varadharaj, while another friend shared a similar statue in a devotee's home.
On the day of his arrival, 2 January 2010, after he touched the ground at 11am, I was called for a Nadi reading at 12 noon. Agathiyar told me that, as Varadaraj of Bronze Creative, Swamimalai, had given him form or Uru, having made him a replica of his statue at Agasthiyampalli, now I had to give life to an otherwise inert object by chanting his name some 100,000 times, where he would come into the statue. I would have to bathe him in nine items too. He led me on a secret too: that he would momentarily enter my body and would walk the ground and bless those who came to receive him, while my soul would reside in his idol. I soon came to know the reason he came.
Calling strangers over to my home and asking me to step aside, Agathiyar began to assist them in many ways. He began using me and my home for his Lilas and play. Lord Muruga asked my family and me to step aside during a Nadi reading in 2018 and later opened the gates to heaven and brought the Gods down.
Calling me for a Nadi reading on 21.2.2026, my latest, Agathiyar said that Lord Siva had come into my home and played his Lila during the last Sivarathri.
Calling me to carry out the Homam, which I initially wasn't comfortable doing as I thought it was the work of the priestly kind, Tavayogi shrugged it off, saying it was pretty simple and had me do it. Later, he asked that I do it to coincide with his Annual Festival for Agathiyar, which he carried out on his Ashram grounds. If his initial reason was to cool Mother Earth's wrath when she swallowed several places during the tsunami of 2004, Agathiyar also told me that it was for the good of all. At the height of the pandemic, Lord Siva, who asked Mahindren to take notes, asked us to conduct it to help revitalize the ailing Prapanjam. Soon after seeing a revival of the virus, Prapanjam herself, coming through a devotee, asked us to continue carrying out the Homam. Tavayogi soon included prayers for the well-being of all and had devotees carry out the Homam personally by preparing individual fire pits on the grounds of his ashram. Mataji has carried this further by praying for all. Agathiyar, coming through a devotee, acknowledged this ritual as a means to burn individual Karma.
In asking me to build him a temple and later one for Lord Muruga, they ended up testing me and instead proclaimed that my home was a temple.
In asking me to wind up AVM, he taught me detachment from a following that was soon to begin.
In asking me to send him away to another devotee's home, which I readily did, Agathiyar came back accompanied by Lobama, whom the devotee had bought a statue of from the shelf to keep Agathiyar company while at his home.
In asking me to even let go of him, he brought me from Dvaita to Advaita, asking me, how else could we be one?
