THE JOURNEY THROUGH THE LENS

When a psychologist who kept up with my writings and wanted to meet me, knowing that I would be at a temple puja, walked up to me, his first question to me was whether I was hallucinating, referring to the conversations with Agathiyar that I carried in the blog. Since he has followed my journey through reading the blog, I told him to travel with Agathiyar and find out for himself.

Agathiyar first came to me through the Nadi, where he addressed me first.

Taking up the call to come to his worship, we began our home puja. Soon, many whom Agathiyar sent over after their Nadi reading joined us to watch and participate in the puja. Our home took the name Agathiyar Vanam Malaysia (AVM). When many seem to use the many modes of media as a tool to advise, teach, and preach these days, there were no discourses given at AVM; no practice to follow; no teachings to adhere to; no rules and regulations, and no 5-year plans to execute at AVM. Those who came saw the Puja and left. They had the option to follow and carry them out in their homes.

We then brought this puja into the homes of devotees who invited Agathiyar over.

Then we brought the puja into the temples too where the temple committees appreciated the drive.

Then Agathiyar had us carry out charity.

Whenever we gathered, it was always fun time as we engaged in bhajans and satsangs.

Rather than conducting puja each time at AVM, both Tavayogi and Agathiyar preferred to give the tools, method, and ways so that each individual could take it up with their family. We were reminded to sow the seeds and not worry if they germinated; neither were we to water them, fertilize them, or care for them.

Then it was time to shift the worship to the kids at AVM. My 5-year-old grandson would ask for the well-being of god too, in prayer. Nobody taught him this. Today he anointed the figurine of Lord Ganesha when my daughter told him that it was Lord Ganapathy's birthday.

In the wake of the pandemic, when the Nadi readers packed their bags and left for India, the Siddhas began to speak to us through the devotees. After coming as Mother or Mata, Father or Pita, and Teacher or Guru, now God or Deivam has come to teach us.

Then it all ended. Just as children build and destroy their creation countless times until they get it right while playing, Agathiyar had us build and destroy the empire he had us create. Just as the Buddhist monks create mandalas only to destroy them later, as a lesson in detachment, so did we drop the tasks given, for a soul that holds on to its belongings and way of life here in this life has to come back. So too, when aspirations are not fulfilled, when death comes to him, he comes back. When a deal is made on the soul level, he comes back too. When someone wishes for him to come back, the soul takes rebirth. These are the countless possibilities of taking birth. So is it that one comes to enjoy the pleasures of life and another suffers. Neither existing conditions nor help can bring relief to those who have to face the full brunt of their past actions. What is seen to be pretty unfair to our eyes and understanding is justice meted out by divine laws.

A man with faith would leave it to God; it is those who have not surrendered who make a deal with him, giving something in return, thinking it is Bhakti. True Bhakti is something that binds souls and has nothing to do with the body. It is pointless to offer his own creation the body, to him as a gift.

I guess I had fulfilled my role and purpose as a Spiritual Catalyst, as revealed in a reading of the "Spiritual Numerology of Moses," or better known as the "Soul Contract Reading".

As Teal Swan says in an article at https://tealswan.com/resource, a Spiritual Catalyst "precipitates, triggering, sparking, bringing on a major change abruptly, or initiating an event to cause it to happen suddenly, unexpectedly, or sooner than anticipated."

Spiritual Catalysts do not aim to become leaders to their disciples as much as they wish to cause their disciples to question and find answers within themselves.

I guess he is like the monsoon that comes and goes. He does not have a following nor an Ashram or temple where people converge till the end. I think I fit into these shoes perfectly. Many have likened me to a beacon that gives out light to make others aware of the rocks and dangers out at sea, as "in a lighthouse or other signal for guiding ships, and as a radio transmitter emitting signals to guide aircraft, or a signal fire commonly on a hill, tower, or pole, or a source of light or inspiration to others.

Having fulfilled my role, Agathiyar dismantled the building, removing the shade that AVM provided, and had his devotees build their own. I had my own journey to pursue then. I am glad that it all turned out the way it did. I have no regrets.

When each individual who takes up the worship of Agathiyar is given a purpose, ranging from conducting Siddha puja in their homes or in the homes of others, start a centre or peedham, preparing and dispensing Siddha medicine, giving Varma treatment, doing energy healing, or teaching the arts and sciences of the Siddhas, I was given the task of writing this blog; writing as and when he gives me the subject and matter.

And it all began at Kallar Ashram with Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal. I am grateful to him.
