ON PRAYERS & MEDITATION

Master Uvaraj was inspired to write the following by Agathiyar. He shares it with readers of Siddha Heartbeat.
Since we are on the subject of Prayers I would like to share some important info on prayers as shared by spiritual teachers and siddhas. Most of us pray or meditate daily. During these prayers and meditation we are actually gathering very high concentration of divine particles called prana into our selves and also from our surroundings. Most people are not aware that these prana energy can be used for certain sankalpa or intentions or even healing or blessings of others. If these energies are not used than over time the energies will dissipate by itself.

Some of the things we can do to use these gathered pranic energies for our daily use are as follows:

Activation
1. After completing each prayers or meditation simply take both the palms and place it either on your heart or on your face. Let the pranic energic dwell into these areas and activate either the Heart Chakra or Ajna Third Eye Chakra. Keep doing this until you feel satisfied or thru inner knowing that you have done your part and that the process is complete.

Empowerment
2. Before any prayers or meditation keep a glass of water in front of you. During Prayers, Pooja and meditation sessions gathers high levels of pranic energies into oneself and the surroundings and it will infuse the water as well. Water being a perfect energy conductor and intentions will store these pranic energies in its purest form. After completing each prayers or meditation simply take the glass of water into your hands and bless it with intention and drink it and share with others as well. We call this as Thirtha as practiced in temples.

Divine Solutions
3. After completing each prayers or meditation just be in the state and do not open your eyes. Think of a personal problem or a global problem or even health issues that maybe bothering you. Visualize these problems in the form of energy ball or circle in front of you. Place both your hands on the sides of this visualized energy ball while intending and sending divine healing or solutions into this ball. Keep doing this until you feel satisfied or thru inner knowing that you have done your part. You can also visualize or feel that the energy ball being dense and heavy prior and once it has been treated with pranic healing it becoming light and bright. Release and dissipate the energy ball upwards and place your hands on your heart and say to the Supreme Source - As You Will It and So Be It! Or in tamil say - Eraiva Un Arullal Ellam Subham Jeyam Labham!

Blessings
4. After completing each prayers or meditation just be in the state and do not open your eyes. Visualize a person or situation or our earth. Place both your hands in front of the visualized subject while intending and sending divine healing or blessings. Keep doing this until you feel satisfied or thru inner knowing that you have done your part. Release and dissipate the energy ball upwards and place your hands on your heart and say to the Supreme Source - As You Will It and So Be It! Or in Tamil say - Eraiva Un Arullal Ellam Subham Jeyam Labham!

Please try this daily and you shall see some positive difference in your lives, family and home.

5. After completing each prayers or meditation just be in the state and do not open your eyes. Simply take any personal crystals, lucky stones, rudrakshas, yantras or amulets into your hands and charge it with intention of empowerment. This will amplify the nature or power of the item. Keep doing this until you feel satisfied or thru inner knowing that you have done your part. Place your hands on your heart and say to the Supreme Source - As You Will It and So Be It! Or in Tamil say - Eraiva Un Arullal Ellam Subham Jeyam Labham

Meditation - A Self Retreat

Most people tend to misinterpret the meaning or the reasoning of Meditation. Most believe that Meditation is series of techniques that they need to do and some others believe it's hard to achieve.

Meditation is neither a technique or a method. Meditation in essence is a State of Being. Its connecting to the Inner Self. Its where one connects to their Absolute core of their being that represents the divine source.

To Meditate we don't need to do anything special. We simply need to take a break away from our External state and move into our Internal state. Meditation is simply taking a Retreat Within. Meditation is Inner Journey.

In Meditation one simply closes the External eyes and work on opening one's Inner Eyes. The seeing within is what triggers the Inner Journey. Simple be An Intense Observer of whatever that is happening within you.
Do not get involved in what's happening. Simply let go of all judgement and the need to analyze. Be an Observer.

Maharishi Agasthia has mentioned in the Nadi Leaf once that one should meditate daily whenever possible. For spiritual progress as per the Siddha path, Agasthia encouraged everyone to meditate for at least 24 minutes (or called one Nalli) at any one time. According to Maharishi the first 20 minutes of meditation is to prepare the Mind, Body and Spirit for the last 4 minutes of Cosmic absorption.

To Meditate one just needs to sit, stand or lay down comfortably and close one's eyes and release all tension within one's body. A simple physical exercise or Surya Namaskar is encourage to induce this state of relaxation prior to any meditation.

Just focus on the in and out breath. After some minutes of breath work you will be in a state of total relaxation. Now let go of all thoughts, wants, needs, judgements, questions etc. Observe everything without getting involved in the process. Simply Immerse yourself in the inner most of your Being. Stay there as long as you comfortably can.

When you are ready to end the meditation, bring your focus to the breath for few more minutes. When you are ready, bring your both palms into your heart area and set a specific intentions that you want to achieve in this meditation and set it into your heart and let it go. Keep doing this until you feel satisfied or thru inner knowing that you have done your part and that the process is complete.

One can also state this to oneself - 'As I Am and So Be It.'
