MESSENGERS OF AGATHIYAR

A couple of days ago Kalyanakumar Veerapandiyan had posted a beautiful revelation from the Gnanaskandar Nadi in his blog AGATHIYAR at http://xn--vkc6a6ba9cg7h0ee.com/ .

In the revelation in the Gnanaskandar Nadi, Kallar Ashram, Lord Murugan, Agathiyar, the 7kg Rudraksham, the Jeeva Nadi and Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal was mentioned. Tavayogi is mentioned /identified as a Munivar who resides at an ashram at Kallar. The devotee of Lord Murugan who read the Gnanaskandar Nadi in Anthiyur was asked to go over to Kallar and obtain the blessings of Tavayogi.

I managed to chat with Kalyanakumar later and he filled me with the rests of the information. Kalyanakumar used to travel from Chennai to Kallar to participate in the Pournami Puja or Full Moon celebrations.

Recently when Kalyanakumar was there, a devotee of Lord Murugan dropped in. He revealed to Kalyanakumar and Sellapan (an aid and disciple of Tavayogi) that he had seen the Gnana Skanda Nadi at Anthiyur in Kovai. He most graciously passed on the recording to Kalyanakumar, which Kalyanakumar posted on his blog. In his own words, "One of the Lord Murugar devotee visited our Kallar ashramam that day, Thavayogi was not in ashramam. While talking with them, I got this naadi reading. Mr.Chellapa is having the information about naadi reader. Naadi was read at Anthiyur, Coimbatore."

Recently I had a chat with Sathish Kumar from Tirunelveli (currently residing in Chennai) who had forwarded the amazing photo of Agathiyar opening his eyes and giving Darshan (to devotees at Agathiyar Vanam in Malaysia) to Velayutham Karthikeyan, the administrator of SITHTHAN ARUL, who posted it on his blog at http://siththanarul.blogspot.com/2014/02/blog-post_21.html. Sathish has been blessed to have the Jeeva Nadi read at Kallar.

Velayutham Karthikeyan has been faithfully posting revelations from Agathiyar's Jeeva Nadi revealed to the Jeeva Nadi Guru in Chennai.

Surendaran Selvaratnam of Malaysia who frequents Kallar Ashram took Bala Chandran along to participate in the Annual Jayanthi and Guru Puja for Agathiyar last December. Both of them have contributed immensely towards promoting this path or margam. Suren too has been blessed to have the Jeeva Nadi read at Kallar. Both Suren and Bala have been following Agathiyar through the numerous Nadi readings by Nadi Guru Ramesh in Malaysia.

In today's post at http://siththanarul.blogspot.com/, Karthikeyan has posted a beautiful sketch of Thava Murugar as he is seen in Kallar, drawn by Bala Chandran.

Nadi Guru Ramesh has been reading from the Kaanda Nadi, thus showing and guiding thousands who come seeking the Nadi in Malaysia. He was shown to me by Tavayogi when he (Tavayogi ) was in Malaysia in 2005. Since then till now I have been guided by Agathiyar through the Nadi.

Dr Ram Supramaniam and Mathivanan of Tirunelveli (currently residing in Chennai) had faithfully followed Jnana Jyothi Amma and snapped photos of all the miracles that took place and was shown by Agathiyar. Dr Ram is providing his services treating devotees at Kallar during Full Moon days, sharing his expertise and knowledge on Siddha medicines.

Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal started the Sri Agathiyar Gnana Peedham 12 years back at Kallar on the instruction of Agathiyar with the sole purpose of promoting the Siddha path.

Later he journeyed to Malaysia and the neighboring countries spreading the words of the Siddhas. Tavayogi brought the Siddhas to the attention of the masses by being a patron of the 1st and 2nd World Conference of Siddha Principles held in Malaysia and Chennai respectively.

In my Nadi reading Agathiyar has mentioned Tavayogi numerous times. Agathiyar had referred him as Kallar Sidhan. As Jnana Jyothi Amma mentions in her comments on my blog,

I often used to wonder as to why Agathiyan brought me all the way from the United States and Initiated (Dheeksha) me in Kallar.

Eventually I was able to understand and NOW I understand very well....

I thank you Immensely from the bottom of my heart My dear Friend, for having Posted your Experiences with Subramnia Swamy and Tavayogi and the Siddhas .... thereby a HUGE CHAIN GOT ESTABLISHED WITH THE BLESSINGS OF OUR DAD.. AGATHIYAN....

It makes me happy when I realize there is a wonderful networking here where disciples of Agathiyar come together to contribute/ post /share stories on Agathiyar and Siddhas through various mediums.

Yes call it a chain or a network, it brings joy to see so many come together to promote Agathiyar and the Siddhas, each in his/her individual ways and through the myriad of talents possessed.

PERFORMING PARIKAARAM

When I saw the Kaanda Nadi the very first time I too was told about performing atonement or Parikaaram. I did all that was expected of me faithfully and with full devotion. I did not question the Nadi. I took it as the word of God.

Along the way I had introduced and promoted the Nadi to many. Many came to read the Nadi seeking answers while there were those who came out of curiosity and some came to know how accurately the Nadi could reveal about a person. Most came back with positive feedback and were keen to carry out the atonement. Some questioned the Nadi reading, and were skeptical about what was related in the Nadi. Many forgot/ignored what was told to them but instead chose to investigate the authenticity of the reading and the reader. Some went off after the reading claiming that it was all an hoax.

All is well until the Karma Kaanda is read and the ugly truth of one's past birth and doings is revealed. Then when the Siddhas reveal ways to overcome these karmas by way of performing atonement all hell breaks lose. The reader becomes a victim then when the Nadi is ridiculed and the reader is called a bogus Nadi Guru.

I feel sad for them. I in fact wonder why they came for the reading in the first place, only to ridicule the reader and the Nadi for their shortfalls and bitterness.

Agathiyar has conveyed the message through Sashikant Oak's Nadi reading by Nadi Guru Ganesan of Tanjore regarding as to why whatever was mentioned in the readings of some does not materialize or appears to be false. Agathiyar says if someone was conned into loosing their money to a Nadi reader it was because Agathiyar was removing his karma. Watch this video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCENLrMcT7Q

I know of 3 devotees of Agathiyar, best friends among them, in who's heart had suddenly crept an inch of doubt about Nadi Guru Ramesh and his Nadi readings. They traveled to India to investigate Nadi Guru Ramesh, silently. On returning back to Malaysia, they read the Nadi but with another person. Agathiyar surprised them when he lashed them on their venture to investigate the authenticity of the Nadi and its reader, saying it was not necessary. Agathiyar told them sternly that the Nadi was true.

I too was told in one of my numerous Nadi readings with Nadi Guru Ramesh not to ridicule the Nadi and it was all true.

We are blessed indeed that the Siddhas have chose to look within and into our present and past to show us a way out of our problems and predicament. Nadi Guru Ramesh tells me it is important to know one's past karma and questions why present day saints and gurus do not touch on this subject in their talks. By knowing the past we can correct the present. When the present is lived properly, the future takes care of itself.

Nadi Guru Ramesh adds that not everyone has the good fortune to have a reading. He is blessed if there are recommendations to overcome one's karma, since Nadi Guru Ramesh tells me further, that there had been individuals who had been deprived of this chapter. The end result was that they had to endure all the misgivings and sufferings without a solution or salvation. Imagine that situation!

The worst possibility is that one who seeks a reading is turned away! Nadi Guru Ramesh tells me of an individual who was refused a reading and asked to leave by Agathiyar! Imagine that!

For those who have atonement or Parikaaram accept it as a blessing and belief that Agathiyar still loves you and has not given up on you. Just go along with his suggestions and continue having faith on the Siddhas to change our fate.

I had seen Agathiyar perform amazing feats. Once accompanied by my wife, as I was getting settled to have my Nadi read,  Nadi Guru Ramesh asked me a favor. He asked that I translate the Nadi reading, just this once. Nadi Guru Ramesh had extended an invitation for me to be present at Nadi readings for non-Tamil speaking clients to assist in translating into English Agathiyar's revelation many years back. But I to turn him down because I did not want to sit on and listen to the intimate side of other's life's and problems. He explained that a Chinese lady was coming over to have her Nadi read. She had called earlier in the morning and cried over the phone telling Nadi Guru Ramesh about the torture and misery she was undergoing at the office. She had seen her Nadi sometime back, but things worsened at her workplace. She was seeking solace and guidance again from Agathiyar. Just then she arrived and was let into the room. I had no choice then but to assist in translating what was going to be said by Agathiyar. But that day I was happy I did!

Coming into the room, she could no longer control her emotions and tears and broke down in front of us. Nadi Guru Ramesh consoled her and left the room to return with a bundle of Nadi leaves. He immediately started reading from it. I was amazed at Agathiyar! Agathiyar consoled her asking her to bear with the misery and promised that he will bring changes. Agathiyar explained  the entire scenario at her office and revealed who was behind all her misery. Agathiyar asked for 10 days to work on her problem and come out will a amicable solution and eventually bring forth changes. All Agathiyar asked of her was to place a lotus flower on Lord Shiva for 3 consecutive Sundays. As I translated what was read in the Nadi by Nadi Guru Ramesh, I felt good, motivated, and uplifted too although the message was for her. She thanked everyone present, wiped her tears off and left the room with hope. I was happy to see her go off confident that Agathiyar shall take care of things.

Before she left she had asked for directions to the nearest Shiva Temple. On the following Monday I had to meet up with Nadi Guru Ramesh again. Nadi Guru Ramesh on seeing me immediately mentioned that lady and told me that Agathiyar had already changed her fate! She had placed the lotus on Shiva, immediately after leaving us on Saturday and again placed another the following day. Just moments ago her sister had dropped by and conveyed the news that all was well at her office (the lady) and she was very grateful to Agathiyar. Agathiyar asked for a grace period of 10 days but set about correcting the situation and brought joy to her in a mere 3 days!

When my sister was asked to pray to Lord Dhakshanamurthy every Thursday for a number of weeks, she called me saying there was no temple for the Lord in their vicinity. The nearest Shiva Temple was on Penang island. She could not possibly head for Penang every Thursday what with the 3 school going children of hers. I told her that if Agathiyar had given a Parikaaram, he would not make it difficult for her to carry it out. I asked her to ask around and assured her that there would definitely be a shrine for Lord Dhakshanamurthy nearby. What do you say, she comes back to me saying there was one in her very neighborhood and that she had already started the Parikaaram! She did not know there was a shrine for Lord Dhakshanamurthy at that temple until then.

Batu Caves in Malaysia

When a Punjabi lady was told to feed birds and monkeys as part of her Parikaaram, she headed for Batu Caves where she could feed both. She feed the pigeons but to her surprise there was no sight of any monkey that day. She climbed the 272 steps to the cave temple hoping to find them there, only to be disappointed further. Finally she just left the food on the ground and returned home. Some time later she went for another reading. Agathiyar acknowledges that she had performed the Parikaaram satisfactorily! Agathiyar had accepted her efforts towards performing the Parikaaram!

Nadi Guru Ramesh tells me an Indian lady from Mumbai dropped in one day to read her Nadi. She was there specifically to read the Nadi and would leave for her homeland shortly. Nadi Guru Ramesh inquired why she chose to come all the way to Malaysia to have her Nadi read when there were numerous Nadi readers in Mumbai, having to spend a hefty amount for her air ticket and hotel. She just told him that she wanted him to read. She now returns regularly to have a reading with Nadi Guru Ramesh.

Bala Chandran is doing a wonderful service to all by bringing them to the fold of the Siddhas. To date he has brought 83 people for a Nadi reading with Nadi Guru Ramesh. Bala was honored recently by Agathiyar himself on stage in front of all the devotees who had gathered at Kallar to celebrate the Jayanthi and Guru Puja for Agathiyar.

THE JEEVA NADI

He did not belief in God. He was an atheist and began to ridicule God and His devotees. He often debated over this subject matter, condemning temple worship, shunning the rituals and Agamas, and trampling on the very foundation of Hinduism - the Vedhas and the Sastras. He caused a lot of embarrassment to his parents and angered his relatives and clan by his action, words and deeds. It was during this period where he shun all responsibility towards family and society, living without any compassion or love for others that Agathiyar came into his life in the form of the Jeeva Nadi that changed him.

If we have probed much of the Kaanda Nadi in the past postings, there is another Nadi that is equally 'alive' known as the Jeeva Nadi. A Jeeva Nadi Guru of Chennai had one in his possession.

In the preface to his book NADI SOLLUM KATHAIGAL, published by Aranthangi Shanker, the Jeeva Nadi Guru writes about the Jeeva Nadi, how he came about to receive it, and how his life was changed for good after being gifted with it. After benefiting from the Nadi, he wanted to share it with the public. Agathiyar granted his wish.

He says that what he has written this far (He has since passed away in 2010) is only a tiny portion of the enormous amount of revelations stretching over 45 years of reading the Nadi and that there is another 20 years of experiences reading the Jeeva Nadi that he has yet to be written. He adds that these yet to be written episodes are definitely more astonishing and amazing then what has been related.

The Jeeva Nadi Guru explains as to how Agathiyar goes upon helping all those who come seeking his aid. When someone comes for help Agathiyar puts a good word to Vidhi Magal, who determines one's future, to change his fate for good. At times it takes some time for this change to happen. Meantime the seeker is told to conduct prayers and atonement. These prayers and Agathiyar's recommendation will appease Vidhi Magal, thus removing the karma and the seeker has a good life ahead of him. The Jeeva Nadi Guru adds that one needs to be very patient and needs luck on his side too.

The Jeeva Nadi is very old in origin says the Jeeva Nadi Guru. He explains how the words appear in the Jeeva Nadi. Nothing appears in it until one conducts certain important prayers. After these prayers are done the words appear in the form of light, only to the eyes of the Nadi reader. As the reader reads out the message in the Nadi, another has to jot them down. The words disappear once the verse is read. These messages are in Sentamil. One does not need to provide his thumb print or name to receive a reading in the Jeeva Nadi.

The local Indian magazines had carried the Jeeva Nadi Guru's Nadi revelations for some time before he decided to publish them in a series of five books titled NADI SOLLUM KATHAI through another friend of his Aranthangi Shanker.

These revelations have been made into a television series titled AGATHIYAR ARUL VAKU that is yet to be aired in India.

Velayutham Karthikeyan, a friend of the Jeeva Nadi Guru, has been doing a wonderful service of posting these revelations and happenings from the Jeeva Nadi in possession of the Jeeva Nadi Guru of Chennai in his blog SITHTHAN ARUL at http://siththanarul.blogspot.com. Karthikeyan says he has recordings of these readings by the Jeeva Nadi Guru that need to be posted and can go another two years.

Karthikeyan mentions in his post (original in Tamil),

“The Nadi has been written by Siddhas for us to know about our past, the present and the future. Many have corrected their lifestyle after listening to the explanations, heeding the instructions and carrying out atonements. Many more had regained their health and peace of mind.”

“The Siddhas are those who knew the past, present and the future. They were gnosis. The Siddhas were similar to a company’s secretary. The Siddhas were God’s messengers. When those who had prayed to God and had yet to receive God’s blessings, approached the Siddhas instead, they immediately received God’s blessings.”

Karthiyen’s blog entry brings us back to time immemorial when the Siddhas, being compassionate and kind, put forward to God their wishes for humanity. The Siddhas wished that whosoever seeks out the Siddhas for solutions to their problems and thus surrender to the Siddhas, they shall be pardoned for their past deeds, however bad and evil they may be, and shall not be put through the trial and tribulations and made to face the consequences but instead be saved. God granted the Siddhas this wish. The next instant the Siddhas wrote down; the reasons for each individual’s sufferings; listed out solutions and remedies; and showed ways and means to overcome or end the seekers problems, sins, diseases, illnesses and sufferings. They wrote them in Tamil prose on dried and treated palm leaves. This writings came to be known as the Nadi or Olai Chuvadi (Oracle).

Kallar Sidhar (Kallar Munivar) Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigalaar of the Sri Agathiyar Sri Thava Murugar Gnana Peedham at Kallar too has been blessed with a Jeeva Nadi that is now in his possession. Sivabalan of the Agathiyan Shelter in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, an accountant by profession runs a home for the homeless. REVEALING THE MYSTERIES OF THE NADI (Continued)

Agathiyar had been guiding my family and me through the Nadi since day one. The first time I saw the Nadi, he revealed my past karma and showed me ways to lessen the effects of my wrong doings. He introduced me to two wonderful Gurus, Supramania Swami of Thiruvannamalai and Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal of Kallar. He then set me on a path, guiding me and stayed with me. Along the way he showed me his abodes, temples and caves too.

He showed a way when we were undecided as to which course to take. When my daughters, my wife and I had medical problems he advised appropriately on the next course of action and he stayed with us, seeing to it that no harm fell on us.

When my elder daughter had a fungal growth in her toes, he gave her the remedy in his Nadi, a couple of Siddha medicine to consume. He said that allopathic medicine would not be of any use in this case.

When again she broke her leg in an accident, and was admitted in the emergency ward, Agathiyar this time around asked that she continue with the allopathic treatment reminding us that alternative treatment would be of no avail, and in fact might course more damage. Agathiyar through numerous persons helped her in her time of need. She was in fiber cast for 9 months and recovered after the dear Dr Avtar Singh recommended a treatment known as ACP that did not require her to be operated on.

When I seeked Agathiyar's advise after suffering and enduring back pain for more than two years, Agathiyar recommends a couple of Siddha herbal preparations, telling me there was nothing to fear.

When my wife was faced with having to undergo an investigation which involved a procedure where she would be injected in the spine and probed with instruments that could cause internal damage, the doctors having made us aware of the risk involved, I called up Nadi Guru T. Ramesh immediately. Agathiyar was so gracious enough to advise us without we having to be present for the reading. Ramesh read Agathiyar's Nadi over the phone. Agathiyar advised her to go ahead with the procedure and assured her that he shall be there with her to care for her. He said there was no other option available. To our astonishment Agathiyar related word for word the entire procedure just as the doctor had briefed my wife earlier, in the Nadi.

And the latest miracle to take place was when my second daughter was hospitalized for Dengue fever. Agathiyar amazingly reveals my daughters condition in Surendaran Selvaratnam's Jeeva Nadi reading by Agathiyar read by Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal at his ashram the Sri Agathiyar Sri Thava Murugar Gnana Peedham at Kallar on 15.2.2014. Agathiyar reveals that Thirumular and he were present at the hospital and took measures to increase her blood count and platelet. We were dumbfounded, lost for words.

That is Agathiyar! The most compassionate Father!

 

LETS START THEM YOUNG

I was already 43 years of age went I came to know about Agathiyar and the Siddhas in 2002. Later in 2005, when I met Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal in Malaysia, I asked him, why should I only come to know of the Siddhas so late in life. I thought Tavayogi will come out with an elaborate explanation. Instead as usual, he told me to be grateful, at least I was given this opportunity to come into their folds now!

I am happy for my children that they have accepted the Siddhas at a very young age. Agathiyar tells me in my Nadi reading that my second daughter is the reason I have stepped into the path of the Siddhas. She brought me into their folds. I am grateful to this young soul.

Lets start them young.

THE SIDDHAS SPEAK ABOUT AGATHIYAR

The Siddhas have very high regard for Agathiyar. They look up towards him as Guru Muni. In the following revelations from the Nadi, the Siddhas praise Agathiyar.

Konganar has this to say about Agathiyar:

தான் என்ற கொடும்பாவம் தீர்க்கும் ஆசான்
தர்மத்தின் வழி சொல்லிக் கருணை வைப்பான்
ஊன் என்ற மந்திரமே உபதேசித்து
உண்மையுடன் சுழி முனையிலே இருக்கும் என்று
கோன் என்று சிவ ரூபம் கண்ணில் காட்டி
கோபமென்ற முனை போக்கி ஆசை போக்கி
தான் என்ற ஆணவங்கள் தன்னைப் போக்கி
நாடுவார் குருநாதன் மோட்சம் தானே

Agathiyar is praised in a traditional hymn as follows:

சிலம்பொலி போல் பாடுகின்ற சித்தன் தன்னை
வெஞ்சாபமுமில்லை  ஒரு வினையுமில்லை
வேலுண்டு துணை வருங்கால் வெற்றி உண்டாம்

There were many moments where Agathiyar surprises us in the Kaanda Nadi.

Agathiyar had in the very first Nadi reading mentioned briefly about my Guru and later spoke about both Supramania Swami and Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal numerous times. Agathiyar confirmed that Supramania Swami had indeed gone into Samadhi on 7.2.2007.

If we had seen how Agathiyar provided a reading for my wife without her thumbprint taken or she required to be present, Agathiyan mentions Annette Cleveland in my Nadi. Agathiyar mentions Navarani Vijayaratnam, and lately Jnana Jyothi Amma too.

I was surprised when I was referred to these devotees Nadi: Maran, Thayalan Arumugam, and Bala Chandran too. Agathiyar has been mysteriously setting up networking here for reasons only known to him.

If I had given Nadi Guru Sentilkumar a print of my right thumb to help trace and locate my Kaanda Nadi the very first time in 2002, Nadi Guru Ramesh did not ask for my thumbprint to be taken. Instead, he only played back a few minutes of the last portion of my last reading, recorded on audiotape by Senthilkumar and immediately left and returned with a Nadi from which he started reading. There was no question and answer session neither. And thus beginning from that moment, Ramesh had read my Nadi 46 times to-date.

Later Ramesh read both my daughters' Nadi located based on their left thumbprint. The subsequent readings of my elder daughter did not require the thumbprint anymore.

Ramesh called me in for a reading, as usual, one fine day. I sat waiting for him to return while he went into the adjacent room where he stored all the Nadi. He came back within a few minutes dumbfounded. He stared at me, a blank look on his face, not able to comprehend anything anymore, he told me that the day's reading was for my wife!

Usually, when he calls me in, there is a message for me but that day, Agathiyar chooses to address my wife, without even she being present there, and without having her left thumbprint taken! Agathiyar made an exception in her case and we understood pretty well why she was special later when he revealed the Nadi. 

Agathiyar surprised both Ramesh and me when he had a reading for my wife. Agathiyar was fully contented with my wife's service to him! He praised her for all her efforts in carrying out worship and prayers for him.

Since Agathiyar came to Agathiyar Vanam in the form of a bronze statue on the eve of his Jayanthi and Guru Puja on 3.1.2010, we had been conducting the homam or lighting the sacrificial fire and abhisegam or libation for him without fail every Thursday or Guru Naal, every full moon day or Pournami, every new moon day or Amavasai, on the annual Jayanthi days, and every other auspicious day like Vinayagar Chathurthi, Thaipusam, Navarathri, and Shivarathri, etc.

You can imagine the amount of work and preparation she does so that this prayers can be conducted without any hitches. Her work starts a couple of days before the actual day of prayers, during the prayer and continues after prayers too where she has to wash up. She prepares the food too for the devotees who participate in the prayers and the family too. And we could understand Agathiyar's appreciation towards her. She deserves all the credit!

JEEVA NADI READING AT KALLAR

On 15.2.2014 Surendaran Selvaratnam from Malaysia was one of the many devotees present at the Sri Agathiyar Sri Thava Murugar Gnana Peedham in Kallar to have his Jeeva Nadi read by the patron founder of this ashram Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal. He was very pleased with the reading.

If the Kaanda Nadi is located and read after taking a print of the thumb of an individual, the Jeeva Nadi is life reading, where Agathiyar answers the questions and doubts of devotees who appear before the Jeeva Nadi reader.

A famed Jeeva Nadi Guru from Chennai had been gifted with a Jeeva Nadi by Agathiyar. Ganesan of Tanjore too has one in his possession. Lately, Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal was blessed with the Jeeva Nadi which he reads currently every Saturdays and Wednesdays.

You will be expecting the video on the Jeeva Nadi reading at Kallar next, right? Sorry to disappoint you. When Suren approached Tavayogi to record a normal Jeeva Nadi reading session at Kallar, Tavayogi remained silent for a moment and told him that he would be publicizing the service, which he was not keen in. Tavayogi very humbly turned him down.

MAUNA GURU SWAMIGAL OF BATU CAVES

When Surendran Selvaratnam read the Jeeva Nadi in possession of Tavayogi on his recent visit to Kallar on 15.2.2014, Agathiyar directed him to visit Jeganatha Swamigal's Samadhi and Mauna Guru Swamigal's Samadhi. I had always wondered why Agathiyar had not mentioned these two Gurus in the Nadi. I understand from Bala Chandran that an Indian citizen working in Singapore too was asked to worship Mauna Guru Swamigal's Samadhi earlier by Agathiyar in his Nadi.

There is yet another samadhi, that of Sannasi Aandavar in Malacca. Nothing much is known about this Guru too.

REVEALING THE MYSTERIES OF THE NADI PART 3/5

In the very first reading of the Nadi by Senthilkumar, Agathiyar had mentioned many things among them that I shall meet my guru. But Agathiyar did not mention the time and the place. After completing my atonement or parikaaram in the temples in India in 2003, I had still not met him. I thought it must be another time and another place. It could also happen back in Malaysia. But miraculously, I was brought to my first Guru Supramania Swami of Tiruvannamalai on the pretext of having my second daughter's astrological chart just before I left for Malaysia. Thus started a beautiful relationship between the Guru and the disciple.

The very first time I met Supramania Swami, I was amazed to hear him talk about me and my future. Although he was an astrologer too, he did not draw up my astrological chart nor read my palm. All those revelations just flowed out of him as I sat awestruck before him, neither of us moving from that spot for the next 5 hours.

Agathiyar after the first reading asked that I perform all the atonement and come back for another reading after 2 years when I was 45 years of age. When Tavayogi was in Malaysia in 2005, I made an appointment to meet him. During that time I mentioned to him that I was having difficulty locating a Nadi reader since it was about time I saw the Nadi again. I was 45 then. Tavayogi immediately passed me Nadi Guru T.Ramesh's contact number. 

On the appointed day, I stood in front of Ramesh. We spoke about Tavayogi for an hour. Ramesh revealed that Senthilkumar (my first Nadi Guru) and he had read the Nadi for Tavayogi previously. Tavayogi too had been guided by Agathiyar through the Nadi. Tavayogi showed me some of these Nadi leaves of his in his possession when I accepted his invitation to visit his ashram in 2005.

Ramesh mentioned that he had also read the Nadi for Rengaraja Desigar of Ongkarakudil in Turaiyur. Rengarajar stills receive revelations which he publishes for the benefit of the public.

Those days when Ramesh was renting a premise beside the Karpaga Vinayagar Temple in Brickfields he could afford to spend much time with us talking about Agathiyar, the Nadi, Gurus, and the Path of the Siddhas. Lately, Ramesh has such a tight schedule accommodating seekers of the Nadi, that these cherished moments have become a rarity. Bala Chandran who read the Nadi with Ramesh was so captivated with the results that he had campaigned the Siddhas and the Nadi to all friends and relatives. To date, he has led 83 people to Ramesh to have their Nadi read!

Just like everyone else who had been to a Nadi reader, I too gave a print of my right thumb to Senthilkumar. Sentil came back after a few minutes with a few bundles of Nadi leaves all tied up neatly. He placed a single bundle closed to his eyes, mentally conducted a prayer and untied the string that held the leaves in its wood case. He started reading from the first leaf. I was told to answer only yes or no, either I agreed or not agreed to the contents read from the leaf. After he read a few lines and seeing that I had not nodded to any of the statements from the Nadi, he moved on to the next leaf in the same bundle. This went on for some time until we reached the last leaf in that bundle. I had not accepted any of the revelations as referring to me.

So he moved on to untie another bundle and repeated the entire sequence of questioning. Since I had not consented to the contents in the Nadi as referring to me again, he moved on to yet another bundle. It is interesting to note that in one of the leaves, all that Sentil read from it referred to me and my family, until when he mentioned the name of the individual's wife. It was Manogari. My wife does not carry that name. Surprisingly my name, that of my parents, the number of siblings, my occupation, one of my sibling's occupations, the fact that my mother was called by two names too was mentioned in that particular leaf. But since my wife's name was not Manogari, Sentil moved on saying it was not my leaf. The question arises, so could there be another individual walking this earth with the exact description as me but married to someone else? The question has not been answered.

After a long time, and having read from three bundles, Sentil told me that he had to stop for the day, as he was not allowed to read further. He gave me an appointment for another day, two weeks from then.

On the appointed day, I turned up again and Sentil continued the search for my Nadi.  After reading from a few leaves, there was on in the very first bundle that I could accept as talking about me and my family. I accepted it. Sentil sent me away asking to come back again for the full reading of the leaf that I had picked another day.

On arrival, Sentil read from a transcribe of the chosen leaf. He read the transcribe of the Pothu Kaandam or general canto describing me and the family; moved on to Karma Kaadam or the revelation of the past birth and the past karmas and the reasons to take this birth; and finally showed me a way out of the karmas, reading the Shaanti Parikaara Kaadam. I was amazed. I sat in awe as he revealed so many things from my Nadi.

Sivabalan, a Malaysia lad, who had brought in Sentilkumar from Avinashi to read the Nadi at his home, suggested after reading these three cantos that I read the Gnana Kaadam or the spiritual canto too. He told me not everyone has one written. Sentil went in and came out after a while with yet another bundle of leaves. He untied the string and peeked into the leaves. To both Sivabalan's and my surprise, Sentil left the room abruptly without saying a word. After a while, we heard the ringing of the bells and some chanting. Sentil came back into the room and started reading from the Gnana Kaadam.  It was sheer amazement.

I had always regarded the Nadi reading as very personal. I did not reveal its contents to anyone outside the family. After 12 years I have posted portions of the extensive collection of Nadi readings, 47 till this date, as an audio rendition at shanmugam-avadaiyappa59143.podomatic.com

I decided to air these recordings after I returned from Agathiyar's abode at Kallar in October last year. Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal with Mataji Sarojini Ammaiyaar run an Ashram the Sri Agathiyar Sri Thava Murugar Gnana Peedham at Kallar. After being under Tavayogi's wing for the past 8 years, my family and I gained recognition and endorsement on what we were doing when Tavayogi requested we conduct a prayer at his venue. He was very impressed, I suppose, since he asked that we conduct another prayer the next day too. It was indeed a rare opportunity and my family and I was blessed to conduct the prayers at Agathiyar's abode!

Just before we left he called me up and had Mataji bring a book, SIDHARGAL PUJA VIDHI, and read out a mantra from it. This was Agathiyar's mantra which my wife and I had received during during our very first initiation from Tavayogi in Malaysia in 2005. He asked that we spread this mantra to people. This instruction of his surprised me since when he had initiated us back then, he cautioned us to keep it a secret and not to reveal it. 

Once while traveling in Malaysia, Tavayogi told me to spread the words of Agathiyar and the Siddhas to the masses. I was hardly a few years into this path then and was hesitant. I was questioning myself if I had all the values to do so? Tavayogi during the opening of a Peedham in Banting, (cleverly) announced that I shall speak a few words. You can imagine my state then. I began to have cold feet. I motioned to him that it was not necessary for me to speak. Luckily I managed to say a few words and escaped from having to talk further by initiating the rendition of the Arutprunjhoti mantra where all those present joined in.

REVEALING THE MYSTERIES OF THE NADI PART 1/5

When I carried stories of the Nadi and the revelations many corresponded with me seeking clarification, explanation and some even thought I was a Nadi reader.

Just like many, I too was captivated by the Nadi and its revelations. I was told of the existence of the Nadi the first time by my good friend, astrologer and Siddha practitioner Dr. Krishnan way back in 1996. It was only in 2002 after my colleague Murali Saminathan told me of his experience seeking the Nadi in 2000 that I was tempted to have a reading. Murali called Sivabalan of Petaling Jaya who then gave me an appointment. Senthilkumar from Avinasi read my Kaanda Nadi.

A whole new world opened up before me. Before this reading, I did not know about Karma. Agathiyar in the Nadi spoke about it. He spoke about our actions and their repercussions. I had not given any thought about rebirth and possibly past lives. Agathiyar revealed my past life. Agathiyar explained how our lives and present state of affairs is linked to our past deeds. Until then I did not know about the existence of the Siddhas. Agathiyar spoke about them and asked me to come into their fold.

Agathiyar was gracious enough to provide relief, and opening and an escape route for me to come out of the rut I was in by providing atonement or parikaaram. I was blessed to come to know of the Nadi, given an opportunity to know my past and my past deeds, and shown ways and means to overcome or the least lessen the effects of my past Karma.

Over the years I came to understand more about the Siddhas and their workings. A documentary carried by Discovery Channel on the Nadi captivated my attention and interest. Books and videos by Sashikant Oak too helped clarify many things regarding the Nadi and the Siddhas. Velayutham Karthikeyan's blog SITHTHAN ARUL played a major part in revealing the mysteries of the Siddhas and the Nadi. Through SITHTHAN ARUL I came to know of Hanumathdasan and his contribution towards society. Later I asked my very good friend, Jnana Jyothi Amma to purchase the published works of Hanumathdasan, revelations of Agathiyar through the Jeeva Nadi in possession of Hanumathdasan, all five books titled NAADI SOLLUM KATHAIGAL. Discipleship to two beautiful Gurus, Supramania Swami of Tiruvannamalai and Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal brought me closer to God. Just observing them both brought more understanding.

The Siddhas opened up a new chapter in my life. They taught me to be more charitable. They asked that we instill good values in us and move towards becoming Divine in nature. Tavayogi told me there would also be brickbats thrown at you as you walk this path. It would be a test of time and patience. It would not be an easy path. Perseverance and determination will help one sail through these rapids and stormy waters.

After having come to the path of the Siddhas, becoming acquainted with the Siddhas and my Gurus and armed with whatever little knowledge and experience I had, I embarked on this marvelous and wonderful journey. And so I set about mentioning the Siddhas, my Gurus and whatever little experiences I had on my website INDIANHEARTBEAT, SCRIBD and on YOUTUBE. Later I terminated these accounts only to be told by Agathiyar in the Nadi and Tavayogi to reinstate them. And so I set about posting and uploading again. Along the way, I had received many beautiful reviews and emails from readers and also some nasty ones too.

I have been reading your articles for the past 2 months repeatedly as I find it really amazing and gives me a sense of spirituality every time I read it. It is really amazing to know that you have experienced many miracles throughout your trip to India. 

I would like to share something with you which I consider an interesting event in my life. Probably we are all connected in a way or another by Agathiyar. I met Nadi Reader Ramesh at the end of March where he read my olai. At first, I took it very lightly about the reading, but a tragic event which was mentioned in olai suvadi happened to me in less than a week from the time the olai was read! I realized that it is no joke. The tragic event actually leads me to a path in which I started to read and deepen my knowledge in sitthar and olai chuvadi. That’s when I found your article.

Now I realize that when I first went for my olai reading, it was mentioned that I would have Sitthar Valipadu and Sittar Thodarbu in this birth. I am seeing it happening now! I met ...... last Friday and he shared a lot of things with him on Sitthar and he also mentioned about you and how the olai reading has been so accurate for you.

There is something that you have mentioned about the Nadi reading that Sage Agastiyar had promised. Is this the Nadi reading which is going on in Vaitheswaran? Hello Anna, I saw your posts on some of the websites related to Nadi. I have been to a 4 Kaandam nadi readers so far, but none of them seemed genuine. I really really need the guidance of the Maharishis. I got in touch with Mr. Ganesan from Tanjavur. Unfortunately, he said he will not be doing readings for anyone until June 2014. I then found the contact info of the Agathiar Gnana Peedam at Kallar, and managed to get an appointment ... but only in late Feb. Could you please suggest a Nadi reader I could visit in the meanwhile? I contacted a few others...But I didn't get a good feeling about them.

Thanks for visiting the blog and your kind comments. I feel you are not ready for reading. The reason is you can keep going to more readers, maybe even be at Kallar, or with Ganesan, but in the back of your mind, your past experiences with the earlier Nadi readers will surface. You will always not get a good feeling about them. One who is desperate will not seek an opinion as to the genuinenity of the readers or have an opinion on the Nadi because in that situation we seek the Sidhas opinion and feelings on that matter. Our opinions and feelings will be immaterial. Sorry if I sounded harsh. Certain things have to be said.

And she responded to my reply.

I am in need of divine guidance...PERIOD. Let the great Siddhars decide if I am ready for a reading or not. If I am not, they will not make it happen anyway. I did not ask for your opinion, as to whether I'm ready or not. I just asked if you could recommend some genuine readers, for I am not in a position to get cheated of huge amounts of money over and over again in the name of remedies... If you cannot help, that's fine. There's no need to give unsolicited advice and be rude to people who are already going through a tough time. Sorry if I sounded harsh. Certain things have to be said.

Agathiyar says if you lose money in this way to the Nadi readers, there is a reason for it too. He says that he is taking away your Karma. Nadi Guru Ganesan of Tanjavur who has a Jeeva Nadi too conveys Agathiyar's explanation as to why the Nadi reading does not seem right for some seekers. When I had new friends and seekers come over for prayers and also out of curiosity, some stayed back. Later they shared their sorrows and miseries with my wife and me. We being good listeners, heard them through and naturally started advising them. But then that lead to inconveniences for the family. When I consulted Tavayogi he slammed me, asking me, "Why do you interfere?" and continued, "Show them to Agathiyar. Let Agathiyar deal with them."

I accepted all these as part of growing up and a lesson that I needed to learn.
