PEDRO SOLANA AND AGATHIYAR PART 1

AVM received a visitor yesterday, introduced by Uva. He is Pedro Solana, Chief Instructor and Founder of Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts and Sangham Internal Arts based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

His website http://www.muaythaisangha.com/ provides a brief description of himself as follows,
Pedro Solana was born in Spain. He entered the martial arts world training judo when he was only six years old. In the 80's he was introduced into MuayThai by Ajarn Eugenio Fraile, where his fighting career began.
In the early 90's he moved to the USA to further his Muay Thai skills under Ajarn Surachai Sirusute and continue professionally fighting for a number of years. During these years he was training other disciplines including Wing Chun under Sifu Francis Fong, Kali under Guro Dan Inosanto, and various other masters of grappling (Machado brothers, Royce Gracie, Ricardo Murgel and Jacare Calvalcante).
In 1998, after becoming the United States Muay Thai Middle Weight Professional Champion, he decided to travel to Thailand for a full year to expand his Muay Thai and Krabi Krabong skills.
In 2000 he opened the Thailand Arts Institute in Atlanta, GA. to support his fighting career. In 2002 he permanently moved to Thailand to continue learning.
After becoming a monk he went to train Muay Thai Chaiya under Kru Lek and came back to Krabi Krabong (Thai Weapons) training under Ajarn Sila Mesaman from the Wat Buddhai Sawan School.
In 2003, Pedro Solana opened his first school in Thailand.
In 2010 he expanded into various other forms of Southeast Asian martial arts including Silat Minangkabau Ground Fighting, Bokator and Kalaripayattu. From his exposure to different martial arts a unique and effective system of self defense known as "Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts" was created. Later on, through experience, deep reflection, and self discovery, Pedro Solana realized in meditation that certain aspects in the Fighting Arts were missing.
In 2013 he decide to blend these internal concepts together and develop a new form of self defense called "Kshatria Sangham Internal Arts" that included all the concepts from his past experiences of fighting.
His work now is involved in teaching seminars around the world, and creating documentaries to expose a very important message for humanity related to overcoming inner fears and developing and understanding of the "Self" through the path of martial arts.
Pedro, who is currently spreading the Martial Arts of the Siddhas, had visited Malaysia several times and was again back in Malaysia. Uva brought him over to AVM just before he leaf for Thailand today. It was a very pleasurable evening where we spoke and Pedro joined us in prayer to Agathiyar. He had a Nadi reading with Nadi Nool Aasan T. Ramesh earlier where Agathiyar reveals that he (Agathiyar) teaches Pedro, Siddha martial arts by going directly into his body. Pedro in return has started teaching all his students Siddha meditation and Agasthiyar mantra.

SPECIAL MOMENTS WITH TAVAYOGI WHILE IN MALAYSIA.

Listening to and reading Jnana Jyothi Amma's emails on her experiences, now that she is in solitude for more than a year, made me rethink whether I really wanted what is called Jnana. I began to see it as a path laid with thorns. It does not come easy I understood. The family of my first guru Supramania Swami too have mentioned that he went through a tough time. Neither did it come easy for my present guru Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal. When Tavayogi was available to spare a few moments during his busy schedule while in Malaysia recently, I popped this question to him. I told him that we are considering if we really wanted Jnana, seeing the amount of pain and suffering one has to endure to gain it. Tavayogi immediately told me that we won't have to go through it. He had to because he wanted it. He asked for it.

When you want something that much Agathiyar provides for it. Tavayogi wanted to preach the Siddha Marga and he was sent to several countries to fulfil out his wish. A former disciple of Tavayogi wanted to head a spiritual organization and he was given the opportunity. Supramania Swami's 40 year wish to build a temple in Thiruvannamalai took off although the Siddhas decided to stop it later for reasons only known to them. He accepted their decision.

When we brought Tavayogi and Agathiyar (murthy) to the homes of devotees and members of AVM, it was at Santosh's and Vinthamaray's home that Tavayogi was shown a copy of my book THE SIDHAS. He immediately began to browse through it, stalling his gaze for a moment to carefully read certain passages from it and moved on to flip and scrutinize the book further. He was happy about the contents and accuracy of what he read. He was particularly happy with the many references that I had made to in the book. He turned to me and said, in his teachings too he always referred to the Siddha songs and literature. Nothing he said was his, it all had references to the text of the Siddhas. He asked for a copy from Vinthamaray to keep as his own. I was delighted that the book had his approval.

When we were having a private moment at Dyalen's home, both Tavayogi and Mataji told me that they we sadden when they heard that I had retired from work, their reason that I would not have an income now as I was the sole bread winner.

I explained to them that I had considered leaving my work and focus on Agathiyar's work for some years now, but had to put it off as my eldest daughter was still in college. Finally the time was right I felt when she started her internship and would soon need to look for a job. By Agathiyar's grace she continued at the same place of her internship having landed a job there. Now I had only my wife and second daughter to care for. The younger one decided to do her Sixth Form and then continue to college in slightly less than a couple of years time. I think I could manage with my pension.

But the biggest approval came from Agathiyar, I told Tavayogi and Mataji, bringing immediate peace to them. Although I made the decision to leave early, I was having a small doubt whether the decision I took was right. That is when I had a Nadi reading and Agathiyar surprised me by addressing this issue. He gave the thumbs up for me to leave. Hearing me say this Tavayogi and Mataji were happy for me and my family.

When Tavayogi came over to my home on 31st July 2005 for the very first time, he held a small prayer and showed us Agathiyar. When he arrived in Malaysia recently, I specifically asked that he grace the homes of AVM members and conduct a similar Siddha prayer. Hence Tavayogi and Agathiyar blessed nine homes of AVM members with their presence where we filled these homes further with Agathiyar's Nama Japam or chants.

Just before he left for India after a two month stay in Malaysia, I asked him for direction - what I was to do now that Agathiyar has acknowledged and endorsed AVM, Thondu Seivom and Amudhasurabhi?  He turned to us and said, "What am I to direct you my son, Agathiyar is already directing you."

Tavayogi has acknowledged the steps we had taken in the worship of the Siddhas and the mechanism that was put in place to bring about an awareness of the Siddhas to the public. He went back a happy man, telling us that his long cherished wish and desire to see the Siddha Margam flourish in Malaysia has seen the light of the day, through AVM, AUM, Thondu Seivom and Amudhasurabhi. It brought joy to us to receive his blessings, acknowledgement and endorsement and that of Agathiyar too. He has given us a boost and shot in the arm to venture into more possibilities in bringing Agathiyar and the Siddhas to the masses. We are all excited seeing the latest developments and especially after Tavayogi's visit to Malaysia.

Once back home at Kallar Ashram, Tavayogi has moved several devotees who are key players to bring the Ashram to the attention of the world. Kalyan and his teammates have started mobilizing the machinery in readiness for the upcoming four day Inauguration and Agathiyar Jayanthi and Guru Puja celebration at Kallar beginning on 15 December 2016.

LIFE'S LITTLE LESSONS PART 2 - LEARN TO FORGIVE

Agathiyar forgave me and expected me to forgive others too. This element of forgiveness is very important in all faiths and cultures. It lets us move on and not brood on the past. That very instant we realize that a big burden is released off our chest. As it is we are already carrying a baggage of karma on our shoulders and need to lay that down somewhere, sometime and somehow, so why carry the hurt in our hearts too?

Forgiveness does not come easy though. One has to learn to let go for are we not here to learn to redress our weaknesses and wrongs.

It's interesting to note that many survivors of near-death experiences have come back to narrate their tale. Among these stories there is always a common factor and denominator. They were always asked to forgive others (which they should have done while alive) before being lead to the other world.

THEY SAID GOD COULD NOT BE EVERYWHERE SO HE CREATED MOTHER

Betty J Eadie died a clinical death but survived to tell her tale. She writes in her book EMBRACED BY THE LIGHT, a Bantam Book, 1994, as follows,
The heavens scrolled back again, and I saw the sphere of earth rotating in space. I saw many lights shooting up from the earth like beacons. Some were very broad and charged into heaven like broad laser beams. Others resembled the illumination of small pen lights, and some were mere sparks. I was surprised as I was told that these beams of power were the prayers of people on earth.
I saw angels rushing to answer the prayers. They were organized to give as much help as possible. They always responded to the brighter, larger prayers first, then each prayer in turn, until all of them were answered.
I was told that there is no greater prayer than that of a mother for her children. These are the purest prayers because of their intense desire and, at times, sense of desperation. A mother has the ability to give her heart to her children and to implore mightily before god for them.
Thank you Ma.

LIGHTING OF 108 GHEE LAMPS AT BATU CAVES

By Agathiyar's grace, Thondu Seivom, Amuthasurabi and AVM jointly have come together to conduct for the 2nd year the Lighting of 108 Ghee Lamps or 108 Nei Theebam Yetrum Vizha beginning at 8am on Sunday, 16 October 2016 at the Batu Caves Murugan Temple in front of Lord Muruga's Sannadhi. Please join us in prayer for Ulaga Semam or the good of mankind and all of Erai's creation. We will light the lamps and recite the Siddhar Potri, followed by meditation at Mauna Siddhar Samadhi and finally provide free food and shall feed the animals, birds and fish too.

THE NEW KALLAR ASHRAM NEARING COMPLETION & AGATHIYAR'S NADI REVELATION

Dyalen Muniandi from AVM and his family are currently in India. He sent in these photos of Kallar Ashram.

Agathiyar speaks about the reason and need for moving into a new Ashram and on several other issues in a recent Jeeva Nadi revelation at Kallar Ashram.

Agathiyar is happy with the arrangements undertaken to carry out the inauguration and opening of his new Temple/Ashram/Meditation Hall complex on 16 December 2016 and to celebrate his big day on 18 December 2016 by the devotees at Kallar Ashram. He is aware of the service rendered and hardship they went through in making the fest a success the previous year. Agathiyar asks the devotees to carry on with their undivided and selfless service which would in return bring good karma and good merits. "Thy sorrow shall leave too", he adds.

After many years of tapas and overcoming many obstacles, Tavayogi has set out to build a temple for Agathiyar and the 18 Siddhas. Agathiyar has blessed him and his initiative and endures. He reminds us that much strength is required to be remain faithful and devoted to him. He adds that all his devotees will receive the blessings of the 18 Siddhas too. All the Devas and Devis will be present too at the coming fests.

Agathiyar points out to the location of a very old tree and reveals that he had been meditating at that spot for many years.

The tree that Agathiyar mentioned where he had meditated for many years
Finally Agathiyar speaks about the greatness of standing firm on the path of Dharma.

Agathiyar blesses everyone.
