MIRACLES OF AGATHIYAR PART 4 - SAVED FROM A CRISIS

I answered a call on my handphone. It was a new number. There was a child on the other end talking gibberish. I could not make out what she was saying. This went on for some time until her father took the phone from her and apologized saying that his daughter had mistakenly called me.

I received the following email on 30 June 2015. This mail was a followup to the above amazing event that took place even much earlier.

Besides narrating the magnitude of the problem he was facing through his mail, the father of this child was seeking a solution to his problem. I have edited his mail, refraining from mentioning his problem.

Vanakam Ayya, My name is ...... If u remember my 2 year daughter had mistakely call you month ago.

..... Im facing worst period in my life.

I never did any harm to anyone in life and trust in murugan and agasthiar guru. All my life i did lot of charity as I can. ...... I still trust 100% my murugan and agasthiar wont let me down..But recently I feel really down because most of people so called mahan that I met more interested in money. Even some agasthiar olai I seen the reader asked me Rm130k to do poojai to save me. .... For the time being I stopped to pray because I really lost hope and dont know what else I can do. Why murugan n agasthiar guru never show me any way.

Really need your advice and blessings. Before this I got seen olai and never mentioned I will suffer like this. Im also attaching my spiritual gaandam reading. .....

I replied him giving him some hope.

I m very sorry to hear about your misgivings. But you have a very good future in store seeing from the Nadi reading. Do not worry.

I shall narrate a miracle. A Malaysian Indian was taken into custody suspected as a drug pusher. He was in possession of the drug which was carried in his car by friends without his knowledge. He was remanded. If convicted he would have to go to the gallows. His wife rushed to Kallar ashram stayed overnight and returned the next day. She asked Tavayogi and Mataji to perform a prayer for Agathiyar while there. Agathiyar performed a miracle. Her husband was acquitted of the charge!

Call up Mataji at 98425 50987. Tell her your story. See if u can go over and do a puja there. See if u can be at Kallar on a Wednesday or a Saturday. That is the day the Jeeva Nadi reading is done. Maybe Agathiyar can advise you further in the Nadi.

Whatever it is do not lose hope. Hope is what keeps us alive. I pray that all goes well. You have my number right?

When he received my reply the same day, he wrote in again.

Its a miracle. Today I surrender myself to murugan and agathiar and start pray.I received your email just after I finish prayers .I promised myself if even murugan and agasthiar let me down, I will surrender myself fully to them.

I cant go to kallar in this situation. Will do sitthar potri and murugan poojai here. Im lucky finally I got chance to get blessings from good soul like you. Will ask my wife try to call mataji. I already spoken to many people but all make use of my situation. I dun have your number ayya. Keep me in ur prayers.

On 1st July I received the following mail. This mail surprised me as he was directed to AVM by Mataji Sarojini Ammaiyar of Kallar Ashram.

Ayya, my wife already spoken to mataji regarding my problem. She asked me and my wife to join your pournami guru poojai. Need your permision and location of the poojai. Jeeva naadi will be read by tavayogi ayya this saturday.

Really thankful and Im lucky to get blessings from great soul like you.

Yesterday I and my wife did pournami poojai at Shanmugam Ayya house..Im really lucky to do abishegam and poojai to agasthiar by the guidance of Shanmugam Ayya. Im completely surrender myself to muruga and agasthiar. Will accept what ever their decision for me. As I know I never did any harm to any one and till now I still doing anathanam and charity for the needy as I can.

Once my problem settled will come to Kallar and do what I can for ashraman. Will wait what Agasthiar instruction for me on Saturday jeeva naadi. Thanks a lot ayya.

He forwarded to me Tavayogi's reply the next day. It was reassuring to hear Tavayogi give him hope too.

A year later I received a note of gratitude from him on May 7th.

Just goin to my past emails and found this ayya. Lot of things come to my mind. Im really grateful and thank you sincerely from my heart for all you did past year.

Ayya think you still remember how I came to AVM. It all started with my 2 year old daughter call to you. Its first time I talked to you.

You had guided me for past year directly and indirectly through your blog. I never missed your single post since beginning.

When I really down and dont know what to do agasthiar appa sent you for rescue. Its all still fresh in mind when I mention to you at AVM murugan let me down and you consule me that all happen due to karma and appa will save me. Even I helped lot of people before you are the only good soul that asked me if I needed any financial help during that difficulty.

When jeeva naadi reading at Kallar appa mention that Tavayogi ayya is my past life guru .... Appa also mentioned that all my karma will vanish soon that really happened recently. I did anathanam at Subramani swami samadhi and started my parigaram. Really felt like being blessed by Subramani swami that time.where I shared the picture to you from India. All the parigarams done perfectly with all the blessing of agasthiar appa, subramani sami and yourself. Even in aasi gandam I seen December 2015, appa mentioned "naanum esanum mannam kulirnthe ponnen".

All what happened to me is like miracle where till now im feeling like dreaming. Where just a year ago I felt that my life is gone and no one can save me. Maybe my life can be a motivation to everyone for not lost hope where miracles can be done by appa just in a split second. Just surrender fully to him and he knows what is right for his children.

Thanks again ayya. Hope you continue your good deeds to human kind. Even we less communicate or meet up but my mind and soul always thinking about you.

MIRACLES OF AGATHIYAR PART 3 - A BUNDLE OF JOY & A CAREER

On Jun 23 I received an email.

Dear sir,

Hope you are doing well. I am writing this mail seeking your guidance. I have been trying to get promoted for a few years, and also have been trying to get a new job. And, I have been constantly failing at it. Either I get the offer and not join due to a few circumstances or it slips from my hand. I have consulted both kaanda Nadi and jeeva Nadi, and events did not manifest as predicted.

For example, I consulted agathiyar jeeva Nadi astrologer Babu in nolambur who has agathiyars blessing to predict future without a leaf. He mentioned for sure I would get promoted in a month, but it turned out otherwise.

Even tavayogi in the jeeva nadi mentioned, Agathiyar is always with me.

I am struggling to understand the reason for predictions not turing out accurate.

Did you ever face such a situation.
Am I at fault somewhere? or is it just bad karma gone worse? ?

I was shattered when I found out I was not getting promoted as I completely trusted the prediction given by jeeva nadi Babu. My faith crumbled for a moment.

What do u suggest I do?? I am confused...

This reader although was going through a tough time and although the predictions were not taking place, yet he held on to his faith on Agathiyar. It paid off eventually.

He sent me the following mail this morning.

Dear Sir,

Hope you are doing well. I would like to share a testimony of the lord agastya miracle in my life.

I have been trying for a new job for the past 2 years and I had gone through multiple ups and downs. I was denied promotion twice in my current organization and I was rejected by multiple organizations and I remember mailing you as well. I also had to reject a few offers as I was in such a circumstance. My mental agony was excruciating and I was heart broken.

And, the lord god and agastya performed a miracle in my life.

He made me apply to a position at one of the Big 4 Retail firms and the firm contacted me within a week. I was a little casual, however the lord made me work hard for the interview. Another miracle within this process was, I was rejected for the role that I was interviewing for, BUT THE INTERVIEW PANEL HAD SUGGESTED MY NAME FOR A ROLE HIGHER THAN WHAT IS WAS CONSIDERED FOR. I got the job offer and I am glad to tell you that the lord has literally doubled my salary. I asked him for a rock, he gave me a mountain.

It was predicted in my prasna Kandam that I would get a great job after guru peyarchi. It happened as agathiyar had predicted.

I sincerely request you to share this testimony for all those people trying to establish themselves in their career. I appeal to them to trust the lord and my saviour agastya with all their hearts. May god Bless them.

Lord Agastya has also blessed me with a Baby boy a month ago, which was predicted in my tulya nadi as well.

MIRACLES OF AGATHIYAR PART 2 - SAVING A LIFE/ GIVING LIFE

Once Agathiyar delivered a message ahead of an individual's visit in the Jeeva Nadi to the late Jeeva Nadi Guru of Chennai to forewarn him of an ugly incident that was to take place at his home.

Agathiyar revealed, “A man shall approach you this evening at 6 pm. Although he would look to you like a vagabond, he is rich and a great devotee of Lord Shiva too. But, he does not have peace of mind. He has left his family. Certain miracles are about to take place in his life after he returns from here.”

Just as Agathiyar had forewarned in the Jeeva Nadi, a man appeared at the Nadi Guru’s house right on time. He could hardly walk straight. The man inquired if the Nadi Guru read the Nadi. He then showed the Nadi Guru a small bottle which he held out in his hand. The Nadi Guru glanced at the label on the bottle. It was a pesticide and was only half-full. He looked up at the man and realized his mouth was frothing.

The Nadi Guru enquired what had happened to him. The man replied that he had consumed the poison. The Nadi Guru felt a chill go down his back. To the question as to why he came there, he replied that he wanted to read the Nadi. 

“What? In this situation?” questioned the Nadi Guru who was visibly shaken.

“Why not? Would not Agathiyar answer?”, the man replied arrogantly. 

When the Nadi Guru asked that he immediately seek medical attention, he adamantly insisted that the Nadi be read. No amount of coaxing would make him leave the place to seek medical aid.

When the Nadi Guru refused to read the Nadi for him, he replied that he only wanted the Nadi Guru to find out from Agathiyar if he would survive or not?

“Just ask Agathiyar this question and I shall be on my way,” he said.

The Nadi Guru who was now greatly disturbed made him sit down and rushed to have his bath and prayer before returning with the Jeeva Nadi. 

Agathiyar revealed a secret to the Nadi Guru. 

“This man is a devotee of Lord Shiva. He came up the hard way in life and made his riches in a very short time. He is married but does not have a child. The relatives used this issue to separate the couple. He left his home some time back without anyone’s knowledge. The families, thinking he had died, are in the midst of dividing his wealth among them. He had traveled to north India and now has sought me.”

Agathiyar added that he would live.

The Nadi Guru told the man that he would survive.

The man replied that he did not believe it and to the Nadi Guru’s horror consumed the remaining portion of the pesticide.

“I have consumed the remaining poison, now how can I survive?” he challenged. 

He was out to prove Agathiyar wrong.

The Nadi Guru rushed to his prayer room again and returned with some Palani Navabasana Murugan Vibhuti Prasad and Sandhana Kappu Prasad that he had. He gave it to the man, asking him to consume the Prasad. Surprisingly the man did as asked and began to leave.

As he left, the Nadi Guru reminded him to head for the hospital immediately to which he replied, “Why should I? Agathiyar has said that I shall survive.”

The Jeeva Nadi Guru could not sleep the whole night long, thinking about what had transpired that evening. He sat for prayers at 3 am and asked to know if the man was still alive. 

Agathiyar in the Nadi replied that he was hale and hearty and alive! He also mentioned that the man was cured of his stomach ailment, which he had had for the past twenty years.

Agathiyar explains further,

“Moving about as a vagabond subjected him to a stomach ailment. He had sought medical attention but was not cured. He seeked out Siddhas in Kollimalai to relieve him. After taking these herbs, he was better but not fully cured. Finally, he came to me. He had strong faith on me. Since he was a devotee of Lord Shiva, I decided to cure him. But he resorted to drinking the poison when he could not bear the stomach pains. The Navabasana Vibhuti Prasad and Sandhana Prasad that you gave him cured him completely. The Navabasana countered the poison and acted as an antidote for his stomach ailment. Otherwise it could have led to cancer.” 

MIRACLES OF AGATHIYAR PART 1 - SAVING A LIFE/ GIVING LIFE

A cow handed over to the Kallar Ashram on the guidance of Agathiyar by an individual was later certified by Veterinarians that it could not get pregnant.  But that cow did give birth to a calf. This miracle is mentioned in the Jeeva Nadi reading at Kallar.

A lady seeked Agathiyar's help and advice through the Jeeva Nadi in possession of the late Nadi Guru of Chennai for her 26 year old son who had succumbed to the drinking habit and addiction to Ganja for the past 7 years. This story was carried in Sri Velayudham Karthikeyan's Siththan Arul on 24.7.2014. The Nadi Guru jumps the gun and assures the lady that Agathiyar shall save her child and begins to read the Nadi. 

On reading the Nadi, Agathiyar tells him secretly that he (the Nadi Guru) has placed him (Agathiyar) in a fix, for the lad's condition was bad and he was on his death bed and there was no way he could survive. Although he said it with good intention, Agathiyar apprehends the Nadi Guru for jumping the gun and promising the lady that all shall be fine without first consulting him (Agathiyar).

Realizing his mistake, the Nadi Guru inquired further from the lady. She relates that she had sought medical care before but while under the care and watchful eyes of the medical team her son was fine only to continue his habit after being discharged from the hospital. 

Coming back to the Nadi, Agathiyar reveals the lad's condition to the Nadi Guru. The lad had developed ulcer and his kidneys had began to fail. "How do you suppose I save him", Agathiyar questions the Nadi Guru. 

But the most compassionate Agathiyar after a few moments of silence continues. He list out some herbs and explains how to prepare and consume them. He asked that the lad take it for a minimum of 48 days. Agathiyar asked that the lady see him again in event the medicine does not work for her son or if he develops complications.

2 1/2 months pass by. 

One day the lady comes running to the Nadi Guru. She informs him that her son had gradually recovered and had stopped his drinking habit. But he had developed jaundice now. The doctors had said that his chances of survival were slim. He was currently being warded at the hospital. 

Agathiyar assured that the lad will survive and asked that the lady sit by his bedside at the hospital and read the Garuda Thandakam, Kandhar Sasti Kavasam, Dhanvantri Gayatri, and chant the Maha Mrityunjaya Japa continuously. 

Agathiyar must have figured that she would not be able to carry out this simple instructions for the most compassionate father lightened her task by saying that if she could not recite these, then she was to place those books at her son's bed and she only need recite her Kula Deivam Japam. "Even if it is wrongly uttered it is fine", says Agathiyar. "The Lord won't be angered if wrongly said or pronounced", continued Agathiyar. 

Agathiyar then addresses the Nadi Guru and reminds him that he (Agathiyar) has decided to save the lad for the sake of the lady and him (Nadi Guru) this once and asked him not to promise such things in the future and not to put him in a difficult position. Agathiyar concluded his Nadi revelation saying that a miracle will take place at the hospital and as a result the lad shall survive.

There was no news from the lady for the next 5 days. On the 6th day upon reading the local daily the Nadi Guru came across a news that the very first blood transfusion was conducted on a lad at the Chennai General Hospital and it was a success. The daily carried news about the same lad whose mother came for guidance. What transpired at the hospital was that a group of doctors had arrived and decided to carry out a blood transfusion for the very first time. The lad was lucky enough that the hospital had sufficient blood of his particular group too. 

Hence the lady's prayers were answered. Agathiyar saved the day, saved the lad, and saved the Nadi Guru too.

BLESSINGS FROM AGATHIYAR

Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal told me many years ago that he would be conducting a massive Yagam to subdue the wrath of mother nature who was playing havoc, retaliating to the blunder and damage to the balance and ecosystem by certain quarters all around the world and as a result the public were in great danger in certain places. 

Tavayogi who had all the while been celebrating the official opening of his peedham on an annual basis, then chose to celebrate Agathiyar's Jayanthi and Guru Puja celebrations. He included the ritual of lighting 5 sacrificial fire pits and this became the highlight of the two day celebration. 

Later Agathiyar instructed him to conduct the Sarva Dosa Nivaarana Maha Yagam where individuals could participate too and gain numerous benefits that included among others, the Yagam would help remove their misfortunes, cure their illness and bring greater fortunes.

Tavayogi has faithfully been carrying out this event without fail and this year it falls on 18 December 2016. Even before the event commences, the devotees at Kallar Ashram begin to gather the much needed muligai or medicinal plants that are placed in the sacrificial fire. These are gathered in the nearby woods and dried before they are placed in the fire to be consumed by the flames. The fumes from the Yagam is inhaled to bring relieve to all illnesses.

Agathiyar has mentioned the auspiciousness of participating in this event in the Jeeva Nadi reading at Kallar and also in my Nadi readings.

This year the Kallar devotees will head for the surrounding hills of Kallar and the hills of Othimalai to gather the wood, stick and plants under the guidance of Siddha Dr Ram Subramaniam of Thirunelvezhi. Devotees and volunteers can join them on on October 9 and 16.

LIFE'S LITTLE LESSONS PART 1 - ITS OK TO MAKE MISTAKES

When I went for my very first Aasi Nadi reading, where Agathiyar summons an individual instead of one seeking him out, Agathiyar through Nadi Nool Aasan T.Ramesh, told me point blank right in the face that I had made several blunders in life but immediately added that it was all his doing too. I needed those experiences too, he quickly added, even before the impact of his words could set a chain of thoughts and bring sadness and a feeling of guilt in me. The most compassionate father went on to pardon me for my mistakes. He asked that I forgive myself too. 

As in the Mission Impossible series, receiving instructions on a recording that then self-destructs after the famous message, "This Message Will Self Destruct In Five Seconds", so did that particular audio recording of mine mysteriously got erased. I only realized that the audio tapered to a hiss, within minutes of play, after I began to play it upon reaching home. On referring the mysterious happening to Ramesh, who was equally taken aback, having not encountered a similar incident in all his lifetime of Nadi reading, he asked me to see him again. He acknowledged that he too could not comprehend what had taken place for there was no likely hood for the audio to be erased. He then refers back to that particular Nadi for a re-reading. Agathiyar surprises me by dropping this revelation and several others mentioned earlier and instead had new messages for me now!

Just has he said he had forgiven and pardoned me, asking me not to carry the burden of guilt with me; he went on to erase his own words in the audio to reflect that he actually meant what he had said. He literally erased my past and the karma associated with it, by actually translating that into action in the physical world!

I understand now perfectly well what he meant then. It is all Erai's play or Lila. You are allowed to make mistakes. If you were perfect, there would be no reason to take a birth. It is because of these small imperfections, what could be associated as results of one's karma, that we had taken this birth. 

Agathiyar says even the greatest of the great saints carry a little bit of karma that gives them a reason to take birth; and carry a little bit of ego, that allows them to continue living in this physical world. One needs to have a certain amount of karma, be it a tiny weeny bit or a massive baggage, to appear on the face of this earth. One needs a certain amount of ego too, be it a small fraction or a Hugh ego, to sustain and continue in the physical form. If one drops the ego then there is no reason to remain further while if one exhausts his karma then there is no reason for him to be born again.

KALLAR ASHRAM IN THE MEDIA

Kallar Ashram which has been in existence for some fourteen years now, has come into the limelight lately, becoming prominent and making headlines via the traditional paper-based and electronic media, more so after its patron founder Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal began to read the Agathiyar Jeeva Nadi for the public.

Agathiyar's directive to promote the Siddha teachings brought Tavayogi to Malaysia and Singapore besides spreading the Siddha path in his home ground. His effort in bringing the 1st World Conference of Siddha Philosophy to Malaysia and subsequently the 2nd to Chennai has to be applauded. Efforts were taken to bring worship of Siddhas to the attention of the public who were already well acquainted with the Siddha system of medicine.

Today, Kallar Ashram has come a long way from its humble start in a thatched shed in the hillock at the foothills of Agathiyar Vanam, at Thuripaalam, Kallar to a proper Ashram/Temple spread over a two acre piece of land some two kilometers away at the Railway Gate, Kallar. The new Ashram/Temple/Meditation Hall complex will be officially inaugurated  on 16 December 2016 followed by the commencement of the annual Agathiyar Jayanthi and Guru Puja, with its highlight, the Sarva Dosa Nivaarana Maha Yagam, on 18 December 2016.

Kalyanakumar Veerapandiyan of Chennai with his team has come forward to spearhead the dissemination of information regarding the Kallar Ashram through the Information Technology media. He has created/hosted several social media to this extent including

As I watch these developments at Kallar Ashram, I am delighted to see it grow right in front of our eyes. My mind races back to the good old days when I was there in the company of Tavayogi and Mataji at the old Ashram, where neither water nor electricity was available. We had to fetch water from a nearby pump, wash and bath at the nearby stream and light a Hurricane gas light at night. One had to cross the railway track and walk up a small hill to access the Ashram. But as the number of devotees who patronized Kallar Ashram began to increase day by day, and having the comfort of these devotees in mind, it was only proper for the Ashram to move to a more easily accessible locality with better facilities.

Many good Samaritans have come forward to make Tavayogi's dream a reality. To all these good souls, AVM and Siddha Heartbeat on behalf of Tavayogi and Kallar Ashram extends its gratefulness. Together we shall help bring the teachings of the Siddhas to the world and strive to become a Siddha ourself.

It is nice to note that this new Ashram has had the blessings of Agathiyar through the numerous Jeeva Nadi readings for the Ashram and individuals who seeked out a reading.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

I was always questioning myself as to why my late father came over to the then Malaya to settle? My father was born in Tamilnadu in a village called Kilsevalpatti bordering Sivagangai-Karaikudi. It is near Pillaiyarpatti and Kundrakudi. He had carried out his money-lending business in Burma, Ceylon, Singapore before finally settling in Malaya.

Agathiyar answered this question recently in the Jeeva Nadi read by Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal while he was in Malaysia. Although I had seen the Kaanda Nadi once and amazingly the Aasi Kaandam some 52 times, I had not had the opportunity to see the Jeeva Nadi till then. When we learnt that our own guru Tavayogi had been blessed with the Jeeva Nadi and had begun reading it for the public at Kallar Ashram we were delighted and overjoyed. AVM family members who visited Kallar Ashram were blessed to have a reading too. Many traveled to India to have their Nadi read by Tavayogi.

Seeing and reading the Jeeva Nadi would be a beautiful thing we thought, but fearing that Tavayogi, as usual, would remark, "Why do you need a Nadi reading?", we hesitated to see the Nadi. But when we were informed that Tavayogi had brought the divine Nadi along with him to Malaysia, we were excited and were mooted to see it, since it was in our home ground, in our soil.

Now then what should we ask? We understood that the seeker needed to prepare questions ahead for Agathiyar to address. I had pretty nothing much to ask for Agathiyar has provided us well. My wife had always wanted to know why she came to the Siddha path? She had never seen the Kaanda Nadi before like everyone else, where it involved leaving an impression of their thumb print and having to answer a barrel of questions before finally picking out the relevent Nadi, with information that closely pertains to them, as theirs. She was instead blessed to have her Aasi Kaandam revealed by Agathiyar to me when I went for a reading, thinking that the reading as usual was for me.

So when Tavayogi was in town with the divine Jeeva Nadi, she asked if she should see it. We then agreed that we need to seek Agathiyar's blessings and advice too on our daughter's choice of study that she was undertaking. We requested for an appointment through Bala Chandran of AVM and stood in line to have our reading. Mataji Sarojini Ammaiyar and Bala Chandran drew up and scheduled the appointments for these readings.

As my wife, daughter and I stepped into the prayer room of the Balachanders' in Bangsar, Agathiyar exposes us saying that we had come under the pretext of seeing the Nadi for our daughter, whereas in actual fact we wanted to hear him speak. Later Tavayogi, Mataji and my family had a good laugh recalling what Agathiyar had mentioned and realized that we could not hide anything from him. 

Agathiyar addressed my wife's question as to the relationship between her and Agathiyar. We had all been living as a family in the past in Kuttralam. My wife and I sold fruits in the vicinity of the Kuttraleshwarar temple. We used to offer Agathiyar the fruits before we started to sell our wares for the day. Our little daughter then two years of age would feed Agathiyar (statue) with these fruits. We lived in poverty then. Since we served him back then, although much in a very simple piety way, through offering these fruits that were picked from the surrounding hills - the most compassionate father decided then and there to provide us a better life in the next birth. Hence we all took birth in Malaysia where we enjoy a comfortable life. Agathiyar coins or terms this country as "Boga Naadu." Now I understand why my father moved to Malaya.

Another couple who frequented AVM too had taken birth in Kuttralam in the past. They had tendered to their herd of cattle and goat near Shenbaga Dewi Temple and had served Agathiyar in his cave. Agathiyar decided then that they should have a better life too and they took birth in Malaysia and were united back as husband and wife with three wonderful kids.

Similarly another devotee of Agathiyar from AVM had a similar reading. She was born in Erode. She had offered flowers to Agathiyar and as a result, she too was born in the Boga Naadu.

Imagine if a single flower placed at his feet or a single fruit offered to him with love could bring the compassionate father to offer paradise on earth, what total surrender to him would do?

When a Chinese lady walked in a haste and in desperation while my wife and I were waiting to have a Nadi reading, we gave in to Nadi Guru Ramesh's request to see her off first. She broke down in front of us the moment she stepped into the room. After a while, bringing herself together, she began to narrate the hell that she was undergoing at her office. Agathiyar only requested her that she place a lotus at Lord Shiva's feet for three consecutive Sundays and asked her for a grace period of ten days to work on her case. All of us asked her to immediately go over to the nearby Ramalingeswar Temple in Bangsar and place the lotus the same day. She did exactly as bid. It was a Saturday. What do you know? When I went back to see Ramesh on Monday again, he mentioned that she had called to say all her problems were solved that morning. Imagine the grace of the most compassionate father acting within three days although he had asked for a grace period of ten days and he did not even wait for her to place the flower for three Sundays before acting. Just placing a single lotus at the feet of Lord Shiva, over the weekend, moved Agathiyar to do wonders.

Agathiyar, when he came over to AVM in the form of a bronze statue, requested that devotees who seek him for a solution to their problems light up and place an earthen lamp at his feet and that he would look into their problems. Many did just that and have come back with positive news and informed us of changes that subsequently took place in their lives. It was indeed heartening and promising to hear that their problems too had been taken care of as a result of placing a single lamp with devotion in prayer.

We at AVM although have not seen him; and although Agathiyar has not shown himself in a physical form; shown his face; nor shown us his presence; but we all do see the numerous wonders and miracles that he performs daily in our circle of family, friends and devotees. It is indeed a blessing to know Agathiyar.

LIVE STREAMING

Siddha Hearbeat & AVM will resume live streaming of Siddha Puja but on a different platform. Streaming on Ustream earlier posed many problems as it was a free subscription that had many limitations. One of it was that it carried advertisements. The streaming was often interrupted by these loud commercials. When the commercial ends, it takes some buffering to resume transmission and at most times the transmission is lost or disconnected for good. Many a times the transmission drops out too for no reason. At other moments there would be video only and no audio and at other moments vice versa. Thinking that the cause was with the USB 2.0 cables I would replace them only to find that the problem still persisted.

We shall now bring you live the Siddha Puja and Acharya Gurudasan's Kriya Yoga Asana Classes and other related events through YouTube. This can be viewed on Siddha Heartbeat's YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/c/ShanmugamAvadaiyappa/live 

The good news is that streaming through YouTube is ad-free, full HD live streaming with adaptive bit rates and DVR. I understand the quality will drop accordingly to the user's fiber capabilities hence enabling one to continuously follow the streaming without extensive buffering, that means YouTube handles and takes care of multiple conversion of bitrates.

While Ustream is a closed system allowing use of their tools only, un-enabling the use of streaming standard software such as Telestream Wirecast, XSplit, or the open-source Open Broadcaster Software, YouTube otherwise enables easy integration with these softwares.

Additionally, YouTube allows us to preview our live stream privately before going on air in public.

Another advantage in streaming through YouTube is that the event is automatically recorded and the video can be viewed on the said YouTube channel once the live streaming ends, while with Ustream I had to have two cameras set up, one to stream live and the other to record and later edit and upload to YouTube. This reminds me of how initially even before I streamed live these prayers, I used to place my laptop in front of Agathiyar and transmit the puja through Skype for Jnana Jyothiamma to watch from the USA. Later, when Valli also from the USA requested to watch the prayers, I had two laptops placed before Agathiyar so that they both could watch.
