OTHIMALAI

Velayudham Karthikeyan gave me a gentle reminder that Lord Murugan's Pirantha Naal will be observed on August 23, 2014. Karthikeyan tells me that the Siddhas come together to celebrate this auspicious day of Lord Murugan at Othimalai, and stay back for 90 days to debate and discuss the next course of action to be taken for the good of humanity and the world. Devotees gathered together at Othimalai on this day will get to have darshans or realize their (Siddhas) presence accordingly to their karmas.

As Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal, Mataji Sarojini Ammaiyaar and my family traveled to Erode last October, Mataji pointed out to us Othimalai and a Murugan temple perched on it and explained to us the significance of this place. She told us that this place was mentioned in the Jeeva Nadi revelation by Agathiyar to a seeker lately, through the Nadi in possession of Tavayogi.

I had read about Othimalai on Velayudham Karthikeyan's blog Siththan Arul earlier at http://siththanarul.blogspot.com/2013/04/blog-post_19.html and http://siththanarul.blogspot.com/2013/09/2013.html. Karthikeyan says one Gurumurthy forwarded a mail where Agathiyar revealed the auspiciousness of this hill temple. Gurumurthy later has commented on Siththan Arul that the revelation was made by Agathiyar through the Jeeva Nadi in the possession of J. Ganesan of Tanjavur and he had picked it up on https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/agathiar

I came across this Nadi revelation on Othimalai with an English translation at Samiappa Palanivelan's blog http://samiappapalanivelan.wordpress.com/2013/05/01/othimalai/ too. Samiappa Palanivelan writes on his experience at Othimalai too.
