SRINATH & SOULFULLY YOURS

I have been following Srinath Raghavan's posts and blog Soulfully Yours for some time now. In fact I have re-posted some of his gems on Siddha Heartbeat earlier. They were so good that they needed to be shared and the messages passed on to others. Similarly today I have compiled more of his writings that bring immense pleasure and makes one ponder on life itself.

Sri runs counselling sessions for the public. Here is what Sri has to say about his service to the public, posted on his fb.
"How can we support Soulfully Yours.?" inquired a well wisher.
"By helping us to support others...!" was the response.
We offer free Holistic Healing and Counseling services to those who can't genuinely afford, to the ailing and the infirm and to Elders who don't have no one to call their own.

You can choose to aid us financially and/or refer to those in need for a paid session and/or share the good word with your friends and family, thus helping us reach and serve more deprived souls.
To give you an insight as to the extend and how people have gained from meeting him, here is a thank you note from one such grateful client.
Here is a heartfelt account of a Daughter-in-Law, who had requested a "Soulfully Yours" session for her bereaved Mother-in-Law. Although I humbly don't ascribe to many of the words used for me, but will nevertheless let it be.
"Human grief has many origins illness, betrayal, suffering, bereavement...the list is endless. To my mind Putra Shokam (loss of child) that comes to parents tops the list. Tears that cant be reasoned with, an emptiness that constantly echoes the futility of the last few decades of your life.

With the passing away of my husband i was in the dumps, but found various ways and support systems to recover some sanity. However silently around me was a Mother wallowing in so much misery that if you looked into her eyes you would cry. I did not even speak to her often because i knew not what to say... two grieving ones, much worse than the other .

Not knowing what to do i turned to Soulfully Yours...Srinath. After a few delays we worked out a session. Delays because i had to prepare her to share her grief and believe that maybe it could even lighten. (Sri cooperated completely by the casual approach of a friend visiting). She had resigned to the rest of her life crying for a lost child.

I am writing this so that the message can go to so many silent grievers that there is a way... the way of the divine... the way of love that heals... and Srinath Raghavan is a true messenger of the divine. At the start all barriers that my mom in law had and all the hesitation she had collapsed with the warm consoling hug he gave her. The mother in her shed all her tears in a moment and from there on the session was smooth. They had connected.

Just by reading her heart he told her about lot of her private loving moments and unfulfilled wishes for her son. He also reminded her about her devout offerings to Lord Rama thru her life and her special relationship with the lord. Her eyes lit up with pride when he mentioned she had another son equally well brought up and who loves her a lot and how she had to live well for him.

He told her she had been a most loving mother and wife and even today it is she who kept the family together. She had been a lovely obedient daughter full of joy and beauty. She was surprised and happy like a little child on hearing all this. Everyone had forgotten the little girl in her including herself and somewhere the joy and beauty had become pain and heaviness only.

They agreed to meet again .She was a little brighter but ready for much more. Nothing can heal like the touch of the Divine Mother and Sri silently does a beautiful job of transmitting Her touch. The divine is always around..round the corner...Address : Soulfully Yours."
May many lives arrive at this address seeking themselves..
Although Sri has posted many interesting pieces on several topics on his page, I have chosen to share some rare gems that brought some enlightenment to me too.
  • The Master used to heal the sick with his Midas touch. Hopeless cases used to line up in thousands at his humble abode, seeking the Master's divine touch. To everyone He would simply smile and touch them on their heads, as a gesture of love. No words used to be exchanged, only silent love passed through the Master. Healing used to happen on it's own accord. Some would get cured instantly of their dis-eases, while others would gain an unknown strength that lay dormant within, to accept their cases without fighting it no more. The Master was not so old, but began to look so quite too soon. He contracted many incurable diseases, but his gift of healing never ceased to be. Despite his failing health He would sit on his favorite chair all day and offer his gift of love to everyone without discrimination. When a few concerned disciples complained to the Master of his own health, the Master smiled and replied, "Someone has to suffer, for the rest to live happily!" Such was the heart of the Master, who died so others could live.
  • When people used to go to the Master, to have their worldly desires fulfilled, He used to laugh and ask, "Today if I grant your one wish, what guarantee is there, that another two won't be born out of it. If two of them are fulfilled, then are you sure, another four won't spring forth from it..."
  • Talk to us on Renunciation? Renunciation is not in letting go of the world, but it's in wholeheartedly embracing it all, as a part of one's own. So when you are no longer a Stranger to none, not even to yourself, the whole World along with all it's inhabitants, become your very own. When everything/one becomes your own, you won't be attached to none, as everything is yours anyway. Whom or what to lose and to whom? In that state of Supreme Oneness, all attachments drop away naturally, to give rise to Universal Love. Renunciation is unbounded love and compassion for all of Creation and the Created, without any reservations. All belongs to me, yet I belong to none! This is the true spirit of Renunciation.
  • They inquired, "What do I need to do, to be happy?" He smiled and said, "Stop doing and start being happy!" ~ Keep Happiness simple and free; else you'll have to "spend" much to achieve it.
  • The hardest of spiritual paths, is one of self-surrender, which no one, expect a very few, have truly dared to walk upon and mastered. When you walk on this path, there is no chance for Questioning, Seeking or Complaining; it's about only experiencing what's planned for you unquestioningly. So when you are fortunate to meet someone, who is on the path of Self-Surrender, don't bother to question them; as providing answers, is not in their spiritual agenda. No Questions + No Answers = Peace!
  • The Master had many illustrious disciples, who were intellectual giants (or at least they thought themselves to be). The Master in order to teach them an invaluable lesson in spirituality once asked, "Tell me about God? One after the other, they gave many scholarly discourses on God. Then the Master asked, "Now tell me who has experienced God?" There was a sudden wave of silence engulfing his disciples, as no one was willing to speak up. That's when the Master spoke up, "When you've seldom experienced what you have spoken, then how much truth is there to it?" They all cast their eyes down in humility. ~ To understand, to know and to realize are different deals altogether. You can understand, but not necessarily know; likewise, you'd know, but not necessarily realize!
  • The Master used to say, "There will be those who will quietly see life through your eyes; so take care, not to scare them, by showing the wrong picture..."
  • The Master used to say, "Steer clear from a Guru, who runs an Organization selling Spirituality. In the end, He/She will help only those, who are capable of helping him run the Organization..." He then used to laugh and say, "The biggest spiritual torture is to get trapped between the Guru and His Ashrama...!"
  • "Why am I unable to earn the grace of the Guru, even though I am walking on the path, for the last so many years?" questioned a Seeker. He smiled and inquired, "Without His grace, do you think, you could have walked on the path for so long?" ~ The grace of the Guru is like the Air you breathe; invisible, subtle, yet always present to sustain life. Just become aware of it!
  • "How to let go of the past?" asked a dear one. "By holding on to the Present!" was the reply. ~ The living Present is the only solution to a dead Past.
  • "What is the aim of Spirituality?" was the question. "It's the process of knowing, what your Soul already knows!" was the answer.
  • Being Spiritual does not mean just to talk about mystical stuff, Of Vibrations or Auras or Angels or something more, It's just to be a better human being than you were before, With Kindness in your Heart and Hope in your eyes, You move on with life with a beaming smile, Sharing the light of your Inner Being freely with others... ~ The need of the hour, are more attuned Spiritual Beings, who can spread Kindness, Compassion, Peace and Love, in this hour of global darkness.
  • Someone inquired, "Have you read Thirumular's Thirumanthiram?" I humbly replied, "No. It's beyond my mortal comprehension!" "Why do say so, as there are so many easy translations available on the Net?" they inquired. "That's not the point. It's because the Author, has put in a year of deep Meditation, in experiencing each of the 3,000 or more odd verses of the book, before he could share it with the world..." was the answer. ~ Some books are not to be casually read; for they are to be meditated verse by verse in deep silence. Even if one verse becomes crystal clear, your entire life will become a blessed testament.
