AGATHIYAR VANAM MALAYSIA (AVM)

Agathiyar Vanam Malaysia (AVM) has grown in its 'membership' with the grace and guidance of Agathiyar.

I came into Agathiyar's fold through reading the Nadi in 2002. Agathiyar came in the form of a bronze statue in 2010. Since then Agathiyar has pulled many souls to his place, blessed them and fulfilled their wishes. Initially I saw it as an intrusion of our privacy for AVM was a home. I had a family to take care and a job too. But Agathiyar kept bringing total strangers to AVM for reasons only known to him. We then prayed that he stop sending them over. Agathiyar listened. Over time he made us realize that he had come to AVM with a purpose. He asked that we step aside and watch. He was 'renting the premises' to carry out his play or leelas. Now it was our turn to listen.

AVM is blessed to receive visitors from Malaysia and abroad. Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal and Mataji Sarojini Ammaiyaar graced AVM in 2005 and made several more visits after that.

Jnana Jyothiamma graced AVM twice, in 2013 and the following year.

Nadi Nool Aasan Ramesh and Selvam graced AVM to participate in the Agathiyar Jayanthi & Guru Puja.

Just as Agathiyar had graced and blessed all those present by opening his right eye in a photo of his, Agathiyar performed a similar feat opening both his eyes in his bronze statue to bless all those gathered for his puja.
