THE SIDDHAS & THEIR NADI

Many have been on the trail of the Siddhas, but very little is known about them, their Samadhis, abodes and their written works. They still remain a mystery. The Siddhas have written and documented extensively on various subjects. Although some of their works has surfaced, but they still remain shrouded in mystery. Some are yet to be deciphered, and many still remain hidden from man.
Lately the Television Networks have joined the bandwagon, searching for Siddhas and anything related to Siddhas - airing them over their channels.

When I was with Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal at his Kallar Ashram in 2005, he found a quiet moment to bring out his massive collection of Nadi or Olai Suvadi that he had. They were of many sizes, length and width. They carried inscriptions that varied from one leaf to another. It was a sight to behold. These were handed to him by many individuals for various reasons. Tavayogi was an ardent follower of the Nadi, Agathiyar having revealed about him, grooming him through numerous Nadi readings, leading him on the path of the Siddhas, eventually to become a Thuravi or mendicant of a nature and stature as at present. Tavayogi showed me a transcript where Agathiyar heals Tavayogi's daughter's broken heart at been separated from the father. Agathiyar consoles the kid that her father has a much bigger mission to carry out. Given the rare opportunity to hold these leaves in my hand, I recalled the last time I saw such Nadi leaves was when I went for my very first Kaanda Nadi reading with Nadi Nool Aasan Sentilkumar of Avinasi who was in Malaysia then.

My very first Kaanda Nadi reading.

The Kaanda Nadi requires that the seeker place his thumbprint sample from which a certain pattern of marks is identified and a corresponding bundle of leaves referred too, singling out the most closest leave that carried the individuals personal particulars.

If the Kaanda Nadi is supposedly written much earlier, the Aasi Kaandam is a gift to devotees who had faithfully listened and carried out Agathiyar's dictates, showering Agathiyar's blessings in real time. Agathiyar blesses his devotee Bala Chandran Gunasekaran in the following Aasi reading read by Nadi Nool Aasan T.Ramesh.

Over the years I was blessed too to receive many similar Aasi Nadi readings through Nadi Nool Aasan T.Ramesh, Kalai and Selvam too.

A devotee who went for a reading of another kind of Nadi, a Jeeva Nadi known as the Gnanaskandar Nadi, was amazingly directed to Kallar Ashram by Lord Muruga to receive Tavayogi's blessing.

Lately Tavayogi had begun to read the Jeeva Nadi too. Letters suddenly appeared in a blank Nadi leaf one fine day at Kallar Ashram. Agathiyar blessed Tavayogi to provide readings to those who came seeking the Nadi for answers. The Jeeva Nadi in Tavayogi's possession addresses the seeker's grouses and answers their questions, in real time, and provides solutions too. Answers appear immediately in response to the seekers thought process and questions.

Sri Ganeshan of the Siddhar Arutkudil too has been delivering Agathiyar's messages for the public, faithfully for some time now. Just as in Kallar, the letters appear in real time, answering questions from the public.

Sri Muthukumara Swamigal who has yet another variation of the Nadi known as the Jeeva Nadha Brahma Suvadi, that was mysteriously formed from a handful of earth from the snake's den,  has been brought into the limelight by a couple of Television networks. The mystical Nadi 'speaks' into the ears of Swamigal, which he then relates to the seekers.

There is yet another interesting mode and style of reading the Jeeva Nadi. Nadi reading made available by a devotee who returned from Courtallam recently.

Hence there appears to be many variations in the way the Nadi is retrieved and a myriad of ways the message is read and delivered for each individual.
