BREATHLESS

As we embark on a series on Yoga to bring a better understanding of its concept, practice and acclaimed benefits, working on watching the breath that would eventually subdue the mind, re-learning to breathe properly, taking long deep breaths, and "feeding" on the prana that accompanies the breath, we are made speechless and brought into a breathless state watching these artists perform on stage. Armed with a single breath they go on for minutes singing these lovable numbers to our astonishment. We learn that it all boils down to practice. So should we keep practicing be it in yoga, in performing rituals, in studies, in performing arts or in singing. We learn that practice strengthens the subconscious.
