MUSIC

After his message through the Nadi reading last night, Agathiyar came through a devotee today and told me that everything there is to be said has been said and blessed us. There was nothing further to say, I guess, because I had figured it all out. My purpose has been made known to me, and I have to live by it. It brings great joy to be a part of his agenda rather than taking up one by myself. It brings great joy to do his work. He surprised me by asking me to play some songs. I played some songs on Lord Siva. I have entertained many who came by my home, playing songs on my home sound system previously. Then Yogi Ramsuratkumar came one Sivarathri night and asked to play again the songs of Sadhu Om set to music and sung by Sriram Parthasarathy. The following year, Bhagawan Ramana listened to these songs played in another devotee's home, going into a state of bliss. This year, during Sivarathri, Ramalinga Adigal hugged and went into a similar state of joy and bliss, asking us to sing his songs. Later, Lord Siva came through a devotee and hugged us all to Adi Sankaracharya's Bhaja Govindam that was played in the early hours of dawn.

Music is the only element that transcends language, race, religion, faith, and belief. Many can take the stage and debate about all these for hours chalenging others and declaring that what they follow was the true path or doctrine. But music hits the chord of love and bliss in everyone, bringing humanity together, which others have split and distanced.

Agathiyar then asked us to share our experiences among ourselves as he sat listening. Then we brought the Satsang outdoors after having our lunch outside. I guess this is what they describe us as doing different.
