If I had posted about the unexpected arrival of dignitaries from the heavenly plane who came to bless all gathered to celebrate Sivarathri days ago, I would now share what they told us.
Ramalinga Adigal told us that the day is not far when we shall all see the light. அனைவரும் ஜோதியினை காணும் நாள் நெருங்கிவிட்டது. A devotee was already blessed with this sight in the forehead between both eyebrows as he had a sleepless night several days ago. The bliss and light stayed on for hours, he told me the following day. Then Lord Muruga came to confirm his state, telling us that he had received what was his to receive. அவனுக்கு உரியது அவன் பெற்றுக்கொண்டான்.
If Agathiyar had asked us and shown us to burn all our worries in the fire of the Homam that he asked to start, அனைத்தையும் அக்னீக்கு இரையாக்கு and Lord Siva and Prapanjam asked that we light the Homam to help her heal at the peak of the pandemic, Ramalinga Adigal asked that we bring the breath to feed the fire pit in the forehead between the eyebrows and sacrifice it to the burning flames, உன் சுவாசத்தை புருவமத்தியில் இருக்கும் அக்னீக்கு இரையாக்கு.
Agathiyar sent each of us into his room to sit and meditate, telling us that we too shall see the light and experience the blissful state of the Siddhas. At each phase of the night, he had us sit in meditation. He was trying his best to have us see the light, too, moving us to sit while he worked on us both before and after each session.
Looking back at what took place, I have come to understand my role as a facilitator and open my home up as a venue for others to go within and see the light, too. I guess this is the message that Agathiyar put across numerous times, telling us to only do what we came for, வந்த வேலையை பாரு.
Just as many languages and writings that were kept close to the hearts of those within certain communities in the past are lost today, and the many findings of the Siddhas too were paraphrased in secrecy, or Paripaasai did no good to mankind, Agathiyar does not want this sad state of affairs and fate to prolong any further. I guess he wants us to share these goodies among us, take the necessary steps, and begin to walk and travel the path of the Siddhas and attain their state. The Siddha state is not a domain of a selected few, but is for all, I believe. Hence, the reason we see saints of the past even defy their orthodox masters who belonged to the old school to bring us these messages.
