I gained a deeper understanding of life and how to live it fruitfully through the Nadi, a medium through which the Siddhas communicate with seekers, believers, followers, and disciples. The Nadi is located based on our thumbprint. After looking at our thumbprints, the Nadi reader picks up several stacks likely to carry our leaf. To determine the seeker's leaf, he or she must then select his or her leaf by answering questions posed by the reader, where the reader reads out portions from it, turning over each leaf in the stack.
Once the atonement for one’s sins is revealed and performed, a new leaf starts. The Siddhas start to guide us. If we surrender unto them, they take hold of us and lead us according to their vision and our mission, and henceforth a new chapter in our lives starts.
The Gnana Kaandam Nadi reading made known the possibilities of spiritual realization that were open and available for me. The choice was also given to me, whether to pursue the direction laid out in those Nadi readings or to turn a deaf ear and go my way. For instance, when I decided to see Tavayogi the night of my second reading, this time from the Aasi Kaandam of Agathiyar, as instructed in the Nadi, returning home, I found to my amazement that the reading was erased mysteriously. Going back for a re-reading, Agathiyar replaced the earlier reading with another, with new contents added, and that revealed much more.
The Aasi Kaandam of Agathiyar was not located from the imprint of the seeker’s thumbprint, as in locating the Kaanda Nadi, but the Nadi reader, asking for the cassette recording of my previous Kaanda Nadi reading, picked up from where the previous Nadi reader left off. It is a revelation by Agathiyar to those sincere seekers who have previously adhered to the instructions stipulated in the Kaanda Nadi. Further revelations come about as a continuation of the earlier Nadi readings, as in the links of a chain.
Then there are the Jeeva Nadi speaking to us in real time. In September of 2006, I was asked to come in for a Nadi reading. As the Nadi reader took some time to make a transcription of the Nadi into a notebook, before reading it to me, something he decided to do since the day the audio of the first Aasi Nadi reading was erased mysteriously, I kept watching Agathiyar’s and Ramalinga Adigal’s portraits in his room. I was suddenly overcome emotionally and started to weep. The reader immediately stopped for a moment and read out the line that he had just transcribed. To my amazement, Agathiyar narrated that moment of my emotional outburst in the Nadi! I cried further as the reader started reading the full text of the Nadi.
During another instance of reading the Nadi, Agathiyar, at the very start of the reading, mentioned that he was happy that I had garlanded him! I was astonished to hear this since I had just garlanded his bronze statue placed at the Sri Karpaga Vinayagar Temple in Brickfields moment ago, before arriving at the Nadi centre! Now I was convinced even further that the Aasi Kaandam was being written in real-time. It is truly amazing.
During another reading, Agathiyar, giving me a lecture for an hour in the Nadi, advised me to manage my anger. After the reading, as my family and I approached our car, I found that someone had double-parked his car beside mine, obstructing me from driving away. It was a Sunday, and there were ample empty parking bays. Honking did not bring its owner running towards his car. I had to finally push it just sufficiently for me to leave my parking bay. I saw my anger rising. It was catapulted further by the midday heat. The heat was unbearable. My family, who had accompanied me, looked towards the sky to see if the Siddhas had fitted CCTV’s and were monitoring every move of mine. They had a good laugh that day at my expense.
Both angry and hungry, we made our way, looking around to have a vegetarian meal when an RJ and a radio personality stopped us and commented on the size of the Bindu, my daughter's adorned on their foreheads. This made me fume further. Agathiyar was monitoring me, watching my thoughts and me, seeing if I would lose my cool! I failed miserably that day!
Not only did Agathiyar call me in for further readings and at times for weekly readings, but he was also so gracious to invite other Siddhas to bless me, too. Therefore, it was that I had readings from Siddha Bhogar, Sugabrahmar, Bhrigu Munivar, Kagabujandar, Pathanjali, and Tirumoolar. I still wonder what I had done to deserve the Siddha’s blessings.
What was exceptionally mind-blowing was when I had extreme pain in my lower back in 2018, which Agathiyar in later years revealed was the result of the awakening of my Kundalini, Lord Muruga came in the Jeeva Nadi, and at the same time and simultaneously healed me coming through a devotee!
Tavayogi, who had cautioned us not to reveal the initiation mantra after giving it to my wife and me and other disciples in 2005 in Malaysia, but as we parted from Tavayogi's ashram in Kallar in October of 2013, told me to reveal it. I understood that the time had come to reveal all things related to the Siddhas, including the Nadi revelations, which I had regarded as personal.
