If Agathiyar sent many youths over to Agathiyar Vanam Malaysia (AVM) since 2013 to watch and participate in the Pornami Puja, learn, and take with them the grace of the teachings of the Siddhas, there were equally many who were sent over by Agathiyar too, who had been elsewhere and with other masters, having taken up other practices. Agathiyar accommodated both those who came empty, as in the former, and those who came full, as in the latter. Those who came empty enriched themselves while those who came full went back bitter after a trashing. But it was for the good of each soul, I came to see and understand. Agathiyar was working on them subtly after removing the veils that covered them. And all this was done without any publicity. It was as if AVM was in the clouds and undiscoverable except for a few. It makes sense now, as Agathiyar told me earlier, that each stranger who stood at my door was someone he had sent. We accommodated them all, people from all walks of life, into our family home.
Agathiyar used my home as a venue to do his work. This home has seen many come and go. He did not hold on to anyone, and similarly, he did not have them hold on to AVM as a center where they would converge forever. Agathiyar gave them the tools and the method and sent them off.
AVM too grew and transformed. With the coming of the youths whom he sent over to watch and participate in our Pornami or Full Moon Puja, we named the home Agathiyar Vanam Malaysia (AVM). What was a Vanam or garden where Agathiyar would occasionally stop over to stroll in the beginning years, soon became Gnana Kottam (GKM) when he came to dispense Gnanam. Then Lord Muruga called it Agathiyar Tapovanam (ATM) when Yoga was taught to these youths. Now Agathiyar calls my home his Peedham, "Guru Muni Peedham" (GMPM) and Karunai Kottam (KKM). We are truly blessed to have earned these recognitions.
Having given the youths many moments to engage in Sariyai and Kriyai, and giving insights into Yoga and Gnanam earlier, AVM shall cater to the kids henceforth. We have called for a day with the kids, having them carry out Homam and Abhisegam or Libation to Agathiyar and Lobama, and Bhajan on 1st May 2026. This is to instill Sariyai, Kriyai in them at a tender age. This shall be followed by a session on Yoga and storytime.
As for where AVM is heading, only he knows, and he is keeping it close to his heart and not disclosing it as yet. And as for me, he is still keeping me under wraps. He wants it that way.
