While many definitions are given about who a Siddha is and how to identify them, in current times anyone who trips and falls dead is laid in Samadhi and claimed as a Siddha. A good orator on the Siddhas is seen as a Siddha. A researcher in this field is seen as one too. Anyone reading about Siddhas can claim to be on the path. Mere reading about them gives a false impression that they are knowledgeable and know them and are one too.
Tavayogi and Mataji beautifully sum up who is a true Siddha. One needs to put in the effort in walking the four phases, namely Sariyai, Kriyai, Yogam, and Gnanam. One does not turn overnight into a Siddha. As Agathiyar said of Gnanam, Siddhahood or joining their Thiru Kootam is not gifted, nor can one have automatic admission into their fold. It has to be earned by working one's way up, traveling through the Chakras. Similarly, the respect and state of a Siddha has to be earned. They have to admit us into their Thiru Kootam. One can never attain the state without their grace. Discipline, patience, perseverance, and finally surrender are the key words to attaining the state, besides their grace.
Just like the Islamic call for prayer, both Tavayogi and Mataji have been calling many to the path of the Siddhas by holding the annual Guru Puja for Agathiyar that coincides with his Jayanthi and traveling to places to preach. I am blessed to have come to the Siddhas and their worship. I am blessed to be guided by my gurus in physical form. I shall be blessed further if they take me in too. According to the last Nadi reading, Agathiyar has hinted at a high probability, while my first Guru, Supramania Swami, told me he saw me among the other Siddhas and Rishis on Annamalai Hill in Thiruvannamalai. I await the day I join Tavayogi, who Agathiyar says was doing his work in their realm, and Supramania Swami, whom Yogi Ramsuratkumar kept beside him, with eagerness.
