I am not an authority on the Siddhas. Neither am I their spokesperson nor spokesman. If my guru Tavayogi took to the stage to preach about the Siddhas and the path after researching about them and making contact with them, I took up writing only the experiences that I gained in this short period of time of some 24 years walking on the path. I felt that the lessons gained from these experiences needed to be shared with those like me some 24 years back, was yearning for information and searching to make contact with them. True enough, many have come by my home seeking Agathiyar and to know about him after having come across this blog, while many more were sent by Agathiyar. I guess my purpose in life is to leave the doors to my home open for seekers wanting to know about the Siddhas. Although much of the Siddhas and their teachings can be watched via the numerous videos online and read in the numerous books available in print and online, it is but always the experience of another.
I am glad that Tavayogi came by to bring me places at the prime of my age of 45. Agathiyar imprinted a lasting image in me. I'm glad that my search has stopped. I am glad that I have been freed of all responsibilities and commitments both for the family and him. I am glad that there is nothing left to be done for the family and him. I am prepared to leave at any moment. But he tells me that there is much he wants and has to do through me. I wonder what he has in mind and what he has in store for me? Is he waiting for someone to come by to assist me in doing something given that my age is now 67? Going through the Nadi readings and the many conversations with him, it seems that way.
Although initially I was moved to build a shrine for him after my very first Nadi reading in 2002, it was dropped when existing temple committees were not willing to part with even a small space in their temples to place Agathiyar's statue. Seeing my silence regarding his wish for a temple too, Lord Muruga sent Agathiyar to convince me in 2018. If Lord Muruga said that he would give me the land, the funds, and people to see it through, Agathiyar told me that he would do it. Later, in 2019 they revealed to me that my home was already their temple and that he had tested me.
When I refused the numerous gifts he wanted to shower on me, like the Nadi for my use and to read for others, and to make me a guru, Prapanjam began to deliver more and more goodies just as Ramalinga Adigal had mentioned.
Tavayogi, who showed me the rituals to bridge both our worlds, brought Agathiyar and the Siddhas into my humble home that took on the name Agathiyar Vanam Malaysia (AVM), Agathiyar Tapovanam, Gnana Kottam, and recently Karunai Kottam and Gurumuni Peedham. There is still talk about moving to a larger premise to accommodate the crowd that is to come I suppose, just as Tavayogi had to move too, this time from Lord Siva. Let us wait and see.
