IN THE BEGINNING

When I was a bachelor, I carried on the family tradition of lighting an oil lamp and praying before pictures of Gods, Goddesses, and deities. I had a carpenter make an altar and placed it in my bachelor's home. I worshiped twice a day, both at dawn and dusk. I read extensively books on customs, traditions, and religion. All these showed God as kind and loving, but when I saw the suffering of others all around me and came to know, through temple deities coming through their devotees, that the Gods had a hand in it, I could not accept and began to question the injustice done to mankind. That was when I was told to pull the brakes and give myself a break, too. Lord Shiva came in a dream and asked to put all the questions on hold. I dropped everything that very moment. I stopped temple visits, home puja, and reading. I married, raised a family, and focused on my career.

Fourteen years on, I found the answers to man's sufferings in a Nadi reading by Agathiyar. In revealing my past karma, Agathiyar explained that all suffering was a result of one's Karma. I could then accept others' sufferings too.  I regreted for all my actions from the past birth and in the past too. Giving me Parikaara or remedies, he showed me an escape route. I took it up and have traveled the path of the Siddhas since, for some 24 years now.

Having taken up the call to follow the path of the Siddhas, one would obviously want to know about them. Besides taking up their worship. I began to read about them. I began to search and sought societies, centres, movements, and associations related to the Siddhas. I learned what I could from them and moved on to worship the Siddhas by myself in the confines of my home.

Guided by my new found Gurus Supramania Swami and Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal, and Agathiyar through regular Nadi readings, both my life and my perspective on life began to change.

If R. Senthil had conducted the groundbreaking ceremony, taking my thumbprint, locating and reading my first Kaanda Nadi, T. Ramesh filled me in further, calling me over and reading the Aasi Kaandam some 56 times, where Agathiyar and other Siddhas provided me with further guidance. When I saw Senthilkumar in 2002, he took an imprint of my thumbprint to enable him to locate my Nadi. However, Ramesh did not do so this time around on 15.8.2005. He played back the tail end of the last reading on the tape that Senthil had recorded. He asked for my date of birth, time, and Lagna. He came back from an adjacent room, bringing a Nadi. It was the Aasi Kaandam of Agathiyar. This Nadi is not located from the imprint of the seeker’s thumbprint, as in locating the Kaanda Nadi, but is a revelation by Agathiyar, to whom he chooses to speak. Throughout the reading, I was in tears. Agathiyar was so kind and generous to me. He pardoned me for my past mistakes, removed the guilt I had carried all this time, saying it was all his doing, and he added that I needed those experiences, too. He accepted me into his circle and blessed me for a better future. Agathiyar told me that the Agathiyar Gnana Peedham in Batu Caves is the place for me to learn about spirituality. I was also told to see Tavayogi that night itself for an initiation, or Diksa or Teecha. Tavayogi had earlier given me an initiation into the mantra of Agathiyar, written on bits of paper, with others, including my wife. Why the necessity to get initiated again? I could have brushed aside and ignored, or delayed seeing Tavayogi. Instead, when I followed the instructions and received Tavayogi’s blessing and initiation from him that very night, what do you know? The reading on tape was mysteriously ‘erased,’ and a new message was delivered subsequently on 18.8.2005. I went back to Ramesh, telling him that the recording had faded after a couple of minutes, and all that was left was the hiss of the empty cassette tape. When the Nadi was re-read to me, there was no mention of the Agathiyar Gnana Peedham in Batu Caves anymore. I figured that the moment I surrendered to Tavayogi, there was no longer a need for an organization. I came directly under the shadows of Tavayogi and the wings of Agathiyar. Besides Kallar and Palani, which were mentioned earlier, the new reading mentioned additional temples and Siddha’s places that I ought to visit - Tiruvannamalai, Vedharanyam, Pothigai, and Courtalam.

I had regarded the Nadi revelations as personal. I only decided to reveal some of its contents after returning from Tavayogi's ashram in Kallar in October 2005. The idea behind sharing them is to make known how simple it is to obtain the grace of the Siddhas through worship to them. What was required of us was attending to their worship; they took care of the rest, including our inner spiritual development and advancement, as well as the family. The Siddhas promised a better future and a silver lining, both in the materialistic and spiritual world. Although I have seen through much of what has been revealed to date, many other revelations are yet to unfold. Only the future will tell.

Another reason to bare it all was when a spate of accusations was thrown at Nadi readers and the Nadi,  labeling them as fake and frauds, ultimately targeting the Siddhas, I could not sit quietly and do nothing, for I had seen the truth in the Nadi and the Siddhas. The accusers stopped short of describing their search to read the Kaanda Nadi and the process of looking for their Nadi, all but once. Nobody spoke about the subsequent readings waiting to unfold if only one had faith and believed the Nadi and the Siddhas. The Aasi Nadi, where the Siddhas call us in for regular Nadi readings, creates, binds, and bonds the relationship with the Siddhas, allowing it to blossom over the years. Just as one must spend a considerable amount of time with the guru, which Tavayogi mentions as being around 12 years, a single visit to the Nadi reader would not provide the true picture. If we are there to test them, they, too, shall play the same game.

I began to write about my experiences with reading the Nadi and posted videos and recordings on YouTube and Podomatic's Podcast platforms, as I had seen and realized positive outcomes and results to the extent that some asked me if I was a Nadi reader myself and had a Nadi in my possession.

In an email to me on July 22, 2011, he wrote, "Hello, my son, how are you? I have noticed all the videos and other web pages that you have uploaded to the web. It's all awesome, and you have done fantastic spiritual work. I am very happy." Late September, he wrote again, "My dear son, how are you? We hope that all of you are well. There is always sage Agasthiar's blessings for you all. It's happy to note that you added some photos to Flickr from indianheartbeat, as well. Spread the power of Agasthiar all over the world, thank you."

During the pandemic, as the Nadi readers returned to India, Agathiyar conveyed further messages through his devotees. Hence, there was always continuity, guidance, and his sight on me without failure or any break. Bringing it all together, I began to get a picture of the path, the journey, and the Siddhas.
