For Suren, this is the third time he is visiting India and the second time he was participating in the Guru Puja. During the first trip to India Suren had followed a devotee of Rengaraja Desigar of Ongkarakudil from Malaysia. He had wanted to go to Kallar after a couple of days at Ongkarakudil in Turaiyur but eventually extended his stay there. Surprisingly he was not permitted to go to Kallar and he spent several more days at Ongarakudil. As arranged, Devathiran who owns a cab company sent his staff to pick up Suren from Ongkarakudil and drive him to the temples where Suren was to do atonement or Parikarams according to Agathiyar's Nadi. He paid his respects at Supramania Swami's samadhi at Tiruvannamalai on my request. He made the effort to visit Agathiyar's Temple at Agasthiyampalli, Vedharanyam too. Suren returned to Malaysia without going to Kallar then.
On his second trip, Suren took public transport and headed straight for Kallar. He participated in the Guru Puja celebrations on 31.12.2012 and 1.1.2013. He befriended Harsha Vardhan and spent some time at Harsha's home in Bangalore. Both of them traveled to Tiruvannamalai and garlanded Supramania Swami's samadhi.
