PUZZLED

Over the past weeks my blood pressure reading took a spike to an unhealthy level, which surprised me, as I always had a perfect blood pressure of 120/80. The results disturbed the doctors too.

I had seeked medication for my fever when I was told that I had high blood pressure and a fast pulse rate. Immediately upon seeing my pressure reading of 169/98 and a pulse rate of 120, the doctor asked that I take an ECG too. The test results showed no abnormal electric activity. The doctor wanted to start me on medication, just a mild dose she assured me. But I talked her out of it. She then asked that I monitor my blood pressure every two days before she decides to put me on medication. I was asked to come in after a few days to take a blood sample to perform a Thyroid Function Test too. Finally she asked me to report back the very moment things get out of hand.

Meanwhile I seeked Dr Krishnan for a second opinion. The Siddha doctor recommended his herbal medicine High Low, a combination of 5 herbs, namely:
  1. Rauvolfia Serpentina, (A compound in it, contains called reserpine, was used in an attempt to treat high blood pressure - https://en.wikipedia.org)
  2. Withania Somnifera, (Ashwagandha is also used as an “adaptogen” to help the body cope with daily stress - http://www.webmd.com/)
  3. Centella Asiatica, (Studies have also shown positive effects on anxiety -  https://en.wikipedia.org)
  4. Commiphora wightii or Guggul, (Improves thyroid function, helps to lower cholesterol and triglycerides, heart protection, decreases platelet stickiness and reduces risk of heart disease and stroke. It has been shown to reduce total cholesterol up to 30% in 3 months. Guggul’s cholesterol regulating properties are especially important in reducing LDL by 35% and increasing HDL by 20% in 12 weeks - http://ayurveda-foryou.com/) and
  5. Termanalia Arjuna, (The arjuna was introduced into Ayurveda as a treatment for heart disease by Vagbhata. Only 5 grams a day works wonders, prevents heart attack, lowers bad cholesterol)
Dr Krishnan consoles me that the pressure rose likely due to lack of sleep.

When I mentioned to my officemates of my new dilemma, one of them recommended a herbal concoction with:
  1. Clinacanthus Nutans Sabah or Sabah Snake Grass, (Lowering cholesterol, lowering high blood pressure - http://www.tea-code.com/) as its main component and
  2. Prunus Armenia or Apricot, (The fruits are enriched with numerous health promoting phyto-chemicals; that helps prevent heart disease, reduce LDL, ("bad cholesterol") levels - http://www.nutrition-and-you.com/)
  3. Graviola or Soursop, fruit of the Annona Muricata tree, (Heart problems, palpitation, hypertension)
  4. Orthosiphon Stamineus or Misai Kucing, (The diuretic effects also explains the traditional use of Misai Kuching for high blood pressure. Modern diuretic medications are often prescribed to treat high blood pressure. The explanation is simple. Reduced water and sodium ions in the blood, lowers the pressure and makes it easier for the heart to pump. In animal studies, the phytochemical Methylripariochromene A was shown to suppress contractions in the thoracic aorta and decrease the contractile force, without significantly affecting the heart beat rate. Laboratory studies have shown that Misai Kuching inhibits 15–lipoxygenase, an enzyme thought to be involved in the development of artery blockage by LDL Cholesterol - http://www.mykucingtea.com/)

After consuming these herbal preparations and continuing with my daily walks and exercise, asanas, pranayama, and Erai's grace my blood pressure returned to a perfect level as before. The blood sample taken to analyse my thyroid function too did not show any abnormality.

The result on 19.11.2015

So that everyone can profit out of it. .. can you please publish it in your blog? I will also send then this article to kaumarapayanam.blogspot.com. So That many readers will come to know about the Siddhas, Muruga and Jeeva Nadi. So that many reader can find trust in the Siddhas and Agathiyar. .. Thank you. (please see attachment)
My experience with the Sri Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi – Part 1
I am a Siddha devotee from Germany. At the beginning of 2015 suddenly I lost my job. I have good qualification but still it was hard for me to find a new job. My life was previously no better, I had to struggle a lot.
After reading several blogs like (agathiyarvanam.blogspot.com, kaumarapayanam.blogspot.com, gnanaboomi.com etc.) I came to know about the Jeeva Nadi. I contacted the Skandar Upasagar to get a Jeeva Nadi reading. Normally it is not allowed to get a Jeeva Nadi reading per telephone. As I was suffering a lot, Lord Muruga and the Siddhas showed mercy upon me.
On 12.06.2015 I get my first Jeeva Nadi reading per telephone. In this reading Lord Muruga gave accurate details about my life. Muruga even told me about birthmarks on my body and the meaning of this marks. He mentioned about a particular mark on my body which was a sign for spiritual life and the Siddha Path. Muruga told me that there are two temples in the city where I was currently living. One was a Muruga temple and the second a Krishna temple. He told me to visit both of this temples. Even I did not know that there is a Krishna temple in this City. I was searching for this Krishna temple. I found an Afghan Hindu temple with a shrine for Krishna. I was wondering how correct and accurate the Jeeva Nadi is. I am living in Germany and the Skandar Upasagar in Tamil Nadu. There is several thousand kilometers distance but still the Nadi is exact.

Muruga mentioned about some health troubles with my stomach I have to face. As it was predicted I had some problems with my stomach for a few weeks.
In the Jeeva Nadi it was told that I had several pictures of the Siddhas and that I have to pray to them regularly. It was also mentioned that Agasthiyar is my Guru and that my Kundalini will awake. I have to chant the Shanmuga Kavasam for 36 Days and that everything will be set alright. In a few weeks I will get the next reading so I have to be patient.
In the next reading I got several new amazing revelation and exact prediction about my new Job...
We shall hear more from this devotee soon.

THE SIDDHA PATH MADE SIMPLE

When one comes for a reading of the Nadi, he would be told that that was the precise moment the Nadi was to be read for him, no sooner nor later. The Siddhas speak about the time and the place. Everything has a time and place. The Siddhas speak about karma that governs every aspect of an individuals life till determining the very moment one would come for a reading. My Tour Agent had taken many to the famed Vaitheeswaran temple for a reading but never found the need to see his at this temple all these years. Only some years back he was prompted by his wife to see Nadi Guru Ramesh for a reading in Malaysia.

The very first revelation after locating one's Nadi would be about one's past life where his or her karma would be mentioned. Knowing one's karma will make one better understand why and how he or she is living the present life, be it one of happiness and harmonious with nature or miserable and in disharmony.

A proper understanding of karma is necessary too, so that remedial actions could be taken to make good the improper deeds committed earlier. Many atonements are given to be fulfilled by the individual. These would involve making contributions and conducting prayers among others. One has to be pleased that an opportunity has been given to at least undo one's past wrongs. With this attitude in mind, if he or she undertakes making donations and conducting prayers, it would help ease one's sufferings.

But these acts of charities has to be done regularly as we tend to accumulate more karmas day by day. The most simplest forms of actions that help disperse and eradicate or lessen the effect of karma are as follows. These needs might differ from person to person. Generally,
  1. The very first atonement would be to start a prayer to the Siddhas thanking them for having spoken through the Nadi. A small donation might be required. This is Nadikku Dhanam, a contribution that goes towards the upkeep and survival of the Nadi Nool Aasan or Nadi Guru, provided for by Agathiyar. After the prayers to the Siddhas one can be assured that he or she has now come under the perview and watchful eyes of the Siddhas. When Agathiyar told me to present a small donation to the Nadi Guru, I did as told without question. A small but simple prayer was conducted, led by the Nadi Guru as a form of thanksgiving for taking me in onto their path. Many are also asked to perform prayers in their own homes too. I was asked to come to the fold of the Siddhas too. My very first Nadi Guru Sentilkumar of Avinashi initiated me into reciting the names of the Siddhas, which I continue till this day. With a portrait of Agathiyar given to me on the same day by Sivabalan, I started my worship of the Siddhas in 2002. Later in 2010 Agathiyar came into my home in the form of a bronze statue, made to certain specifications as dictated by Agathiyar himself through the Nadi. With his statue gracing our home, Agathiyar started us performing libation or abhisegam to him. Slowly a homam or lighting the sacrificial fire pit was included too. Agathiyar says that karma can be removed by performing Yagam and Homam. Today we conduct the homam, libation, and prayers conducted without fail every Thursdays, Pournami and Amavasai days. The prayers are being streamed live on these days, as encouraged by Agathiyar.
  2. The next thing required of one would be to carry out doing dharma and charity, which could be in many forms, the most simplest form being feeding the birds that stop by at one's home. When Agathiyar asked that I feed "pulligal" that meant birds, literally we had birds with spots on their chest, appear mysteriously at our home. Later many other species turned up too. The feeding continues till this day.
  3. One might also need to make donations and conduct charity at specific temples. I was required to make donations to several priests at temples and feed people, which again I did without question.
  4. One would be asked to visit numerous temples to pray for a panacea to all their ills and sufferings. I started on a pilgrimage a year after the reading and successfully covered all the temples mentioned with Erai's grace. Agathiyar was extremely pleased with the pilgrimage.
By being generous and grateful and with the grace of Erai and the Siddhas one sails the river of karma safely.

Saravanan Palanisamy has beautifully summarized karma and the way and means to come out of it in the following prose.

Birth is the fruit of the tree of Karma,
The seed you sowed becomes the present birth,
If you had not sowed the seed would there be a rebirth?,
Seek out Kumban (Agathiyar) for a way or path to break the cycle of birth.

Thus Agathiyar spoke of the ways to end Karma,
Carry out his magnificent Siddhar Puja,
If you forget not to perform Dharma together with Puja,
Karma will evade you and visions shall one gain.

Karma shall foil your very efforts to end Karma itself,
Catch hold of Kumban's feet firmly,
If you are fully satisfied upon having reached Agathiyar's feet,
Its a promise that Pothigai Muni (Agathiyar) will come to envelope you.

THE NEED FOR A GURU

Is a Guru necessary? Can’t one find his own way to God and God realization?

The need for a guru is expressly mentioned in a discourse between God and his servant. When Namdev felt insulted while in the midst of many others, he ran to his Lord to put forth his sadness. Gora had termed Namdev as raw and unbaked earlier, hence having shamed him in the company of many others. This angered Namdev. Namdev and Lord Narayana had a very unique relationship. For Namdev the statue of Lord Narayana that he worshiped came to live. Sulking in front of his Lord, Namdev was disappointed further. To his disappointment, Lord Narayana agreed that what was said at the assembly of great beings of Pandharpur was true. He added that one who is not a disciple of a guru is always spoken of as unripe. Namdev was taken aback by his Lord's appraisal of him as unripe too. He broke down further.

Lord Narayana began to console him telling him that his heart and that of Namdev were one and that there was no duality between them. He requests Namdev to go to a guru, explaining that without the blessing of the guru the sense of duality between god and devotee will never come to an end.

Namdev questioned his Lord, "Why do I need a guru when I have you?" Lord Narayana replies that when he incarnated as Rama he too went to Vashista to gain knowledge on Advaita Vedanta and Yoga. He seeked explanation on the illusory nature of the manifest world and the principle of non-duality.

As Krishna he went to his guru Sandipani Muni.

Hence citing that everyone needs a guru, Lord Narayana further directs Namdev to Jnaneshwar's disciple, Vishoba Khecha to receive further instruction.

Namdev, depressed and saddened makes his way as directed by his Lord to the Shiva temple wherein resides Vishoba. Namdev was in for another surprise as he opened the doors to the temple. Vishoba was fast asleep with both his feet on the Shivalingam! Namdev was angered further for being sent to someone who has the least respect for God. Namdev takes to task Vishoba for insulting God. Vishoba wakes up and grins. He admits that he had made a mistake and request Namdev to help him. Vishoba puts forth his request, "I am so old I cannot move. Please pick up my feet and place them where Shiva is not." Namdev did as told. He picked up both the feet of Vishoba, moved them slightly away from the Shivalinga. As he placed Vishoba's feet on the ground there arose a Shivalinga from the ground. Namdev was taken aback. He then picked up Vishoba's feet again and moved them to yet another spot. Another Shivalingam sprung up from the ground. And so to his surprise wherever Namdev placed Vishoba's feet a Shivalingam materialized. Namdev was bewildered and astonished. Tears streamed down his cheeks. He kept holding on to Vishoba's feet.

Finally Vishoba spoke again, "My son please put down my feet". Namdev refused to let go of his feet. Namdev told him, "Where am I to place your feet for wherever I put them down there I see Shiva. You have made me realize that Shiva is everywhere. Namdev surrendered to his new found guru Vishoba. Vishoba placed his hand on Namdev's head and Namdev immediately went into a state of samadhi. Namdev saw in his heart Vishoba was indeed Lord Narayana, that his guru and his beloved Lord were one. He realized that there was no difference between God and himself. He realized that his Lord was beyond the idol and images in the temple and was now all pervasive. Namdev experienced Gods presence in all.

The above tale of Namdev is based from a story posted at http://www.siddhayoga.org/mahashivaratri/namdev-story

Another similar tale is told of a disciple and his guru. This tale has been posted numerous times on Siddha Heartbeat but its a tale worth telling again and again.

Once when Guru Namashivayar was fanning his master, he began to hit his side with his hands. The master asked his student what he was doing. Guru Namashivayar replied that he was putting off the fire that was engulfing the curtain at Chidambaram (temple). On another occasion the senior Namashivayar told his student to dispose off his vomit in a place where no one would step on it. Guru Namashivayar figuring that there was no safe place, drank his master's vomit. When he returned, his guru asked him where he disposed the vomit. Guru Namashivayar pointed to his stomach. When Guhai Namashivayar realized that his disciple Guru Namashivayar had himself attained a status at par with him, that of a guru, he had him leave Thiruvannamalai for Chidambaram. But the junior Namashivayar refused to budge. He instead pleaded to his master to reverse his directive, allow him to continue staying with him, having a daily darshan of him and serving him forever. Realizing that Guru Namasivaya was very much attached to the physical form of his, Guhai Namashivayar told him, "If the Lord there gives you darshan even as I do myself, stay there. If not, come back here." Only after hearing this from his guru, Guru Namashivayar agreed to leave for Chidambaram. True to his guru's words when Guru Namashivayar arrived at Chidambaram temple, he saw his master's form in the Shivalingam and remained at the temple henceforth.

THE COMPASSIONATE MASTERS PART 2

A young lad stood in front of the Jeeva Nadi Guru hoping for a solution to his dilemma. He had accumulated excessive debts. The lad was employed as an Engineer with a software company. His monthly salary was just sufficient to service the interest on these debts. He seeked Agathiyar and the Nadi for a way out of his financial problem.

When asked how he had landed in this mess, he said he had a desire to amass property and money since young. He had succumbed to a scamp by a foreign company that promised him a very large amount of money. Upon responding to the offer, a man and a woman approached him, showing a cheque for the promised amount made out to the lad's name. But there was a condition laid on him. He had to come up with a certain amount upfront before the cheque would be delivered to him. They promised to return that amount too.

As he had to come up with the said amount of money in a week's time, the lad convinced his parents and brother to sell all their jewellery and their land. As it was yet insufficient, he sold his father's house too. He then borrowed money too. All these was not sufficient. After a week he had yet to come up with the said amount. He then met the couple. As he could not gather the required amount they gave him a grace period of another 10 days, taking the amount that he already had on hand. Eventually after a month he managed to trade off the balance with the cheque. When he deposited the cheque into his account the cheque bounced back. He realized the cheque was a dummy and it was all a hoax and the company did not exist. Realizing he had been tricked he tried to commit suicide twice. But he survived both attempts.

The Jeeva Nadi Guru asked Agathiyar for guidance through the Jeeva Nadi. Agathiyar gave the lad a piece of his mind.

"This lad due to his desires took the shortcut to richness by adopting a wrong path. He should have consulted with others before taking this move. Agathiyar refuses to acknowledge this weakness on his part as fate or destiny. His greed is the reason his family and he are in this mess. His younger brother had to leave the home because he could not face the shame brought on by his brother. He is supposed to have committed suicide too, according to the villagers, right?" Agathiyar reveals further. His parents too will eventually end up with the decision to end their life's, unable to stomach the shame. But the most compassionate Agathiyar says his parents should not be penalized for his mistakes, and decides to to help them. Agathiyar shows him a way out of his financial problem.

Agathiyar directs him and his parents to go on a pilgrimage of all the six abodes of Lord Muruga. Agathiyar assures him that during this journey of his, a miraculous incident will take place. The lad was asked to return to Agathiyar once he was back from the pilgrimage.

But the lad said he had no more money on him, even to go on the pilgrimage, much more take his parents along. The Jeeva Nadi Guru assured the lad to have faith on Agathiyar and he shall show the means and a way.

After two months the lad appeared again as instructed. He told the Jeeva Nadi Guru that he had just returned from the pilgrimage the day before. He disclosed what had taken place during the pilgrimage. Before starting on the pilgrimage, as he needed money to travel with his parents, and since no one came to his assistance, he prayed at the Vadapalani Murugan Temple in Chennai for guidance. Thats when he passed out. On opening his eyes he saw a bag near him. Inside the small bag was jewellery. As no one claimed it, he thought it was Lord Murugan's answer to his prayer and took possession of it. He pawned it for cash and made the pilgrimage, promising to redeem and return the jewellery to the donation box at the temple once his woes were over. At the last leg of his pilgrimage a very wealthy stranger came up to his parents and asked if the lad would marry his daughter. The stranger explained that as his daughter was a victim of polio, no one wanted to marry her. The lad agreed. He had settled all his debts and was now living a satisfied life. He was seeking Agathiyar's advise if the decision he made was right. Agathiyar in the Nadi blessed him.

Agathiyar scans through every person's past to reveal them and then suggests ways and means to make right his/her wrong doings, offering a way out of the predicament they are in and offering an opportunity to change for the better. These are the ever compassionate Sidhas. This revelation by Agathiyar posted on Siththan Arul by Velayudham Karthikeyan Aiya, the original in Tamil, serves to warn and caution us about greed and its repercussions too.

In another revelation, the blind gets Erai’s Darshan. The most compassionate father, Agathiyar arranges for a blind lad to see Erai.

A 22 year old lad walked all the way from Karnataka to Chennai, seeking Agathiyar’s blessing to make a pilgrimage to Nepal, Badrinath, Mukthinath and to bath in the holy waters. Agathiyar blessed him mentioning that all that he wished for will materialize. He added that exactly 45 days from then the lad would receive a flute. He shall learn to play the flute and with Goddess Saraswathi’s blessing he will master the flute and make a living playing tunes. After a year he shall have sufficient money to take the train to fulfill his wishes. Agathiyar added that he will receive Erai's Darshan on the banks of the Kandagi river in Nepal in the early morning hours of a Thursday. Agathiyar assured him that he will be with the lad and after the Darshan his life will change for good.

After 2 years 4 months the lad came back to the Jeeva Nadi Guru. He reveals what had taken place during that time. While sleeping on the platform a young girl woke him up and placed a flute in his hands. She blessed him that he will master the flute in nine days and left immediately. The lad felt the presence of someone guiding him to play the flute. He put much effort into the practice as he was instructed mysteriously. As he was wondering who could be the one guiding him he saw a luminous figure that fitted the description of Agathiyar. The Muni was short with dark beard, fair skin, a drinking vessel or kamandalam in his hand, and hair tied up neatly. The Muni spoke, mentioning that he was the one who tutored him. The lad believes it was Agathiyar himself. Then he ask the Muni, “Who had given the flute to him?” “Saraswathy,” answered the Muni. The lad said he had never seen the image of Agathiyan or Goddess Saraswathy as he was blind since birth. The lad added that he was blessed to have had the Darshan of Erai while bathing in the Kandagi river in Nepal.

In another episode from NADI SOLLUM KATHAIGAL, the ever compassionate Siddhas stage a play whereby mankind benefits.

“I make much money but can’t seem to keep some aside. All I earn is spent on medical expenses and purchasing medicine. Only Agathiyar can save my family,” with these words a man stood before Hanumathdasan.

“What are your medical problems,” questions the Jeeva Nadi Guru.

He began listing them out. “My mother’s kidney has failed. My father has diabetes. My eldest son has an eye problem. My daughter has asthma. My third child has a growth on her neck.”

He asked to see Agathiyar’s Jeeva Nadi for a single medicine that would cure all these problems; the medicine should not cost much and be affordable. His request surprised the Jeeva Nadi Guru.

“Could there be a single solution to all these people’s illnesses?”, wondered the Jeeva Nadi Guru.

But the man insisted that Agathiyar would help him as his family worshipped Agathiyar.

When the Jeeva Nadi Guru ask if he had looked into other options like Sidha medicine and astrology, he mentions he had seen them all but yet he could not find a solution and a way out of his karma.

In the Nadi, Agathiyar directs him to Bhogar, Korakar and Tirumular as they have attain a high standing in the medical field.

The man replies that he had seen Korakar’s Nadi. He had done a yagam with the aid of Tirumular’s chakra. But there was only slight improvement. These Nadi’s mentioned that all the relevant solutions were in Agathiyar’s Nadi.

He continued with another requests, that astonished the Jeeva Nadi Guru again. He said his aunt has had one of her breast removed due to cancer and wanted Agathiyar to replace it. Seeing that his request had angered the Jeeva Nadi Guru, he was willing to drop his last requests. But he insisted Agathiyar reveal one medicine for all the illnesses mentioned earlier.

Agathiyar now reveals that the man who stood before the Jeeva Nadi Guru was Kollimalai Siddhan. Agathiyan reveals that Kollimalai Siddhan and he go back five generations. He had been under Agathiyar’s tutelage learning medicine from him. Agathiyar had made a promise to him in the last birth and he had come to claim it. “I shall reveal 128 herbs to be made as a herbal preparation for the good of mankind. The Jeeva Nadi Guru corporated with Agathiyar by not disclosing what had been mentioned in the Nadi, instead ask the man to jot down all the names of the herbs that are mentioned by Agathiyar. As Agathiyar mentioned the names the man noted it down. Agathiyar mentioned the proportions and how it should be prepared and consumed. He mentioned that it was a wonder drug for all illnesses.

The man thanked Agathiyan and asked to be excused for a moment. He left the note and walked out never to return.

When the Jeeva Nadi Guru seeked Agathiyar for answers to the weird game that was played before him, Agathiyar replied that this is their play or Thiruvilaiyaadal for the benefit of mankind.

In another episode Agathiyar seeks the home of a man to relieve him of his miseries.

Agathiyar out of the blues, in a rare act, instructs the Jeeva Nadi Guru to pass the Jeeva Nadi that was in the Jeeva Nadi Guru's possession to one Ramamurthy in Mylapore, Chennai, to be kept for three days at his home. There were times in the past where Agathiyar had wanted the Nadi to be place at certain temples for a short period, but never before had he instructed to pass it to another individual. The Jeeva Nadi Guru was instructed to leave for Kabhaleeswarar temple immediately. He was ask to sit at a particular spot and facing a particular direction at the temple. Agathiyar mentioned how to identify Ramamurthy. Just as told Ramamurthy came along. The Jeeva Nadi Guru after confirming it was him passed the Nadi to Ramamurthy.

Ramamurthy asked the Jeeva Nadi Guru to read from the Nadi, with disinterest and without any concern at all. Agathiyar instructed Ramamurthy to keep the Nadi in his prayer room at home for three days and to worship it. He was to conduct a yagam too. “It is very necessary and has to happen immediate too”, stressed Agathiyar to him with an urgency. But Ramamurthy started giving reasons, not to except the Nadi. “I have to leave for my village,” he started. Agathiyar replied that he could take it along with him and added that for whatever reason he had to leave for his village, the task shall take place even without him leaving his home, the same night. Then Ramamurthy came up with another excuse that he had a prior engagement and that he had accepted to perform a Chandi Homam. Agathiyar spells out the Chandi Homam Ramamurthy had planned to hold at his home would not take place. After a moment of thought, Ramamurthy started giving more excuses. He had a mother who was battling with life and a daughter who had separated from the husband at his home. He had a son who disliked him performing Homam at home. As hiis son was an atheist, he feared that he might destroy the given Nadi. Agathiyar refused to speak through the Nadi any further. The Jeeva Nadi Guru forcefully handed the Nadi to the priest having arranged to meet him at the same spot in three days time. Ramamurthy reluctantly took the Nadi as the Nadi Guru left.

The Jeeva Nadi Guru was wandering why Agathiyar had wanted to pass the Nadi to Ramamurthy, a non-believer and a difficult character in the first place. Although disappointed that he had to part with the Nadi and then to someone like Ramamurthy who did not appreciate or value the Jeeva Nadi, the Jeeva Nadi Guru reassured himself that there was always a reason behind Agathiyar’s actions. Now that the nadi was not with him, the Jeeva Nadi Guru decided to leave for Tirupathy. There he accidently met Ramamurthy. Ramamurthy on seeing the Jeeva Nadi Guru fell at his feet. Ramamurthy, after gathering himself up and composing himself, reveals that if it was not for Agathiyar’s Nadi he would not be alive that day. Ramamurthy goes on to explain that he had come to Tirupathy by car to perform the Kalyana Ursavam as atonement for his daughter who was separated. After one of the tire the car he traveled in burst and the car went out of control, hitting a light posts, it had burst into flames. By Agathiyar’s grace his family survived the crash and flames. They managed to perform the Kalyana Ursavam and were on their way out.

The priests was in the midst of performing the Chandi Homam earlier, before leaving home for Tirupathy, when a fire broke out due to a short circuit where the wires caught fire. Yet again Agathiyar saved them.

On the third day as arranged the Jeeva Nadi Guru was back at the Kabhaleeswarar temple to collect the Nadi from Ramamurthy. With Ramamurthy was his 40 year old son, Manikanden. His son was a loafer but there was a drastic change in him now, mentions Ramamurthy. Manikanden fell at the Jeeva Nadi Guru’s feet and professed that from that moment onwards Agathiyar was his guru. Ramamurthy's mother who was bed ridden could now walk too. He reveled at the doings of Agathiyar. He wept in joy saying that he and his family were indebted to Agathiyar forever. Only today he saw the light of the day after having suffered for the past 40 years.

The Jeeva Nadi Guru had so many questions that Agathiyar had to answer. He read the Nadi at that spot. Agathiyar reveals that Ramamurthy was his devotee in the last birth. He had done much service to Agathiyar, but due to his past karma he had taken this birth and had gone through hell. Although faced with all kinds of torture and sufferings yet he kept chanting Lord Shiva’s mantra. Agathiyar reveals that he had been at Ramamurthy’s home chanting so that Ramamurthy’s mother should live longer. Lord Dhanvantri eventually submitted to Agathiyar’s plea and his mother was saved. She shall leave another 14 years to a ripe old age, disclosed Agathiyar.

Agathiyar adds that this was the first time he (Agathiyar) had gone to the home of a mortal to chant and seek that their lifespan should be extended. Agathiyar says she deserves it for she had prayed hard. Although fate had planned that Ramamurthy should lose his life while on the way to perform the Kalyana Ursavam, Agathiyar had to step in, otherwise the Jeeva Nadi too would have been lost forever. Agathiyar went further to reveal that he had brought the very much sought out change in Ramamurthy’s son too. Agathiyar worked on Ramamurthy's son-in-law too. “He will be a changed person in three months time,” assured Agathiyar.

Agathiyar assures in the Nadi that in the future he (Agathiyar) will settle in many homes and help humanity cope with their problems.

THE COMPASSIONATE MASTERS PART 1

A story of Geshe Chekhawa, one of the greatest masters of Tonglen or "giving and receiving" in Tibet, is told by Sogyal Rinpoche in his "THE TIBETAN BOOK OF LIVING AND DYING".

"Although Geshe Chekhawa taught Tonglen far and wide", Sogyal Rinpoche writes, "he himself never ceased to practice it."

Toward the end of his life Geshe Chekhawa told his students that he had been praying fervently to be reborn in the realm of hell so that he could be of some help to all those suffering in that realm. Although he very much wanted to be born in this realm, he had visions that he would be reborn in the the higher realms of the buddhas. This disturbed and disappointed him. He begged his students to pray that he should be born in hell so that he could fulfill his yearning and wish to help those suffering.

Similarly a tale is told of Sri Ramanujar. Ramanujar was approached to take up the role of an acharya at Srirangam. Before taking on the appointment, he was sent by his guru Mahapurna to seek knowledge of the 8 syllable mantra, from Tirukkotiyur Gosthipurna. Gosthipurna turned Ramanujar away 18 times before finally passing on the mantra to him with a note of caution that Ramanujar should not disclose the mantra to anyone, otherwise he would go to hell. But the all compassionate Ramanujar, now filled with ecstasy upon receiving the mantra, immediately climbed the steeple of the temple and proclaimed to the large gathering of people that he had found the way to attain Moksha or liberation through the great Mantra bestowed on him by Gosthipurna and invited those who sincerely wished to follow him to be initiated into the mantra too.

Gosthipurna who had forbade Ramanujar to disclose the given teaching to others, was enraged and demanded Ramanujar to explain his actions. Ramanujar answered that he was glad to go to hell as a result of not adhering to his gurus wishes for the sake of humanity. He added that he could save them from the web of maya through his clarion call of wake up from deep slumber - Om Namo Narayanaya.

Gosthipurna was overjoyed and embraced his disciple for his exemplary compassion towards his fellow men.

The Buddha who accidentally saw the sick and the old, when he stepped out of the palace grounds, then left the comforts of the palace to embrace a journey of discovery and enlightenment, going through many trials and tribulations, eventually becoming the enlightened one, thus paving the way for compassion and love to flow in the heart of humans to come.

Buddha was shown a thousand faces of his that he had taken and was surprised to be shown another thousand that he would take for the sake of saving humanity.

Ramalinga Adigal's compassion goes beyond bonds too when he sheds tears upon seeing the very grass droop over under the heat of the day. He told his followers that he would be back before merging with Arutperunjhoti.

The enlightened ones choose to be reborn again and again to help guide their fellow mates to the kingdom of god.

Agathiyar too has been compassionate many a time, towards seekers who came for a remedy or a solution to their illness and problems.

A lady seeked out Agathiyar's Jeeva Nadi to help her 26 year old son come out of his drinking habit and addiction of 7 years to ganja. The Jeeva Nadi Guru assures the lady that Agathiyar shall save her child and begins reading the Nadi. Agathiyar reveals secretly that he (the Nadi Guru) has placed him in a fix, for the lad's condition was bad and he was nearing his death and there was no way he could survive. Agathiyar apprehends the Nadi Guru for going over board and promising the lady that all shall be fine.

On inquiring, the lady told the Nadi Guru that she had sought medical care. While under the care and watchful eyes of the medical team her son was fine but continued his habit after being discharged.

Agathiyar reveals the lad's condition to the Nadi Guru. The lad had developed ulcer and his kidneys had began to fail. "How do you suppose I save him", Agathiyar questions the Nadi Guru. But the most compassionate Agathiyar after a few moments of silence continues. He list out some herbs and explains how to prepare and consume them. He asked that the lad take it for a minimum of 48 days. Agathiyar asked that the lady see him again in event the medicine does not work for her son or if he develops complications.

2 1/2 months pass by when one day the lady comes running to the Nadi Guru. She informs him that her son has gradually recovered and has stopped drinking, but he has developed jaundice. The doctors have said that his chances of survival were slim. He was currently being warded at the hospital.

Agathiyar assures that the lad will survive and asked that the lady sit by his bedside at the hospital and read the Garuda Thandakam, Kandhar Sasti Kavasam, Dhanvantri Gayatri, and chant the Maha Mrityunjaya Japa continuously. The most compassionate Agathiyar ask that if she could not recite these, these books be placed at his bed and to recite her Kula Deivam Japam. "Even if it is wrongly uttered it is fine", says Agathiyar. "The Lord won't be angered if wrongly said or pronounced", continued Agathiyar.

Agathiyar then turns to the Nadi Guru and reminds him that he (Agathiyar) has decided to save the lad for the sake of him (the Nadi Guru) and the lady this once. He asked him not to promise such things in the future and not to put him in a difficult position. Agathiyar ended his Nadi revelation saying that a miracle will take place at the hospital and as a result the lad shall survive.

There was no news from the lady for the next 5 days. On the 6th day upon reading the local daily the Nadi Guru came across a news that the very first blood transfusion was conducted on a lad at the Chennai General Hospital and it was a success. It was conformed that the daily carried news about the same lad whose mother came for guidance.

What transpired at the hospital was that a group of doctors arrived and decided to carry out the blood transfusion for the very first time. The lad was lucky enough that the hospital had sufficient blood of his particular group too.

Hence the lady's prayers were answered. Agathiyar saved the day, saved the lad, and saved the Nadi Guru too.

When the Jeeva Nadi Guru, one day, requested Agathiyar to reveal about any temple associated with him (Agathiyar), Agathiyar immediately chose to speak about his temple at Panchesti.

At one time in the past, when Agathiyar was in deep meditation, an Arakan (Asura) with his family fell at his feet. Surprised to find an Asura at his feet, Agathiyar through his wisdom eye, comes to know about him. He was Sukethu. He had to take birth as an Arakan due to his past karma. Although born as an Asura, he was honest. He used to worship Lord Shiva all the time. As a result the other Asuras gave him a lot of problems and disturbed his family and him. Agathiyar wanted very much to save Sukethu and his family and gave it much thought.

Agathiyar realized that conducting a yagam or lighting the sacrificial fire was the only way to remove Sukethu's Dosa and confer on him the state of Mukthi. Agathiyar decides to conduct 5 kinds of yagam, namely : Deva yagam, Brahma yagam, Bhoota yagam, Pithur yagam, Maanuda yagam.

Agathiyar also knew that the rest of the Asuras will disrupt and not allow this yagam to be carried out. While figuring a way out, Agathiyar receives a pleasant visit from Goddess Umaiyaal.

Goddess Umaiyaal tells Agathiyar that she had heard about his intention to perform the yagam from Lord Shiva. She adds that she did not have an opportunity to witness one and asked that he allow her to witness the yagam.

Agathiyar explains to Goddess Umaiyaal that all this while he had been conducting yagam for the Devas and his disciples to remove their Dosa. Now he is about to carry out a Panja yagam, for the very first time, for the sake of Sukethu and his family. Saying thus, Agathiyar gives Goddess Umaiyaal the privilege to choose the spot where this yagam shall be held. Agathiyar requests that Goddess Umaiyaal should ensure no harm comes from the Asuras during the whole duration of the yagam. Agathiyar also requests that Lord Shiva should take form and appear in the yagam.

Agathiyar also tells Goddess Umaiyaal that on completion of the Panja yagam he will continue with the Sathru Samhaara yagam on Lord Muruga's instruction and supervision. "The Sathru Samhaara yagam too will be conducted for the very first time", adds Agathiyar. "This yagam would help lessen the troubles of man who has to face jealousy, objection, and torture."

Goddess Umaiyaal blessed Agathiyar and named the place where these yagams were to be conducted. The place came to be known as Panchesthi. Agathiyar on his part told Goddess Umaiyaal that from that day forth she will be known as Anandhavalli Thaayaar.

Just as foreseen, the Asuras came to cause trouble and disrupt his yagam, but Goddess Umaiyaal destroyed them all. Agathiyar victoriously completed the Panja yagam and the Sathru Samhaara yagam. Sukethu and his family members attained release from their curse.

Agathiyar reveals an amazing happening during a yagam at Sathuragiri too. He instructs the Jeeva Nadi Guru that a yagam be conducted in Sathuragiri under his (Agathiyar) supervision. Agathiyar indicates the day and time and the materials to be placed in the fire pit. He also handpicks certain individuals for the task. To ensure their safe journey to and fro from Sathuragiri, Agathiyar arranges for Sattaimuni and Ramadevar to accompany these devotees.

Agathiyar is himself surprised to find Lord Brahma appear to initiate the Fire ritual with the famous sloga SUKLAM BARATARAM of Lord Vinayagar. Besides Brahma, Agathiyar says, the yagam was graced by Lord Vinayagar, Lord Murugan and the Devas and all the 18 Siddhas.

Agathiyar reveals another surprise. Lord Shiva had appeared in his Vishwarupa form in the early morning hours. Agathiyar reminds us that Sathuragiri was the place where Lord Shiva had taken that majestic form to destroy the Arakans through the means of his third eye. This episode happened some 4,000 years ago at Sathuragiri. Hence from that moment on these Arakans did not move into Sathuragiri again. Agathiyar adds that these Arakans are present in all the hills. These Arakans will try their level best to distract and divert the attention of aspirants and those on the spiritual path. But the most compassionate father says let it be, the Arakan are after all carrying out their job. He says their nuisance at Sathuragiri ended 3247 years ago, after a particular yagam conducted some 3247 years ago at Sathuragiri by Kagabujandar. After that yagam, Agathiyar conducted the same yagam some 1857 years ago. All the Munis, Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma, and Lord Vishnu participated in it.

On another occasion some 727 years ago when a similar yagam was conducted, Lord Shiva, Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu did not participate. The Siddhas conducted the yagam. All the Devas and Asuras were present.

Agathiyar reveals to the Jeeva Nadi Guru that after all these years this rare yagam was now been conducted by them at Sathuragiri, under the governance and supervision of Agathiyar.

The ever compassionate Agathiyar, called these devotees over to Sathuragiri for the sole purpose of removing their Karma (Dosa) gathered over the past three births, and wrongs done knowingly or unknowingly in recent times. Those who have gained Agnidevan's blessings are rid of ill effects (Thetthu) and no sins (Pavam) shall befall them for the next 12 years.

For those devotees who appreciated this yagam, Agathiyar promised to gift them by indicating the Taila Kinaru or Oil Well, where just a drop of that oil smeared on the body shall gift the person to live 400 years.

Upon successfully conducting the yagam and returning home Agathiyar mentions in the Jeeva Nadi that Siddha Ramadevar and Sattaimuni accompanied the entourage of 50 people to Sathuragiri on his command. He mentions that Bhogar and Sattaimuni too had apart to play. Sattaimuni had hugged and ushered the devotees personally, the very moment they arrived at Sathuragiri unaware to these devotees. Agathiyar reveals that Bhogar came running asking if he could assist in the yagam. He asked that Bhogar bless all those who came at the instruction of Agathiyar to Sathuragiri with a good life. Agathiyar reminds us that they were fortunate and it was an honor that a Siddha was on hand to greet and lead them and cared for their safety. These were events not visible to the public, adds Agathiyar.

Agathiyar most graciously reveals that he shall conduct another yagam witnessed by Lord Brahma for those who were invited but missed out, in the near future.

The Nadi is a gift from the most compassionate Siddhas to mankind. Velayudham Karthiyen Aiya’s blog entry in SITHTHAN ARUL, brings us back to time immemorial where the Siddhas, being compassionate and kind, put forward to God or Erai as Agathiyar wishes to address, their wishes for humanity. The Siddhas had wished that whoever seeked them out for solutions to their problems and surrender to them, they shall be pardoned for their past deeds, however bad and evil they may be, and shall not be put through the trial and tribulations and will not be made to face the consequences but instead be saved. Erai granted the Siddhas their wish.

The next instant the Siddhas wrote down: the reasons for each individual’s sufferings; listed out solutions and remedies; and showed ways and means to overcome or end the seekers problems, sins, diseases, illnesses and sufferings. They wrote them in Tamil prose on dried palm leaves. This writings came to be known as the Nadi. It has been written by Siddhas for us to know about our past, the present and the future. Many have corrected their lifestyle after listening to the explanations, heeding the instructions and carrying out atonement. Many more had regained their health and peace of mind.

In another post, Brahma confronts Agathiyar, "You are asking me to go easy on too many devotees. It would take not less than 10 years to seek out their Nadi or olai suvadi and make changes to their fate. If you keep on recommending that I save them by changing their fate, who is going to repay their deeds and karma. Do we not need to punish them for their karma". Thus Brahma questions Agathiyar.

Agathiyar speaks his mind telling Brahma that he believes all should be saved, and that their fate should be changed. Thus Agathiyar asked that Brahma increase the workforce so that these changes can be hastened. Brahma says that he cannot stop a particular incident from happening but can reduce the repercussions or effects as a result of that event. Agathiyar pleads to Brahma to change the karma of all those who came seeking him (Agathiyar) as he had given his word to them. Brahma finally gives his word and promises that he would not harm any of Agathiyar's devotees.

As seen above, the ever compassionate father Agathiyar goes all the way to save his devotees if they approach him with sincererity, faith and belief. Agathiyar never lets down his devotees who seek his guidance and advise. Agathiyar presents their cases to the higher authorities which includes appealing, pleading, bargaining and in worst situations confronting the Gods for the sake and well-being of his devotees.

The magnitude and extend of Agathiyar's influence in alleviating the effects of Karma by coaxing the God's to compromise and come to a deal, and to mete out less severe penalties, and at times save a life too, is seen when one reads Agathiyar's revelations to the late Jeeva Nadi Guru of Chennai and the seekers of the Jeeva Nadi that was in his possession, published in the Indian weekly's and later made available in five volumes as NADI SOLLUM KATHAIGAL and also more revelations through Karthikeyan Aiya's blog SITHTHAN ARUL.

GRATITUDE

Ashok Ramanujam commented on a post of mine, http://agathiyarvanam.blogspot.ru/2015/04/all-about-life.html, re-posted by Aum Agatthiya Maharishi Namaha yesterday.

The post:

ALL ABOUT LIFE
I will end my working career in December of this year. Although I could go another 4 years, I thought it was enough having put in 36 years. When I mentioned sometime back about my intent to retire to my mother, she asked me to continue working. Then my family doctor Dr Jaswant questioned me as to why I wanted to retire as I was fit and healthy. But one day I decided to go ahead and submitted my papers for optional retirement. I told my wife. She did not have any reservations. My application was approved. I called up my guru Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal and informed him that I have opted to retire early. Tavayogi was excited and asked me to come over, "Engu vanthirunge magane".
When Nadi Guru Aasan Ramesh called me over for a reading recently, and has I sat in his room while he went over to the adjacent room to get my Nadi, I wondered whether Agathiyar would endorse my decision to retire early. To my surprise, Agathiyar blessed me and gave me the green light to do so. Yes although it was my 53rd Nadi reading, Agathiyar never fails to surprise me!
With both my Guru and Sathguru's blessing behind me I feel reassured that I had done the right thing. I realized at one stage, life is not all about work. Life is not only about going to school, getting an education, joining the workforce, getting married, raising children, and working till the end. There must be more to life.
Dharmalinga Swami of Kollimalai, who now resides in Thiruvannamalai, mentions in a story. Once a Siddha came along to claim his disciple who was very much attached to the worldly affairs. The disciple told him that his mother wanted to see him married. The Siddha left. Some time later, he came back again. The lad told him that his mother wanted to see her grandchildren. The Siddha left. Again he returned after some years. The lad said his mother wanted to see her grandchildren married. The Siddha thought that enough was enough. He asked his disciple to get him a tender coconut to quench his thirst. As his disciple climbed the coconut tree and held on to its leaves, the Siddha gave out a shout from the ground, "Stop! Are you holding to the leave or is the leave holding on to you?', he asked. As if hit by a lighting bolt, the student came to a realization that he was indeed holding on to life and followed his master without another word.
Tavayogi left his family when he was 50 years of age to become a monk. When my family and I were with him at his Ashram in October of 2013, after Tavayogi gave us the privilege to sing the praises of the Siddhas during puja for two consecutive days, he blessed us and mentioned that he had a worry and that that worry was gone. He had seen the fruits of his labor, having sowed the seed of faith and belief in Agathiyar and the Siddhas in Malaysia since 2005.
Today he tells me his life long wish to leave something behind for mankind had materialized. He is in the midst of building a temple complex for Agathiyar and the Siddhas. Tavayogi was the one who initiated the Guru Puja, a celebration and festival at his Kallar Ashram to commemorate Agathiyar's Jayanthi as an annual event. Tavayogi too started the Sarva Dosa Nivaarana Maha Yagam that is the highlight of the two day celebration at Kallar.
My first guru Supramania Swami too had a lifelong wish to build a temple for Lord Murugan.
Some time back I read about a person in India who had taken upon himself to plant a tree a day, hence leaving behind something for prodigy. His selfless service in creating a forest that has now become home to numerous animals. "The forest, which came to be known as Molai forest, now houses Bengal tigers, Indian rhinoceros, over 100 deer and rabbits besides apes and several varieties of birds, including a large number of vultures. A herd of around 100 elephants regularly visits the forest every year and generally stay for around six months" - Source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jadav_Payeng.
Ramalinga Adigal envisioned and built the Sathya Gnana Sabai at Vadalur before attaining jhothi at 51. All great men leave something behind, whether physical or in the form of a teaching.
Ashok's comment:

Ashok shared his experience in seeing the Jeeva Nadi at Kallar Ashram. He is full of gratitude towards Agathiyar.
100% True Shanmugam Avadaiyappa sir.... Even during my nadi reading at kallar I asked agasthiyar to get me freed of birth death cycle (I.e. Let this be my last janma)..... And agathiyar told that he is very happy to hear such a request from me....(பிறவாவரம் கேட்கிà®±ாய்! à®®ிகவுà®®் மகிà®´்ந்தேன் நான்!!)
Agathiyar also told "finish all your duties & karma.... At the end of your life I will guide you to reach the level of a siddha without rebirth... Till then keep doing annadhaanams & keep chanting my namah".....
What else in this life could be this much pleasing to a disciple like me!!!!
OH MY FATHER AGATHIYAR APPA!!! Thank you for all you have given me in my life & for all that you are going to give me in future my dear FATHER!!!! I am EQUIPOISED to accept whatever you give me in my life....because my father,....only you know what I need than myself or anybody else in this world!!!......

Ananda Jyothiamma wrote her reminiscences meeting the adorable Yogi Ramsuratkumar at his hospital bed in Chennai and how she now believes everything in her life was all Agathiyar's play.
When I see your posts/video clips on Yogi Ramsuratkumar, it brings back a strong memory of not long ago ... in Jan 2001, when I sat next to him in his bed at a hospital, which name I just do not remember ... specially the same way he raised his hands, first blessed me on my head .. and was in the same posture till I left the room.
I totally forgot about this incident as, the same night I boarded my flight back to USA ..... and only to be brought back to my memory by Shan in the year 2012 .... Jan .... exactly twelve years after, I was shocked, when you sent me his pic, telling me that he was your guru's guru.
He looked very weak and tired then. I can remember. The male nurse sitting next to him, gave him a glass of milk to drink, which he shared with me. I can remember this only now... not the times I spoke to you ... he spoke to me in Hindi and English.
Secondly, when he kept gazing into my eyes, I just smiled at him and that was the time he asked the male nurse, if he wanted to know who I am. That guy was blinking at the Yogi, so was I ...
The only thing on my mind that time was, after vising my ailing friend's hubby to rush to the airport ...
Little did I know, that all these were arranged by our daddy (Agathiyar) ......
EVERYTHIGN THAT HAPPENED IN MY LIFE DAD WAS BEHIND IT ALL ...... IT CHOCKS ME very much .... his love and affection. HIS LOVE AND AFFECTION.....
In Total Bliss and with heart full of GRATITUDE, my Sharanagathi to the "Guru Mandalam."
The Mighty and Compassionate Father.
Can we Ever find a "FRIEND" so loving and Kind and so Compassionate,
Who will take over our sorrows and Share..
Our Precious Father knows our EVERY strength and WEAKNESS.
Take to to the LORD..OUR PRECIOUS FATHER...IN PRAYER.
"Hear my cry Oh Lord, hear my CALL.
Hold my hand, lest I fall.
Precious Lord, take my hand, LEAD ME HOME.
Hold HIS hand and Walk with HIM.
Call out HIS name, HE hears you from WITHIN.
This MIGHTY SHEPHERD will tend all HIS flocks back home.

THE SIMPLE PATH TO RECEIVING ERAI'S GRACE

Once Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal commented that we at Agathiyar Vanam Malaysia (AVM) were gifted and blessed to have Agathiyar reside within the home and in our hearts, as he had to ride the often tough, challenging and treacherous route over the hills and dales seeking the most compassionate father. It was heartening to hear that from one's guru.

He also told me that Agathiyar would put us to test and if we do survive the test he is ours for eternity. Indeed he tested our faith, belief and patience when my daughter broke her leg in an accident; my wife had to have a medical procedure done on her; and both my other daughter and I came down with the life threatening dengue fever. But we sailed through these trying times with Agathiyar's grace and compassion.

I still do wonder in awe how Agathiyar first came into our lives.

It all started with a Nadi reading. Agathiyar asked that I pray to Lord Ganapathy, Lord Shiva and him. During my rounds doing my atonements or parikaram I meet my very first guru Supramania Swami of Thiruvannamalai, led to him, under the pretext of having my daughter's birth chart written. Swami a devout Shiva devotee ignites the fire of devotion in me, passing on a mantra of Lord Shiva.

Later I am brought to meet my second guru Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal of Kallar Ashram, on my very home ground. Tavayogi ask that I bring my family too into the worship of the Siddhas. He initiated my wife and me the very day we met him in Malaysia. Tavayogi nurtured the flame of devotion in my family and me passing on a mantra of Agathiyar.

In a later Nadi reading, Agathiyar asked that I worship him in the form of a bronze statue, that was supposed to be placed at Raghavendra Swamigal's Brindavanam upon completion of the temple complex. Meanwhile Tavayogi who took up the ritual of performing the sacrificial fire or Yagam at his temple grounds, initiated me to to start one at my home. I began performing the Homam, a smaller version of the Yagam with family and friends.

On his next visit to Malaysia, he fine tunes the rituals that we had been following.

Agathiyar then chooses to remain at AVM instead of heading for the Brindavanam as mentioned earlier, which surprised us. Thus we at AVM have been performing lighting the sacrificial fire or homam, libation or abhisegam and singing the praise of the Siddhas without fail since then.

For one who was never into any form of rituals or worship, Agathiyar and Tavayogi made the rituals simple and clear to follow.

Both Agathiyar and Tavayogi expounded the greatness of performing the homam that was done for the good of humanity and nature. It also removes karma, they added. Agathiyar is delighted whenever we bath him in 16 types of abhisegam. He sits majestically and listens to the soul stirring songs belted out by his devotees. Never once had he taken fault and complained about any inadequacies in these rituals. He grants the wishes of devotees with just a light of a lamp. It gives us delight to hear devotee's lifes change for the better after having visited AVM.

What started as an individual's family prayers, expanded to include friends and other devotees too. These devotees have helped towards the success of conducting the rituals either by participating or by contributing puja items. To those who are ignorant of the procedures in performing a simple Siddha Puja, he directed them to AVM for guidance. To those who did not have the liberty, time and space to perform these simple yet elaborate rituals he directed them to participate at the puja conducted at AVM. Meanwhile Agathiyar encouraged us at AVM to stream the puja live and these live stream is now being watched by many devotees in various nations.

Agathiyar only gives or instructs such that we can shoulder and nothing more. What we do at AVM is very minute and is basically ritual orientated. We perform everything as and when instructed by Agathiyar in his Nadi. In return the most compassionate father has taken care of us well.

THE INDEFINITIVE DHARMA

Li Hongzhi writes in his Zhuan Falun,
When Sakyamuni became enlightened under a Bodhi tree, he did not reach the Tathagata level right away. He was also constantly improving himself during the forty-nine years of his Dharma teaching. Whenever he upgraded himself to a higher level, he looked back and realized that the Dharma he just taught was all wrong. When he made progress again, he discovered that the Dharma he just taught was wrong again. After he made further progress, he realized again that the Dharma he just taught was wrong. He constantly made such progress during his entire forty-nine years. Whenever he reached a higher level, he would discover that the Dharma he taught in the past was at a very low level in its understanding. He also discovered that the Dharma at each level is always the manifestation of the Dharma at that level, that there is Dharma at every level, and that none of them is the absolute truth of the universe. The Dharma at high levels is closer to the characteristic of the universe than that of lower levels. Therefore, he stated: “No Dharma is definitive.”
Ramalinga Adigal too has spoken of the various stages of spiritual experiences and its indefinite nature. I have tabulated these stages below. (Source: AN INTRODUCTION TO THE PHILOSOPHY OF RAMALINGA SWAMI by Dr C Srinivasan, published by Ilakkia Nilayam, Tiruchi, 1968)

Ramalinga Adigal transformed his body into that of Pranava Deham or the body of grace, merging with Arutperunjhoti, hence conquering death. He acknowledges that there are still higher stages that he hesitates to express.

PATIENCE & TOLERANCE THE KEY TO HAPPINESS

Chakravarti Rajagopalachari or popularly known as Rajaji wrote a beautiful and meaningful song "Kurai Ondrum Illai Marai Murthy Kanna".

(Kurai Onrum Illai, Tamil: குà®±ை ஒன்à®±ுà®®் இல்லை, meaning, No grievances have I, is a Tamil devotional song written by C. Rajagopalachari. The song set in Carnatic music was written in gratitude to Hindu God (Venkateswara and Krishna visualized as one) and compassionate mother - wikipedia.org)

When Vivekananda approached Kali for an explanation, not able to stomach many atrocities done in the name of religion during his time against humanity and the places of worship, Kali told him it was also her doing.

Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal always reminds me "Alatthikaathey", asking me not to take things too seriously and get tensed up over situations.

Mataji Sarojini Ammaiyaar trumpets the same message Agathiyar told me in my Nadi, to maintain "Sagippu thanmai" or be more tolerant. Agathiyar has many a time reminded us to be patient in wanting to see the results of our endeavors.

Agathiyar on numerous occasions, while mentioning about many wrong and false understanding currently prevalent among the public, also says, "Let it be".

When tea was served to a visitor and Yogi Ramsuratkumar, the visitor moved his glass of tea. The Yogi returned the glass to its original place! When Balakumaran was saddened to see a young mother carry her child and stand in line in the hot sun to have the Yogi's blessings, Balakumaran whispered to the Yogi to allow her to be seen first. The Yogi did not respond. After several attempts by Balakumaran, the Yogi finally questioned him if he (Balakumaran) was disturbed by the scene. When Balakumaran nodded and said yes, the Yogi finally gave in to his wishes. But Balakumaran writes in his book that he regretted for having put in a nice word for the women and her husband.

Agathiyar encourages us to learn to forgive others like how he forgave me, as told in my Nadi reading. The most compassionate father tells me that although I had done wrong deeds, I needed the experience.

Agathiyar listened to my mother's prayer hoping that I should drop my anger. Agathiyar then expounded the dangers of anger in one single Nadi reading specifically to help me address and manage my anger. He put me to test almost immediately after that particular reading too. It was a Sunday when I had this reading. The streets were empty except for a few cars parked in their bays. I parked my car in a parking lot alongside the road. As my family and I returned to the car after the reading, I was confronted with a situation where someone had parked his car alongside mine! It did not make sense to me. Why would someone park his car alongside mine when there were numerous empty parking lots. This angered me. I honked my horn but no one came to move the car. It made me even more angrier. I tried to open the doors but they were locked. I took a look into the car and realized the hand brake was up. Although this made me very angry, my family members were having a field day at my expense. My 2 daughters and wife looked towards the sky as if looking to see if there were CCTV's fitted and if the Siddhas were watching. They were laughing away. I started to shove and pushed the car. It began to move. I push it a sufficient distance to enable me to come out of my parking lot and we drove away to have our lunch.

After having lunch we took a stroll on the walkway when a local TV anchor and Radio newsreader passed by us. I turned around and he turned around too. He came up to me and pushed me to the wall of the shop-houses. He pointed to both my wife and my daughters and began to compare the size of the pottu or bindi on their foreheads. He ridiculed my children for have such tiny pottu and said they should follow the mother. He emphasized that we should follow the culture. I was taken aback by his action and words. I was irritated and lost my cool. I replied that it was their wish and that if indeed he was concerned about upholding the Indian culture he should be in vesti and not in pants. He hurriedly left the scene for fear of being barraged with more angry words.

Imagine this incident happened just moments after the annoying incident at the car park.

If only we could adhere to these wise and sound advise we shall have peace of mind and the world would be a better place.

YOU ARE A TOTAL UNIVERSE

Rohit Raveendran from Kerala visited the new Kallar Ashram site recently. He mailed me some moments ago.
Dear Shanmugham sir,
Recently i have been to the new kallar site along with tava yogi. i snapped few pics and i thought i would share it with you as it would be a great material to share in your blog.......
Rohit was interviewed for a television network some time back when he went for his Jeeva Nadi reading.

The Kallar ashram has put on hold all Jeeva Nadi readings until January of next year as they are busy with the construction of the new temple complex. The annual Agathiyar Jayanthi and Guru Puja where the highlight of the two day event would be the lighting of 108 sacrificial fire pits or yagam, Sarva Dosa Nivarana Maha Yagam is set to be held on 29 December 2015. Tavayogi is rushing to meet this dateline, at least have the accommodation and the meditation hall completed by then.

Siddha Heartbeat thanks Rohit for his contribution.

THE SECRET IN HEALING ANOTHER

Sri posted yet another beautiful piece on the master in his fb.
"The Master never explained his methods or ways in healing the sick, who came from far away to be treated. He simply used to touch the sick and close his eyes only to mutter a few incoherent words.
The ones who were around him tried hard to listen to what he was saying, but none could grasp what He said, so they ended up making their own postulations.
One of them said to the other, "The Master is uttering mystic syllables, which could be as ancient as Time itself."
Not wanting to be left behind, the other one interjected, "I think He is directly talking to the souls of the patients, to make them whole."
Yet another one jumped in by saying, "I guess He is using the techniques of Pranic Healing to heal them of their diseases."
One after the other, those who were close to the Master, passed a judgement on the Master's methods and ways, but none of them could ever guess the real technique.
Years later when the Master was on his death bed, he called upon a young disciple, who had served him diligently all throughout and he explained the method for him to carry on the lineage.
The Master said, "All you need to do is summon up all your compassion and touch the afflicted ones and say, 'Yours is mine and mine is yours...be healed from now!'
The disciple with tears in his eyes said, "All along, you have been carrying all their mundane baggage on your shoulders and bestowing your spiritual blessings on them?"
The Master simply smiled and gently slipped away in to oblivion.
~ No one will ever carry your burden for you; but it they do, then you are the most blessed creature on this Planet Earth, to have found a true Savior and Guru."
