A DEVOTEE'S MEMORABLE MOMENTS WITH AGATHIYAR

G.K.Bala Chandran just returned to Malaysia after participating in Agathiyar's Jayanthi and Guru Puja celebrations at Kallar. It was a privilege and blessing to take part in the Sarva Dosa Nivaarana Maha Yagam held in conjunction with Agathiyar's Jayanthi. After the festivities at the Sri Agathiyar Sri Thava Murugar Gnana Peedham, Bala made a pilgrimage to Papanasam and Kalyana Theertam too.

Velayutham Karthikeyan of SITHTHAN ARUL fame has posted Agathiyar looking majestic at Kallar in Google + at https://plus.google.com/u/0/117797760047092853528/posts. I append the photos below. He has carried a post on the Yagam conducted at Kallar at http://siththanarul.blogspot.com/2013/12/22122013_25.html/

The blog, AGATHIYAR - THALAIYAAYA SIDHAR at http://xn--vkc6a6ba9cg7h0ee.com/sage/2013/12/ carries an elaborate coverage of the events over the two-day celebrations at Kallar.

Kalyanakumar Veerapandiyan has posted a video of the flag-raising ceremony at Kallar at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-czaYvKyWY#t=18

Bala had received Agathiyar's blessings through the Aasi Nadi reading prior to leaving for India. He was invited to Kallar, Papanasam and Kalyana Theertam. Bala heeded Agathiyar's invitation and left for India. All things fell into place and he made this fulfilling pilgrimage.

I append Bala's Nadi reading below:

Bala had sketched Agathiyar, Thava Murugar (and Lord Vinayagar). He presented these drawings to Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal and Jnana Jyoti Amma while at Kallar. Tavayogi asked that he hand over these drawings on stage during the Vizha or festival. Tavayogi then accepted them from Bala in front of all the devotees who had gathered for the festival. It was indeed a great honor for Bala to be garlanded with a shawl or Pon Aadai on stage by Tavayogi himself. It was a memorable moment for Bala receiving the recognition for his masterpiece from Tavayogi himself. Bala was brought to tears with the humility and hospitality that both Tavayogi and Mataji showered on him.

As a bonus Bala receives a couple of books on the Siddhas authored by this gentleman.

Bala has uploaded the following photos of Agathiyar and Lobhamudra at Kalyana Theertam on FB.
