THE KUGENS IN MALAYSIA

Towards the end of February, 2015 I stumbled upon a blog, quite by accident, or so I thought. I subsequently learnt that there are no coincidences or chance experiences, as we often perceive them to be. The photos of the Agathiyar Gnana Peedam in Kallar caught my eye and from that very first visual, I experienced a physical energy vibration under my skin, which flowed through my body. This was accompanied with a spinning sensation at the top of my head (crown chakra). It felt strange at first.
For the days that followed I frequented the site with increased curiosity. Again, I followed the links and arrived at the ashram in Kallar. I viewed the prayers and visually absorbed the statues and the inside of the temple with piqued interest.

Each time I indulged myself with these visits the vibrations I experienced became more intense. I remember little else other than the distinct knowing that I had to go there.
The above is a pretty interesting and well written account of a seeker who stumbled on the path of the Siddhas. Read further about her travels into the mysterious and mystical realm of the Siddhas at http://agathiyarvanam.blogspot.my/2015/06/a-devotees-journey-on-path-of-siddhas.html?m=0

Her writing was to be the beginning of a travel journal on the exciting journey of the Kugens. As she aspired and wished for she made her way to Kallar Ashram with her husband eventually.

Moving back to her very first mail to me on May 28, 2015,
My salutations to you. My name is KP. I hail from the southern most tip of Africa, namely South Africa. I am a frequent visitor on your blog and I thank you profusely for being the instrument which led me to Agathiyar. Your writing is truly magnetic and the manner in which you selflessly share the personal experiences of your journey and your knowledge to educate us tiny atoms is sincerely admirable. The wise Agathiyar has certainly chosen an exceptional soul to impart the work of the siddhars.
The purpose of my email is to humbly seek your permission to share my story with you, on a private platform (perhaps on this email address), and given that you are so far traveled on your journey with the divine one, any insights or thoughts you may have, I would be most grateful to receive. I have been documenting some of my experiences of late, in the form of a manuscript, like a story particularly for my kids because I want them to understand how rare and amazing these experiences are and for myself, so I can read it over and over to feed my soul. My story is extraordinary, having said that, I believe every person fortunate enough to experience Agathiyar, would have an extraordinary story.
Again, I must thank you for being instrumental in guiding me towards this path. I am aware that you have played this role in the lives of many and you may see this as part of the work during your journey. For me however, you will stand out as a flag, one that signalled the path ahead for a major life change, one I am immensely grateful for. I refer here not just to finding your blog and the connection to Kallar, but largely to the education I have gleaned from your writings.
Reading her writing on her discovery of this path, I asked to share it to all on Siddha Heartbeat. She obliged.
Since finding the path in February, I have read many personal experiences shared by Agathiyar devotees and I longed to have an experience of my own. If sharing my experience with others all over the world results in them finding Agathiyar and the siddhas; we can all return to him (Agathiyar) in our next birth.
Returning to Johannesburg from Kallar with a heavy heart she prayed, in her own words,
After returning home, in my prayers I asked Agathiyar why he had put me on a continent so far away from him and the people who knew him. It felt disconnected, distanced and lonely.
Soon afterwards the swami emailed details of the person I needed to contact to assist me with finding the books. (My dear father in the reading asked me to read books by Yogi Ramiah. A kind swami we met in Arunachala mentioned he would help me find the books in South Africa.)
I called the lovely lady and arranged to meet with her. I arrived at her place of work and was swept off my feet. The room was identical to the waiting room at the ashram in Kallar. Babaji, many siddhas, swamis and Agathiyar graced the walls of the room. The place looked like an ashram. She offered me her personal copy of a Yogi Ramiah book and went on to tell me about the yoga she teaches in that very room. It was not just yoga, she was a kriya yoga teacher. I knew exactly what was happening, there was no question about it. I knew I had to bring the yoga in at some point but it was arranged for me, my kriya yoga teacher was chosen. She amazingly was initiated by Yogi Ramiah himself.
I had been doing the yoga for a few weeks now. My dear yoga teacher invited me to a satsang which took yesterday. This was held at the yoga studio. I did not know what to expect. Again I was beyond surprise. Her guru from out of town was present, together with other devotees. I was to find out that they were devotees of the siddhas, they not only knew of Agathiyar but they had prepared to perform a homa for Agathiya and the other siddhas yesterday. I had been invited to a sacred prayer for the saints in my very town. I am still astonished. I was introduced to the warm and friendly guru who, unbelievably was initiated by Yogi Ramiah and Babaji. Needless to say I no longer feel disconnected, distanced and lonely. I was shown and taken directly to the place and people I am to walk with.
The Kugens walked a step further in bringing cheer and happiness to the elderly and those in homes.

Their wish to participate in feeding the homeless in Malaysia will come to be fulfilled when they join Sri Krishna and his Pothigai Meals on Wheels team tomorrow noon.

The Kugens arrived in Malaysia two days ago and visited the Batu Caves where they released caged birds and fed them and also the fishes. They then visited AVM and spent some time with AVM Agathiyar. This morning they witnessed puja for Eco City Agathiyar and will join us in puja at AVM later in the evening.

PLANS FOR NEW AGATHIYAR TEMPLE

Agathiyar has given hints of plans for a new temple of his that will be overseen by Sri Krishna in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city in the coming years in two separate Nadi readings within days. Krishna who worshiped Agathiyar since he was a teen has served Agathiyar in numerous ways. Having being brought up around people who read the Nadi, he was exposed to this mysterious oracle since young.

Agathiyar in the Jeeva Nadi revelation by Tavayogi says that his relationship with Agathiyar goes even further back, when Krishna used to row Agathiyar across the Kaveri river at Kangayapalaiyam in Erode where Agathiyar was then forming/making the Sivalinga out of the river sand, that now has come to be known as the Nattadreeswarar Temple.

Krishna used to translate the Nadi for non Tamil speaking seekers. Soon he began to organize tours to temples in India and within Malaysia to facilitate and aid the seekers perform the remedies stipulated in their Nadi. He joined up with many organizations and worked hard to spread the teachings of the Siddhas. He used to conduct libation and puja for Agathiyar at the many centres and homes aligned with the worship of Agathiyar. When the puja for the present granite statue of Agathiyar housed at the Eco City Temple came to a stop when its caretaker passed away, Krishna who had performed puja for this Agathiyar's statue at the home of the deceased, took up the task to care for Agathiyar.

Soon Krishna started the Pothigai Meals on Wheels feeding programme and cooked, packed and distributed meals to the homeless, the unfortunate, the abandoned ones in the homes and hungry school kids. Recently he started feeding the cows, birds, fishes and monkeys and released caged birds that he purchased for a price. Next on the table is to include feeding the elephants. Sri Krishna was aided by great souls who came together in the name of serving Agathiyar and humanity.

Agathiyar observed all these charitable moves of Krishna and his team and came forward to acknowledge his contribution and showered his blessings through the following Nadi reading.

ANNADHANAM

Bala Chandran's family carried out their monthly annadhanam, the 20th, this evening at a regular home with Sri Krishna of Pothigai Meals on Wheels who prepared the food. It is a grand sight to see both these wonderful souls together feeding the hungry and unfortunate.

AS WE MOVE INTO THE NEW YEAR

The AVM family is a small group of devotees who came together initially in doing puja for Agathiyar but has taken on other tasks as deemed fit by him over time. The AVM Whatsapp group is a working platform for this group that shares, cherishes and involves itself in the many programmes hosted by AVM. This group only posts its own activities and those that AVM contributes towards. AVM believes that active participation in these activities enhances our relationship and sharing. We have among us overseas and out of state members as well and fully understand it is not feasible for them to take part in our activities from where they are. But we have always encouraged them to initiate and carry out similar or even better programmes in their neighborhoods. We have special and loved ones in our group whose heart and soul is with us but cannot participate actively due to age factors and illnesses. We look towards them as mentors and seek their valued advise.

As AVM becomes more focused in its role towards society in the year to come, we realize that we need active participation from members. There are so many avenues created in AVM for members to attend, participate and contribute their resources.  For those who are into puja, they are invited to our puja sessions at AVM or the homes of other members in their vicinity. For those into feeding and other dharma based activities they could join "Pothigai Meals on Wheels" or "Thondu Seivom" in serving others. For those who can only contribute through donations and cannot actively play a role in our activities for various reasons, we have Amudha Surabhi where they can channel their contributions to keep these programmes alive. For those who just want to have some fun and a workout they could join us in our many outings and classes.

As Agathiyar leads us into a new year where we foresee many new tasks coming our way, we need souls who are dedicated towards doing Erai's asking and directives.

Agathiyar who addressed our individual needs and questions earlier has now began to address us as a group and guide all in the group equally placing us all on the same threshold where no one is superior or inferior. He chooses to guide us through messages related to any one of us in the AVM, AUM, TS and AS group. He asks us to work collectively towards bringing many of his tasks into a reality. We are amazed at watching the change in us where he brought us from being self centered individuals to serving the community and humanity at large.

As we put on our gears to work harder towards achieving Agathiyar's goals for the new year, we shall walk tall as he had always asked of us.

Siddha Heartbeat and AVM thanks all these wonderful souls who have worked the year long bringing all our programmes to live.

FEEDING OVER THE AGES

When I met Dr VN Jayapalan at his Siddha clinic in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, many years ago, he shared many stories with Suren and me. Earlier Suren had received the Dr's CD albums and publications of his Agathiyar Mei Gnana Sabai, Sri Agathiyar Universal Trust, Bangalore when he was in India.

In one of the many revelations the Dr had during meditation, Agathiyar reveals the origin of his very first temple built by Kuberan in the past, at the start of the present yuga. This temple still stands at Agasthiyampalli, Vedharanyam. The temple came to be built as an act of appreciation by Kuberan who was ruling his kingdom fine till famine hit his land. All his subjects were served morsels of food dished out by a stranger on the outskirts of his kingdom. When Kuberan too had exhausted his stock of food grains and was having tremendous hunger pangs that no amount of food could satisfy, he turned towards the stranger, something that the stranger had predicted would happen when he knocked the door to the King's palace much earlier. The stranger was worshiping Agathiyar.

Agathiyar asked that I visit this temple of his at Agasthiyampalli where he promised to open his eyes.

I was fortunate that Tavayogi accompanied me to this temple when we were making rounds to several temples and Siddha sites in 2005. True to his words Agathiyar opened his left eye in his aged and worn out granite statue that day. He surprised us when we stopped by at the Kutraleshwar temple in Pavanasam shortly after. When I least expected he opened both his eyes in his granite statue of his at the back of this temple. Soon he directed me to have a replica of his image at Agasthiyampalli made and worshiped at AVM. To our surprise he opened his eyes in his bronze statue at AVM in 2014 when Jnana Jyothiamma was visiting us. Since than he watches over us with eyes wide open.

Later I came to know that the granite statue at the Eco City Agathiyar temple too is a much bigger replica of Agasthiyampalli.

Moving many years forward Ramalinga Adigal started the Dharma Saalai to feed the hungry too.

Dr Jayapalan also narrated the story of a guardian angel of the forest Vanadhurga that was cursed to roam forever for being egoistic and not showing respect to Agathiyar in the woods. However Agathiyar gave her a remedy too where she would be freed of her curse once she accepted food served by a devotee of Agathiyar with love and kindness. She was freed off her curse when she was served at Dr Jayapalan's centre in present times.

While he has asked both Sri Krishna and Balachander Aiya to perform puja for him at the Eco City temple Agathiyar has constantly reminded me and my family to continue puja for him at AVM. While he dictated us to focus on his worship, both Sri Krishna and Bala Chandran were dictated to cook and serve food to the hungry. Sri Krishna initiated his programme "Pothigai Meal on Wheels" while Bala Chandran started a service orientated group "Thondu Seivom" for this purpose. We at AVM contributed towards the Amudha Surabhi fund that funds these and many other charitable activities.

Over the years both Krishna and Bala together with many others sent by Agathiyar to aid them have done a fine job in serving humanity food to appease their hunger.

Yesterday Sri Krishna with his team cooked and distributed food parcels in the streets of Kuala Lumpur and fed the birds, fishes and monkeys at Batu Caves. They let free several birds that  they purchased from the pet shop. The first food parcels were served to the garbage collectors who were doing their rounds serving us in keeping our homes and neighborhood clean and healthy. Siddha Heartbeat takes this moment to thank all these manual workers who work around the clock to keep our world clean and a safe place to live in.
