AGATHIYAR GEETHAM CD LAUNCH IN INDIA

After a successful launch in Malaysia, Thedal Ulla Thenikalai (TUT) which gears itself to celebrate its 2nd Anniversary tomorrow has graciously volunteered to launch the Agathiyar Geetham Audio CD in Chennai at its anniversary event.

As Agathiyar Geetham makes its way to the shores of India, we continue to receive very positive views from well wishers. Many came up to us to congratulate us on the launch. Many called us. Many more wrote to us.

SOME THOUGHTS ON LIVING

Living in the present

Coming into the present moment is coming alive. Living in the moment takes away your burden, pain and guilt. Living in the moment takes away fear, apprehension and your worries. Living from moment to moment brings on the full potential of time and space connecting you to Erai and existence, hence enriching your life with Erai substance. 

Try as much as you can to be in the present. Bring yourself back to the present moment when you find yourself dwelling in the past or planning for the future. Do all you have to towards the future events or recall the past if the need arises but anchor yourself to the present and fall back into the present moment once you are over with your plannings or reminiscences.

Do no damage

The world was around before we came and shall be around after we leave. Even if we do not leave our footprint behind at least do not do damage to what was already there. I once saw a documentary on Siberian nomads who pitched their tents and herded their animals as they moved from place to place. Each time they dismantled their tents to leave the place for greener pastures to graze their animals they got on their feet and rubbed down the grass leaving it the way it was the day they arrived there. Then the camera shifted to an oil rig just some metres away, abandoned and left behind by a prospecting foreign oil company once the field was found to be not productive to operate no more. The locals took care of their plains well knowing pretty well they will have to come back again to graze their animals next season. On the other hand the foreigners made their buck and left a mess around for others to clean up. 

Be grateful

If you are hale and healthy offer a prayer of thanks to Erai for your health might fail one day.

If you have perfect eyesight take in all the wonderful sights of nature this moment. So take in the beauty of nature all around us for you might lose your vision one day.

Slow down a moment to admire the many myriad forms of nature and all of creation in which the skill and meticulous workmanship of Erai becomes very much obvious to us. We begin to realize that there is no master craftsman greater nor beyond Erai.

If you have perfect hearing now take in all the sounds that nature orchestrates each moment for us. Stop talking for a moment and listen to natures sounds. Soon you shall hear your own breath and heartbeat. Learn to quieten down and listen for soon the hearing too will deteriorate.

Taste all the nectar and essence that nature has provided us from food for you might not get to taste them another day.

Take in deep breaths and bring in the live force and prana that is all around us, energizing each cell to perform its work, for one day the breath might stop.

Take a walk now for your limbs might fail you later.

Do all that you have wanted to do today with all the attention and care you can give as if there would not be another day.

Hug your spouse, children and friends today for either of you might not be around another day.

Hold these thoughts and the present moment will be enriching and of quality.

Take charge of your life

We always expect assistance from outside. Yes it is needed for certain chores. Similarly we go to a guru for direction. Take what he gives and leave on your journey of self discovery. Do not be attached to the guru. Similarly the guru too stays detached from the student. 

Many ask me to pray for their loved ones in times of need. I do. But I would love them to pray individually too and realise the potential of their prayers. That is what we do at AVM too. Instead of gathering everyone at AVM each Thursday we call them over once. They take note of how to go about with a basic Siddha puja and bring it back to their homes. We ask them to engage in puja at their own homes at their own convenience. We want them to build a power source in their own home where they learn to seek all that they want from Erai rather then going to  another. 

The full potential of Erai is within us we are told and many saints have realized it and spoke and sang about it. Bring that mighty spirit into your homes and hearts through prayers. Bring that healer within your and heal yourself. See him heal you from within. 

Believe that you do not need any external medium to interact with the divine on your behalf. Take charge of your life. Deal with Erai yourself. Start speaking to him. Ask him whatever your heart desires. He shall give it to you. 

Once you have exhausted all your desires and have nothing more to ask for yourself he shows up at your doorstep. Only when you have dropped or exhausted your desires and begin to live for others, then and only then he moves into you and delivers others desires and asking through you. You become a vessel for him to communicate. 

Once you have emptied yourself he moves in to occupy your home and your heart. He resides in it and begins to deliver to those who come seeking. Empty yourself today and replace your heart with love. Let everyone become an apostle of the divine.

Members of Pothigai Dharma Chakram a name given by Erai to denote Pothigai Meals on Wheels, made their way again to the elephant sanctuary in Pahang to feed the elephants rescued and cared for.

A DOCTOR'S NOTES

Dr Subhasini from Chennai has shared her experiences coming to the fold of the Siddhas. I shall make way for her now.

Needless to say about the divine grace of guru Agathiyar. He lives in thousands and thousands of hearts but still he looks after us like a mother. 

It all started way back in childhood days, my younger sister had been the person crazy about Siddhas, and badly wanted to meet them. All this curiosity driven by mother and her experiences. I had been though not reluctant a little timid, silent. My prayers and worship to Lord Shiva was the prime. To be frank I had never been too persistent or consistent. I usually start new prayers and worship and keep shifting adding, reducing except few things. 

My experience with astrologers had been mixed, my views were not very constant. But my interest in nadi was high despite the misconceptions existing around it. After my graduation in undergraduate medicine which itself was financially tough for my family, I felt the divine blessing to complete. After 2 years of my post graduate entrance preparation without continuous work and all efforts, I saw most of my friends settling in post graduate courses and a family life, giving me all kinds of advice. It was the time I literally lost hope in God (a tantrum shown obvious).

A year later, my sister had taken toll, spotting the books written by Hanumandasan (the famous nadi guru of Chennai). It was the starting of all that followed. It was an awesome series. We browsed in and out about him only to find out we wouldn't be able to contact him (he had passed away 2 years back then in 2013). We felt very unlucky, in fact like a piece of cake not reaching your mouth. 

Days passed, weeks continued, finally I was introduced to Sithanarul blog by my sister. Whom I owe everything in my life for she had been through all my sufferings and in a persistent attitude to find a solution. Later, we got to know about Kallar nadi through the blog. But as usual due to the misconceptions more than us, my mother was too worried and indecisive whether to get a reading. Finally convincing all, my sister booked dates for all of us. I had the reading first. To be short Agathiyar had given few puja, yagam for my higher education and told that I had to be careful on diet. He also told that I had become weak. 

Even after this reading we had confusions on reliability but after my sister's reading we started believing. Later, after all the puja also I couldn't cross that year for a good seat, (the exam I had written few months back). 

The next exam I literally didn't prepare in hope of getting a seat in the previous exam… but not long I had to face the exam. Despite to it exceptionally I had got a closer, comfortable location for my exam center, making me more frustrated. Cos I didn't give in a good preparation. With all pressures to settle in family, pg and my mother getting retired earlier part of the year, I felt like inside a huge pressure cooker. But the kind guru, that gracious he was to take care from every single second making me really calm. 

I got a decent rank which I really didn't work. It was a blessing, I cannot explain the intensity, nor a good writer to bring in to readers mind the feeling of how a guru makes you feel. I didn't realise that time cos I had aimed to high. Later I settled in a para clinical branch which I had refused to take up earlier in better colleges and institutes due to different reasons. I badly wanted Agathiyar to reply, as though he was the guy next door. Which I till date think and reflect despite that he had been so kind and caring. A human nature to expect more and more and to get a quick answer and reply. A cycle which I couldn't break till date. 

I went back to Kallar, another reading. This time giving a great surprise (surprises had never been part of my life except a few). This time Agathiyar says he wanted me to serve people in distress and bring them out. I was totally awestruck, too less a word to explain the exact situation. I really wondered if it really meant me, cos the branch which I took rather forced was literally something I had not wanted. Agathiyar added he will adopt me a daughter I was totally freezed. I was not in my senses that day or to be more frank from that day. He is living with me and I keep fighting with him for even small unexpected events….. But I still believe strongly he will continue to be with me. 

I till date feel I had not been a very obedient daughter to him, sneaking on junk food, questioning him back for all that happens to be a part of my life, not able to cope up with the regular people at work… But all this which I believe is my karma and Agathiyar may forgive me in the days to come. 

But of all the differences every single action, his step in my life, I feel his presence. He has never left me alone, In fact I have seen a lot in day to day life from simple train bookings, travelling to getting better in life. Many a times when ever I get a tantrum/ doubt, I look into Sithanarul blog only to get an answer so apt. Once I had a doubt, cos I had gone out of his advice, I felt bad. I really thought he would have left me, I had cried literally a night. The next day morning I get an answer through the blog where he says it's his duty to change the attitude and correct his children. He lives for all of us. He is around all of us.

AGATHIYAR ANDU VIZHA

They came, they saw and they conquered. This is how I would describe the devotees of Agathiyar at AVM. They came with curiosity; with a yearning; and most importantly came empty. They saw; they learnt; and they put it into practice. They then conquered the hearts of the Siddhas and Erai.

On 1st February the gates of heaven opened wide and heaven fell on us. The divine blessed each and everyone of us who had gathered at AVM to celebrate the Annual Fest for Agathiyar or Agathiyarin Andu Vizha, leaving us stupefied and stunned. As if that was not enough Erai called and addressed each and everyone through his Jeeva Nadi, again bringing tears of joy and bliss to us.

All the faith and belief that these children had on Erai paid off today. All the rituals and puja carried out paid off today. All the charity and donations made paid off today. Erai has elevated all these children to the next level. We are blessed to be in the shadows of the Siddhas.
