THE SRI GNANASKANDAR JEEVA NADI PART 2

The administrator of http://kaumarapayanam.blogspot.ru, has graciously posted revelations from Lord Murugan and the Siddhas through the Sri Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi in possession of his guru, a Skandar Upasagar. Many have benefitted from these readings, which when followed and adhered to, brought immediate change to them. I continue below translations from this blog. I thank the administrator and the Skandar Upasagar for sharing these gems.

The Skandar Upasanar says the Nadi is a means of communication with God, Devas and the Siddhas. The revelations will be accurate for those devoted to Lord Murugan and the Siddhas and those who are genuine in seeking spiritual upliftment.

The revelations in the Nadi closely follow the movements of the planets and the its effects on a person. The Siddhas disclose remedies accordingly to the effects of the planetary movements. Most of the time they recommend prayers at temples. Generally the seeker is asked to visit certain temples without failure for a certain period of time. At times they reveal about herbs and its usages. For some the mystery of herbs and plants is revealed and its usage made known to them through the Nadi. For others they are taught to worship yantras. Some are dictated to conduct yagams. At other times they reveal mantras and yantra. Some are given mantras to chant. But it all depends on who is supposed to receive them.

The atonement generally is centred around feeding the poor and animals, conducting puja for Siddhas, and praying at Jeeva Samadhis and temples. Whether these atonement achieve what it set out to do is again dependent on the subject and his karma.  How do we know if the lord has accepted our atonement? The Upasagar says a miracle has to take place first. Then the miracle and the happening is confirmed through the Nadi.

In the Gnanaskandar Nadi the Siddhas give upasanas (a prescribed method for approaching a Deity or God or getting close to a deity/deities - From Wikipedia) too.

The Skandar Upasagar recalls his personal experience with a seeker. He was a doctor and wanted an appointment to read the Nadi. The Upasagar explained to him how the Nadi works and ask that he be patient.

Once the Upasagar who was a frequent visitor at the famed Utthumalai Murugan temple in Salem was approached by a young man. He introduced himself as the doctor who had tirelessly been calling him for an appointment the past six months. He adds that he had not been to this temple earlier. His friend had invited him along. The Upasagar asked him to contact him in two days time.

On the day of reading, the revelations came streaming as flood waters. What surprised them was that Agathiyar revealed his past connection with the doctor in the reading. Agathiyar revealed why the doctor was not called for a reading much earlier too. The doctor was given certain atonements or parikaram to perform.

After four months the doctor came for a reading again. Lord Murugan and Agathiyar disclosed to him that only with upasanas, japam and tavam can the link to the spiritual lineage be reconnected. Soon the doctor's life slowly changed and improved for the better.

The Skandar Upasagar advises us to turn to worship of God and the Siddhas and he assures us life will start to bloom. He ask that seekers be patient as the Nadi has to be read at the read moment for a favorable reading and favorable results to take place. He advises us to set our minds on how to go about carrying out the atonement and to follow the advise given and not to investigate how the reading is done.

What should happen and when it takes place is determined by God’ law, nature's law and law of karma. Upon seeking a reading, the seekers karma is revealed, on the outset, so that one can take the necessary measures to correct and remedy the wrongs he had done. Only after that can he see the benefits and all other pleasures of life that he is destined to experience, come his way. Then the most compassionate Lord Murugan and the Siddhas go to the extent of remedying or changing one's horoscope if there is a need for it.

Sri Velayudham Karthikeyan Aiya, author of the blog, Siththan Arul, at http://siththanarul.blogspot.com/2014/12/204-20.html, has summarized the high points and what we need to know about the Nadi and the workings of karma and how the Siddhas can help change one's fate or destiny. The Jeeva Nadi revelations were made to his friend, the Jeeva Nadi guru of Chennai, by Agathiyar through the Jeeva Nadi in his possession.

Agathiyar always ask that his subjects have faith and be patient; in getting to see the Nadi and to see the results and changes take place. Apart from carrying out atonement or parikarams, one has to continue doing good and not give up. Agathiyar ask us to look out for every possible way to help others, be it in kind or cash.

Agathiyar reveals the mysteries and intricacies of dealing with one's karma. The process of reevaluating and reassigning one's karma is difficult and lengthy. Generally Agathiyar does not give a commitment unless the seeker comes with faith and belief. The most compassionate father Agathiyar goes all the way out to help his subjects. He seeks to know the future of his subjects from Lord Brahma and with the lord's permission sets out to bring changes in their lives. But Agathiyar adds that at times it is an uphill battle and that it might take some time to bring these changes. Lord Brahma might not relent. If Lord Brahma refuses to budge Agathiyar will then have to find ways to coerce and get the lord to surcumb to his wish. If Lord Brahma accepts Agathiyar's petition, the devotee's wishes are immediately granted. Agathiyar does not turn anyone away bluntly but will work on their karma in a subtle way, behind the screen. The seeker need only to approach him, seek refuge with Agathiyar, have faith and be patient. Agathiyar says when he ask a person to wait, it only means that he is battling with Lord Brahma to give in to his devotees wishes. In a day, there are easily a 1000 people seeking Agathiyar to change their fate and destiny. Although Agathiyar sincerely wants to help all of them, Agathiyar too has lots of other engagements. He has to meditate, carry out God's dictates, and attend to his job and responsibilities. Hence Agathiyar ask that his devotees be patient.

It is wrong to expect results immediately after carrying out the atonement or parikaram. Some might see the results immediately because of their huge store of good merits or punyam. To others there might be a long delay. Here too one has to be patient and have lots of faith. Agathiyar sternly warns us to keep away from crooked ways for no one can escape the upper arm of karma and its ever just laws. Its God's dictates too. Agathiyar is a guide. He will attend to certain matters directly while in other cases he would act behind the stage. If what is mentioned by Agathiyar does not take place, it only means that fate and destiny hasn't given in to the subject's wishes. The fault lies with the subjects and not Agathiyar. Its only reasonable to ask to have devotion, faith and believe on Agathiyar first even before seeking his words and advice in the Nadi.

According to the Jeeva Nadi Guru of Chennai in his writings and what was passed on to Sri Velayudham Karthikeyan Aiya, there have been instances where the Nadi was brought to the homes of devotees, out of the norms, and Agathiyar gracefully granted the devotee a reading because of their past devotion and faith on the Siddhas.

The Skanda Upasagar adds that one cannot expect to hear what he wants through the Nadi but instead he shall only hear what Lord Murugan and the Siddhas want him to hear. They even let us know when the next reading will be done. But until then what has been delivered has to be followed or fulfilled first. On the next date, they shall reveal more secrets. Another date will be given. This will go on. If what is told in the Nadi is followed diligently one shall be shown further the mysterious workings of the Nadi, karma and the Siddhas.

The Skandar Upasagar mentions a case that came before him. This time, Lord Murugan asked Agathiyar to address a rich couple who came for a reading, as they had built temples for Agathiyar and worshiped him too. The couple had been to the said Agathiyar temple and as they were receiving the prasad, an elderly man who was reading a magazine came over to them, passed the magazine to them and left without saying a word. It was a copy of the THIRUVARUL SAKTHI magazine. They kept the copy without much ado for a month without even flipping through. When their problems arose they began to take a look at the magazine. They read the revelations from the Sri Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi written by Skandar Upasagar that was published in the magazine. At the same time, a friend too had mentioned about the Jeeva Nadi. Taking heed of the signs they came in search of the Upasagar.

The wealthy businessman had lost a huge sum of money to a client who did not acknowledge delivery of his products and refuted ever having received the goods. The couple were considering whether to live or end their lives.

The couple were given some specific instructions and told to wait for the results. After two months they came back but not for a reading. They were there to relate what had taken place. They had followed what Agathiyar dictated including several libation or abhisegam for deities in temples in the last reading. On completion of the said rituals, he immediately received a call. His client apologized for a mistake that was done unintentionally and told the businessman that they had deposited half the said amount into his account and shall settle the rest in a month's time. When the call ended he received a message that the amount had been credited into his account.

A young man who ran a private school came for a reading. The lad who expected to listen to an hour of revelation was disappointed with a short message from Lord Murugan, asking him to go to Vallimalai. Seeing his disappointment, a request was put to Lord Murugan again. The lord continued asking the lad to feed a dog. All his past karmas will be resolved by this action of his, added the lord. After a few days he called to invite the Skandar Upasagar to accompany him to Vallimalai too. The lad insisted that the Upasagar follow him. At the temple grounds a dog turned up and the lad fed him. They continued their journey up the hill, had a darshan of the lord and returned home.

After a few months he came back for a reading. Soon he was married too. The newly married couple turned up again to get Lord Murugan's blessings. The lad came again later and was asked to visit a temple. The couple had a child. He has been successful in his career and continues to build more schools.

The following episode illustrates clearly that its only with God's grace and the Siddhas compassion that karma can be changed. A computer engineering student who was jobless, had been patiently waiting for an appointment to see the Jeeva Nadi for four years. Besides being unemployed, he had other problems too. Although faced with many difficulties, he would visit the Gnanaskandar Moorthy temple every Amavasai without failure. In four years he had witnessed 48 Amavasai puja carried out at the temple. Lord Murugan decided to help him. During the Thaipusam festival, among 700 devotees who had gathered for the festivities, the lord chose to read out his Nadi. The karma kaandam was read. It was a long rendition.

He had in his younger days destroyed a temple and a statue of Karupanna Samy. The reason he brought down the temple was because he disagreed with his brother who wanted to sacrifice and slaughter a goat at the temple. As this lad was compassionate towards animals an argument started between the brothers. The brother insisted that he wanted to continue the family tradition of sacrificing animals for the deity. The argument went out of control and the lad brought down the statue and the shrine.

Soon the father past away, and he moved away from the village to Chennai. Just as he brought down the temple and the statue, his home too was falling apart. He was directed to refurbish the temple. He was asked to visit certain temples too. He was told only then shall his life improve.

The Skandar Upasagar warns us that as it is the past karma has not been resolved yet for most of us, so we need to be cautious about creating fresh and new karma.

THE SRI GNANASKANDAR JEEVA NADI PART 1

Some time back some devotees came to Kallar ashram after having read the Sri Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi in Coimbatore. In that reading by a Skandar Upasagar, Lord Murugan revealed about Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal and his ashram at Kallar. The devotees were directed to Kallar to receive Agathiyar and Tavayogi’s blessings. The devotees brought a recording of the reading which was later uploaded at the Kallar website at https://soundcloud.com/kalyanakumar1985/gnana-skanthar-naadi-speaks by Kalyanakumar Veerapandiyan. I used the recording in a video as seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xeo-XoWV2JA#t=41

Recently Stalin and Kalyanakumar Veerapandiyan shared a link on fb that carries true stories of devotees who came for a reading with the Skandar Upasagar. I share below some translations of the many wonderful revelations made by Lord Murugan to seekers through the Sri Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi.

The administrator of the above blog kaumarapayanam mentions that his guru, a Skandar Upasagar, had been gifted with the Sri Gnaaskandar Jeeva Nadi. The revelations had earlier been carried in the monthly magazine TIRUVARUL SAKTI.

The blog administrator of kaumarapayanam mentions the particular reading that brought devotees to Kallar too.

An astonishing true story pertaining to a Nadi revelation told some 36 years back by the former Adhina Kartha Srilasri Somasundara Desigar of the Madurai Adhinam shocks us. The story goes ..

A man journeyed from Madurai to Tanjore to have his Nadi read. His Nadi leaf was located. The Nadi was read. In the midst of the reading it ended abruptly. The Nadi leaves that should carry the continuation of the revelation was not found. The Nadi reader who was equally puzzled, referred the man to his younger brother who had possession of the rests of the Nadi leaves that were partitioned between them earlier. The Nadi reader suggested the man seek out his brother at Thiruvanandhapuram in Kerala and see if the continuation of the reading was available in the Nadi in his brother’s possession.

The man left for Thiruvanandhapuram with a friend. Unfortunately he is killed in a road accident while his friend survives. The friend who survived the accident was keen to know what was left out from the reading. The friend located the younger brother of the Nadi reader and explained what had taken place and passed the Nadi from Tanjore to him.

The brother located the remaining leaf. Surprisingly there was only a single leaf and it carried a disturbing, single message, 'மலையாள தேசஞ்சென்று மரணத்தில் ஏகுவானே" which meant he shall travel to Kerala and meet with death!

In this Jeeva Nadi, the Siddhas reveal accordingly to the seeker’s temperament, through words that appear and are visible to the reader or through inner sensations. An extensive explanation of the Jeeva Nadi and how it works is given. The secrets of the Sri Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi is revealed.

Man is keen to know his future. Among the many means to tap into the future and make predictions, is the Jeeva Nadi. Many come for a solution to their life's problems. Some come out of fear for the future. Others out of curiosity. To determine a solution to life’s problems, the merits of a person is taken into account. In event the Nadi reader is unable to make a prediction, it is not because of the inability of the reader but rather the karma of the seeker that comes into the way. The Siddhas recommend ways to counter one’s karma. For instance, God provides certain solutions through certain people. He expects the seeker to meet the person, patiently learn from him and follow as dictated and hence counter his karma. Changes will follow in his life.

Coming to a Nadi reader with the expectation of receiving remedies, achieving immediate results or expecting changes to happen overnight, will only lead to disappointment. People lack patience, expecting their lives to be transformed magically and overnight. For miracles to take place, one needs to have a huge store of much good merits gathered over the past births.

Astrology is a science that captures the past karma of a person and mirrors it. Besides having access to the subject’s case history, the reader is cautioned to mention only certain relavent matters at that particular time.

Many have asked me if the Nadi reader is genuine? The blog kaumarapayanam answers the question. Only with God’s grace can one expect to have a good reading. Otherwise they end up disappointed and call it all a hoax. The blog goes on to explain the intricacies of astrology and the various forms of Nadi. The blog carries experiences of the Skandar Upasagar who is the author of the series on the Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi carried in the TIRUVARUL SAKTI magazine. The Skandar Upasagar goes on to narrate episodes from his 14 years of involvement with the Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi.

When one comes to the Jeeva Nadi reader, everything about his past, present and future is made known to the reader.

The Skandar Upasagar explains to whom this gift of Nadi reading will come naturally. He speaks about the magnificence of his guru. Once a thorn of the lime tree pricked his finger, while he was plucking the fruit for his guru. That night, during the Arulvakku session to his astonishment his guru asked him if it hurt much. He adds that the guru spoke through him on many occasions in the past. The Skandar Upasagar's spiritual service began at the age of 16 with the gift of the Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi.

The Skandar Upasagar reveals amazing facts about the Jeeva Nadi. When the Nadi is left at the feet of Lord Murugan (Sri Gnanaskandamurthy) on Amavasai, the lord will reveal who will come in search of the Nadi reading that month. People will turn up just as told. The lord will dictate whom to read for and these people will turn up for a reading. For instance, the Skandar Upasagar writes about a incident on a particular Amavasai. After prayers and annadhanam, as the Nadi reader and the folks who turned up hoping for a reading gathered around, Lord Murugan in the Sri Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi mentioned a birth star. Only one girl was of that birth star, hence she was the only one the lord blessed with a reading that day. The girl who had kidney stones had consulted many doctors and had undergone various forms of medical treatment but the stones kept forming every two months once giving her much physical pain and mental torment. The lord gave a simple solution. The lord asked her to switch to another source of water as she was allergic to it. She fixed a water filter and consumed other herbs that Lord Murugan mentioned. She has since recovered.

After completing his Diploma, a lad had come for a reading and was told to continue his studies. After pursuing his degree and on completion, disappointed that he had yet to land in a job, he came to the Skandar Upasagar. The unemployed B.E. graduate came seeking the Gnanaskandar Jeeva Nadi to known about his career. In the reading it was revealed that he would teach. The lad laughed as he did not the least have a liking for that profession. Neither did he have the thought to marry as yet, when mentioned by Lord Murugan. He was troubled further hearing the outcome of the reading. He was asked to seek a teaching profession, then to get married, after that he was told that he would land a permanent job. The lad was told to refrain from doing his own business. He was ask to carry out atonement (parikaram) and offer prayers at certain temples too. Although he found it hard to believe, the lad did as told. He got a job in a private college that offered him a miserable pay. But as he was to carry out the teaching profession as a service, as mentioned in the Nadi, he accepted it. After a year into his teaching job, his pay was increased. Soon he was married to a relative of his too.

Having the Jeeva Nadi in one’s possession is akin to walking on a sword, says the Skandar Upasagar. Before he engaged in writing the series for the magazine he had to seek Lord Murugan and the Siddha’s blessings and permission.

The Nadi Upasagar has some advise for those seeking the Nadi. Those who have faith on Lord Murugan and the Siddhas will see the fruits of the reading. Those who do not have faith and devotion, those who put on a show and and come for the sake of testing the efficacy of the Nadi, are not provided a reading or will be disappointed. The seeker is asked not to ridicule the Nadi as he could end up with curse (sabam). In event they decide to go for another reading elsewhere, the reading would not be to their satisfaction. The seekers are requested to give the Nadi readers their dues for the reading too.

The Skandar Upasagar expresses how the words appear in the Nadi too. Most of the time the letters appear and disappear although at times its not easy to read. At times only diagrams are depicted and while at other moments the letters keep appearing continuously in a stream. How the message appears, is read and conveyed, depends on the karma of the subject at that moment.

The Skandar Upasagar mentions an episode of how his close friend came for a reading. Having started a joint venture in a business with someone else, his friend ended up going through a bad period and wanted to know why it was all happening.

Upon asking for permission from Lord Murugan for a reading, the lord asked him to come another day.

On the appointed day of reading, the Nadi exposed what was going on in his circle, and asked that he chant Pamban Swamigal's Shanmuga Kavasam and to pay his respects to Lord Bhairavar. His friend did as told. But after eight days, his problems became even bigger. A building at his rice mill got burned down. He came back to consult the Nadi. Lord Murugan gave him a solution. He was to engage the services of a particular Sivachariar and conduct a yagam in the grounds of the mill. His four dogs were to be served food on banana leaves too.

Immediately after his friend had finished these rituals, a man appeared with 10 of the locals to lodge a complaint. The man was enraged that the mill owner’s dogs had attacked and eaten his goats. He asked for compensation. After settling the case amicably, the mill owner was even more disturbed by the chain of bad events and came for another reading. Lord Murugan explained what had taken place. Lord Bhairavar in the form of the dogs had avenged the wrongful act of the victim. The man was the cause of all the problems faced by the mill owner. Lord Murugan stopped at that and refused to reveal further. The mill owner recovered from his loses and eventually engaged himself in worship.

Another friend of the Skandar Upasagar had engaged a shaman to help him with his problems. The shaman conducted a massive puja and on completion of the rituals, removed a chicken leg and a copper foil engraved with his friend's name and the word 'death' written on it, from inside the ceremonial coconut. The shaman assured him that all his problems were solved and got a hefty amount as payment for the rituals and saving his friend.

When his friend related this episode to the Skandar Upasagar, he became suspicious and consulted the Nadi. Lord Murugan exposes the shaman as a fraud and that he had inserted the objects into the coconut himself, to have his friend belief him.

L.M.

Sri Raghavan posted a beautiful passage ~ A leaf from the life of Baba Shyam Churn Lahiri, on fb.

In the mornings He was just another man,
Adhering to the ways of the world He lived in,
Fulfilling His duties as a Father, Friend and Husband,
He lived unpretentiously, working and making a living,
But in the night, there was a great transformation of being,
This ordinary man would turn extra ordinary in a moment,
Glowing with an unearthly light of the heavens,
Floating in an ocean of uninterrupted bliss,

Once His dutiful wife, saw His room resplendent,
As if something bright and golden was shining,
She respectfully went in silently to see,
But She was too dazzled by the sight She'd seen,
Her husband was aloft and glowing in a ball of light surrounding Him,
As if it was morning and the Sun had already risen,
But She knew it was pitch dark outside, for it was still mid night,
He joined Her hands in supplication, mentally prayed for forgiveness,
For many a times, unintentionally, She had scolded Him nevertheless,
The Man gently opened His eyes and saw His wife before Him,
He slowly acknowledged Her benign presence in His room,
Blessed Her with the knowledge of attaining the Unknown,
Thus was the relationship between the wife and husband,
More than that they also shared the bond of a Disciple and a Guru.

The man was Lahiri Mahasaya. An account of Lahiri Mahasaya’s (Shama Churn Lahiree) first encounter with his guru Babaji is narrated by Lahiri’s grandson Satya Charan Lahiree to Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee in ‘PURANA PURUSHA YOGIRAJ SRI SHAMA CHURN LAHIREE’.
On 23rd November 1868, Shama Churn received the order for his transfer to Ranikhet. Leaving his family behind, he set out for Ranikhet which is situated in the Himalayas in northern India.

One day Shama Churn, accompanied by armed guards and orderlies proceeding along the solitary hill path carrying official cash with him suddenly heard someone calling him by his name.

“Shama Churn, come here”
The voice echoed in the mountain and reverberated in the ears of Shama Churn and he was amazed that who might call him by his name in this mountainous region filled with forests. Then he saw a Sanyasin at the top of the mountain calling his name. He proceeded towards the Sanyasin spell bound to find him bear a gentle smile on his face with fatherly affection in his eyes.

The Sanyasin hastily came down the hill top and stood before him. The Sanyasin said, “Shama Churn, do not be afraid, I knew you would be coming by this path, I have been waiting for you. Complete your office task quickly and come to my hermitage at the top of the hill”.
Shama Churn brooded over this after his office work and at last decided to meet the Sanyasin. He walked along the lonely mountain path to find the hermitage after an exhaustive travel along the forest.

Shama Churn bowed to the Sanyasin.
The Sanyasin asked him, “How strange Shama Churn, can’t you recognize me? Can you recollect having come here before? Can’t you recognize this tiger skin, this ascetic’s bowl also? Have you forgotten everything?”
Shama Churn failed to remember any of them and said – “I have never come here before. I cannot recognize them; they must belong to somebody else.”

The Sanyasin stated, “Listen Shama Churn, all these are the play of illusion. It is this illusion which has made you forget all these things.” Saying this the Sanyasin lightly touched Shama Churn. An electric current traversed throughout his body. The whole universe evanesced from Shama Churn. This caused him to recollect his previous life of Sadhana and understood the great Sanyasin as his Guru in his previous birth. With tearful eyes, Shama Churn prostrated at the feet of the Sanyasin for he now retrieved the nearest one of all his births and rebirths.

The Sanyasin continued, “You have practiced yoga Sadhana in your previous birth here. I have preserved your things with utmost care. Your life ended here and you were born as Gourmohan’s son and since then I have been observing all your aspects. I have arranged for your transfer here to impart initiation into yoga to you. I have been waiting for you here since last 40 years.”

After this the great Sanyasin initiated him into Kriyayoga. Shama Churn attained the state of non-dynamism and became engrossed in Samadhi. A golden era of yoga culture in India commenced the very moment Shama Churn’s initiation into yoga occurred and this initiation roused His latent spiritual faculties and powers.

From then onwards Shama Churn would daily finish his official duties early and engage Himself in the austere practice of Sadhana.

After some time Babaji informed Him that he has to leave the cave and go elsewhere as the habitat was gradually becoming crowded rendering it unfit for Sadhana-oriented habitation. To Shama Churn who wanted to leave everything and follow Babaji, he replied that he will have to remain in the family ambit as a complete householder and practice austere Sadhana. Babaji Maharaja adorned Shama Churn with the esoteric essence of yoga Sadhana before sending him to the field of worldly action where the superficial aspect of the material world could not affect him in the least.
Since ages vexed householders have prayed to their respective deities, thus – “O God, show us such a path that will enable us to practice Sadhana by remaining within the family. Barring family life, we cannot practice Sadhana. O Bhagawan sends such a guide who being a family man himself, can show the true path to householders.”

Shama Churn descended on the earth with a noble vow. He had pledged to householders that he would show them a mmarvelous skillful facile path of yoga. Now providence pulled Shama Churn towards the path he was destined to take.

EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES

Many extraordinary experiences had taken place while treading the path of the Siddhas. Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal did not give me even a minute to wait around and digest the miracles that took place each time he brought me some place. He did not speak about it either. He used to rush me out of the venue saying that "they will show only a moment." But that moment however short, was sufficient. He saved me from clinging on to those moments.

When Tavayogi blessed my family, friends and me by stepping into our home for the very first time, I was excited and carried away. I was on cloud nine. But he shot me down and I landed flat on my face. He told me that he was an ordinary person, that I drop looking towards him as saintly person or Swami. He asked me to come out of this world of illusion. He saved me from being caught in this web of illusion.

When I asked to see Agathiyar and Ramalinga Adigal, he turned to me with another question. He asked if that was sufficient, and whether I would settle for it. Instead he told me what I should ask for.

Ram Dass too has spoken this extreme truth regarding the need to move on without holding on to extraordinary experiences on the spiritual path at https://www.ramdass.org/extraordinary-experiences/. He even suggests ways to not to be caught in this web of illusion.

AGATHIYAR AT AGATHIYAR VANAM

Saravanan Palanisamy uploaded a drawing of his on fb. I commented "All it took was for one siddha to move to the south to bring stability to the earth. From this episode I realized that Agathiyar is the equivalent of all gods put together."

Having come from a moderately religious family, I frequented temples and prayed at the altar in my home. As in any home I had numerous pictures of Gods and Goddesses. Agathiyar came into my life in 2002. After returning from Kallar in 2005, I removed all of the pictures except for that of Agathiyar. It was a difficult move but I had to do it. I chose to see all the Gods as one. I chose to see all of the Gods in Agathiyar.

Never did I imagine in my wildest dream that I would be conducting a sacrificial fire (homam) and libation (abhisegam) in my home. Agathiyar arrived at my home in the form of a bronze statue in 2010. During Vinayagar Jayanthi I clad Agathiyar in white and garlanded him with an Arugampul garland. My family and I sang songs in praise of Lord Vinayagar. Later Agathiyar told me in the Nadi reading that that was the truth too.

Agathiyar has changed over the years as apparently visible in the following photos.

The very first picture of Agathiyar that I received from Sivabalan immediately after my very first Nadi reading in 2002.

When my in-laws were going through difficult times, I passed this picture to them and got another of Agathiyar for myself.

Agathiyar arrived at our shores in the form of a bronze statue intending to grace the Jegathguru Sri Raghavendra Mritiga Brindavanam in Ipoh. While awaiting the completion of the Brindavanam, Agathiyar 'camped' at my home.

Agathiyar was crafted in Swamimalai by Varadaraj, packed and driven to Chennai, and flown to Malaysia in 2010.

Agathiyar came packed 'tight' in a plywood box, total weight of 28 kilograms. Agathiyar as he appeared on arrival. The photograph in the background is his original form, a granite statue in Agasthiyampalli, Vedaranyam.

Upon the requests of a devotee we moved Agathiyar to her home for prayers. Agathiyar chose to perform his first miracle outside India for us to see. He opened his right eye in his picture during prayers at the home of this nine devotees.

Over the years Agathiyar has appeared differently to many of his devotees at Agathiyar Vanam.

In 2013 when Jnana Jyothiamma was at Agathiyar Vanam, Agathiyar surprised us with a spectacle, similar to the one he did at Agasthiyampalli. He opened his eyes in the bronze statue of his. Since then Agathiyar has given his darshan many times to devotees gathered at Agathiyar Vanam.

Bala Chandran Gunasekaran took Agathiyar a step further by creating posters. Others carried Agathiyar on their leaflets, invitations, book covers, blogs and even billboards.
