WHEN WE ARE ERASED

In the original "Mary Poppins," we see Mary Poppins and the Banks children "entering a world created by a chalk drawing" by "Bert, who is known for his artistry and ability to make things come alive through his chalk drawings" by "jumping into drawings on the sidewalk or in the garden, allowing them to experience fantastical adventures." There is fun and fair, laughter and excitement altogether.

But imagine this. God has painted a picture of our surroundings and us, giving life to the painting. Then he decides he has had enough of us. He erases one character. Then he erases another and another and so on and so forth. That is how we are fairing here at his mercy. But unaware of this, we think we own the world and everything on the face of the earth.

This is what Thanos did too, in the movie "Avengers: Endgame", "erasing" people by using his Infinity Gauntlet to "Snap," wiping out half of all life in the universe, and what the Void does in the "New Avengers" "obliterating people from the streets of New York with a flick of his hand, turning them into shadows."

My daughter was excited about the game "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" and bought the PC version of it. Here, too, we see that the Paintress, painting death, year by year, erases people. It is frightening to know when our time is coming up. We either prepare for that day by living life to the fullest or live with caution and fear.

Having played the game for some two hours last night, my daughter recorded it and has uploaded it as Part 1 of her playthrough of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on her YouTube channel. She has just entered her room to continue with the remaining game.
