We received news of Supramania Swami's demise a day after he passed away on 7 February 2007. The following Saturday, 10 February 2007, as I sat with Nadi Nool Aasan Ramesh to listen to the Nadi, Agathiyar surprises me when he speaks about Supramania Swami going into samadhi at Thiruvannamalai. He tells me that I had picked a responsible Guru. He assures me that Supramania Swami has been laid to rest at an auspicious place, relieving me of my sadness that Swami's last wish was not adhered to. When I was with Swami at his kudil, he indicated his wish to go into samadhi at his kudil. But on the day of his demise, another swami whom Supramania Swami's son Ramajayam was serving as a driver sent 20 of his disciples to undertake the task of placing Supramania Swami in his samadhi along the Girivalam path. I was sad that the subsequent events after his demise happened against his wish. But Agathiyar assured me that it was all done perfectly right. I realized then that whatever even the Gurus might prefer, Erai would have another agenda for them. Supramania Swami told me that he would go into samadhi when he was 76 years of age. To our amazement he had written the date of his samadhi much earlier in his diary which came to light after his passing away.

Agathiyar then passes the responsibility of further nurturing me to Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal. Agathiyar extols the greatness and benefits of Puja and prayers. He mentions his extreme happiness with the kuttu pratanai or group prayers conducted at Agathiyar Vanam.
