AGATHIYAR OUR CAPED SUPERHERO

I am truly blessed to come to the path of the Siddhas and have them around with me and my family. If I had a calling to read my Nadi in 2002 and took up the worship of the Siddhas immediately, my family came after Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal of Kallar ashram whom I met in 2005 asked that I bring the family too into the worship. Since then we have worshipped the Siddhas and they have been with us through both good and trying times. My family has seen a fair share of pain as fate dealt them a blow. But the Siddhas were there to cushion its effects.

When I was having pain akin to that of sciatica but resulting from activation of the Muladhara chakra, Agathiyar calmed me saying that he knew I could not withstand pain, hence he had cushioned the intensity of the pain. When my wife and I were unsure whether to pursue her surgery, Agathiyar described the entire process to us exactly as how the doctors had described it and gave us assurance that he would be with her throughout the operation. Again when we were unsure if we should heed the doctor's advice to remove her gall bladder, Agathiyar told us it was fine to do so. When my younger daughter came down with dengue fever Agathiyar came with Thirumular to spike up her platelet level. When my older daughter was feeling down and low in spirit after breaking her tibia and fibula bones in her leg, Agathiyar assured her he was with her, and saw through the whole ordeal, mending and healing it naturally. Agathiyar was always present to save the day. He was our caped superhero.

When my older daughter had an open fracture of her right leg after a road accident many years ago, the doctor at the emergency room suggested leaving it to nature to do the healing as she was only twenty then. Listening to our plea that she should return as soon as possible to complete her internship, he then suggested placing an external fixator that should have her back on her feet within weeks. But another senior doctor on his rounds at the wards called both me and my wife and asked us to reconsider our request. He agreed with the previous doctor's original suggestion to leave it to nature to do the healing. We heeded their advice. But as after four months there was no new cell growth, the doctor who saw her then told us that he had no choice but to place a titanium plate. But amazingly, he also suggested another alternative that can be performed under local anesthetic. It was called Autologous Conditioned Plasma (ACP) injections which "provides an efficient concentration of platelets and growth factors from platelet-rich plasma for use at the patient’s point of care." (Source:https://www.colliersportsmedicine.com). We opted for it. We were overjoyed to see new cell growth within days. She was saved from the ordeal of an operation to place a titanium plate.

My wife who was initially diagnosed as having gastric and was treated for it at clinics in the vicinity each time the pain came on, eventually, was told by a doctor who was doing locum at a clinic in her hometown of the possibility that it could be gall bladder stones that was causing her pain. The doctor who was in the surgical department at a nearby hospital, suspected right. It turned out to be true after further tests were conducted at a hospital back home in the city. Agathiyar gave the go-ahead in the Nadi reading that was read over the telephone as I waited anxiously outside the hospital. When my wife was waiting to be brought to another hospital specializing in this procedure over a weekend, the waiting which could easily take some 10 days according to those already waiting in line, was cut short to three days by the timely intervention of a senior doctor. She was operated on and her gall bladder was removed.

When my younger daughter was diagnosed as having retina detachment in a private eye care center, the doctor immediately referred us to the specialists in a government hospital. She was attended to the same day where her good eye was lasered immediately as a precaution and the other was operated on within days.

When she came down with dengue, Agathiyar conveyed a message to us in a Nadi reading that Surendran was having in Chennai telling us that both he and Tirumular were at her bedside and had increased the platelet count. She was warded for a night and discharged the next day.

When I came down with the dengue fever a year later, I had to be warded 4 days since I had fallen several times. The doctors wanted to make sure that I did not succumb to any head injuries or concussions.

When I had my eye checked too after my daughter went through the operation, I was told that I had cataracts in both my eyes. This came as a surprise as I had good vision though I wore glasses. Contemplating whether I should wait a while as it was no emergency compared to that of my daughter, Agathiyar drove me to have it done and over at the private clinic, by giving me irritation and grittiness in both my eyes that was cause for concern. The irritation and grittiness surprisingly went away after I had the first eye done.

We saw Agathiyar's hands in all of these miracles. Now I understand why Tavayogi, brushing away troubles, law suites, sabotage, and dangers was firm in his stand saying that Agathiyar shall take care. He instilled the same in us, to have faith in him and he shall care for us.
