ATMA

We are and have been in existence. Our apparent "existence" with a form, substance, name and identity though seems real is all a play of the Tatvas. The journey of returning home is only true in the context of this illusory world as all journeys and travels are. We as the Atma are forever present. We neither went places. So, when I asked if his coming and the rest of the Siddhas too were an illusion, Agathiyar hesitated for a moment fearing that his answer would confuse us, and as I waited, answered "Yes". Everything sensed, seen, heard, spoken, touched, tasted in this world is an illusion. The true Self is always in a state of bliss Sat Chit Ananda, pure existence, consciousness and bliss. It stands aloft from the transitional world and its happenings. But for the purpose of interaction, it assumes forms and identities and joins the crowd of holiday makers. We go on adding logic and reason to justify all these acts. Whatever manifested becomes duality. When the play ends what remains but an empty stage.

This is the reason Agathiyar says he only sees and speaks with our Atma. Now I understand why the very first thing Tavayogi told me, breaking me and my hold, was that I was living in Maya. He wanted me to see through it and come out of it. The next thing he said was to come to Gnana, the dawn of this truth and wisdom. Finally Agathiyar and Lord Shiva throwing the existing order, belief and faith, our understanding and acceptance into chaos had Indran churned the sea and brought forth the ambrosia that is Gnanam to see through it and see it all as Maya. I guess we have finally arrived at this realization and are back being one with the One.

Since all we see, hear, touch, speak and smell, and all that is perceived is the art, skill and master craftsmanship of Maya do not get attached to them. Similarly, since all that we bring forth in this world too eventually is consumed by Maya do not get attached to them. Live as a drop of water on the Lotus leaf. Create but be detached. Experience but be detached.
