Why is Agathiyar helping us out? He can simply ignore us? We do not deserve to be in his good books. Yet he is tirelessly trying his best to bring us to his state. Pon Govindasamy reveals to us the Divine's plan in his book "Vallalaarum Brahma Gnana Sangamum", Bharath Book Bureau, Chennai. He states that it is the mission of the Divine to save the souls that are riddled, locked, and chained by Aanavam, Kanmam, and Maayai and bring them back to his state of purity.
கட்டுப்பட்ட உயிர்களை தளை நீக்கி (ஆணவம், கன்மம், மாயை), தன்னைப்போல் அகண்டாகார பரிபூரண வஸ்துவாக மாற்றுவதே ஈஸ்வரனின் சங்கல்பம் ஆகும்.
God comes in human form through a Piralayaakalar and guides the souls tied down to these three Malams to achieve the Sakalar state. A Piralayaakalar has been there before us. He has dropped Maayai but still retains the other two Malams, Kanmam and Aanavam. They are said to be the Rishis. God comes as Shiva to these Piralayaakalar. They in turn teach and educate us making us Sakalar. Then we have the Maha Rishis who had defeated Kanmam too but were restrained by Aanavam. They are called Vignanakalar. God comes within to teach them. When the distinction between them and God disappears, the Aanavam drops on its own accord, and they become one with God. When we realize that there is no division or separateness between us and God, the last of the Malam, Aanavam is dissolved and we see our being as the Buddha, the Light, one with Param or God (not the personal form of God).
The Gurbani - Sri Guru Granth Sahib, SGGS 1276 states that "Having eradicated Maya from within, by the Divine Grace, the mortal becomes established once again in the Divine Consciousness within." "Maya comes to serve them." (The Gurbani - Sri Guru Granth Sahib, SGGS 1324).
This is how the Gods deal with the cards and play their game. We are caught in their Lila until a guru in the physical form, a Siddha or one's own Atma comes to tear the veils down and show us the truth.
