Each person's Gnanam is different.
Vallal (Ramalinga Adigal) (Gnanam) is different.
Seshadri (Swamigal) (Gnanam) is different.
(Bhagawan) Ramana Rishi (Gnanam) is different.
Do you understand?
If all (Gnanam) is one, it would bore man.
If even the taste of the foods we eat varies...
Would Gnanam be one?
Even when Agathiyar comes to start us on a practice, he takes a Nadi reading on the wrists of our palms first before following up. He gets us to set our breath right before the start of the practice. It is vital that the state of the individual and his composure and composite that is the tattvas are studied first before embarking. The time and state of the individual play a determining part. No practice is dished out and given to the masses in large assemblies. It has to be one-to-one. It does not end with passing on the practice and leaving them on their own. Either they report to the guru or the guru comes to monitor them. There has to be a healthy and lasting relationship between the disciple and the guru. This bond thrives through births as I found out in the past week.
You have been in touch with me for crores and crores of births.
When devotees step up before Agathiyar they ask from the most trivial things to things that we do not have any idea what we are getting into. Some keep switching the goalpost. Gnanam which I asked for taking a cue from Tavayogi, Mukthi, and Siddhi are common askings. When I asked for it back then, Agathiyar had told me that Gnanam was, in fact, a journey within each chakra, experiencing the energies and arriving at the Sahasrara where it shall dawn on us. He explained the latter two and what we were asking for or getting into or rather bargaining for during the Satsang over the past week.
On Mukthi,
When the very first act that initiated and started the ball rolling or the cycle of birth as a result of karma is exhausted that is Mukthi. (Admin: Hence it is not going to be easy breaking the cycle for in order to attain Mukthi one has to go back in time sieving through the numerous past births, exhausting the karma done before arriving at the very first birth that initiated the cycle).
Ramalinga Adigal defines both Siddhi and Mukthi in his ThiruArutpa which only he can explain further.
முத்தி என்பது முன்னுறு சாதனம், சித்தி என்பது நிலை சேர்ந்த அனுபவம்.
I can come as Light before you.
Do you have the strength to see me in this form?
Can your eyes withstand this intensity?
Can you put in the hours of austerities (or Tavam)?
I can come as a flame.
But are you ready for it?
When there was much hue and cry in social media about Ramalinga Adigal's arrival that eventually died down, Agathiyar explains to us the truth of the matter.
When you attain the Suddha Degam, (or Pure body, rid of impurities of body and mind) Vallal (Ramalinga Adigal) will come into you. Vallal will not take another physical form. He will come within anyone prepared and ready.
We are reminded of Ramalinga Adigal's final sermon where he tells us that he would henceforth be in all of us.
Take your pick in this vast ocean and sail it. Take a route in this vast landscape and travel it. If you were to sit and decide forever, it would take forever to reach the other shore or cross the mountain. Decide now and make the move today.
For those who came, saw but moved on here is an invitation to return to AVM to continue the journey from where you left. It is never too late to pursue it.
For those who happen to come by this blog, continue reading for I have learned a lot in these pages too.
It is wonderful, right, to think that we are in touch through these writings though we never met before. I have not seen you and neither have you seen me. We do not know what we each look like or maybe are very much alike. I do not know your liking and neither do you know mine. But we are connected through this wonderful platform and journeying together. Thank you all for the marvelous following that the week's ratings have come to show.
