APPROACHING JOURNEY'S END

The Siddhas introduce us to or rather help us connect to the Prapanjam. Agathiyar in telling us that he was the Prapanjam and that the Prapanjam was in him, had Ramalinga Adigal connect us to it by bringing its force within us initially and leaving us to connect with it further. In connecting with it we become a part of it, feeling it, seeing it, hearing it, smelling and tasting it with our senses. We feel the rainfalls, the showering of plants and libation to statues as taking a bath or shower. We feel the food that we take and ingest feeding, providing and satisfying, every atom in us and every being out there. We feel the music or noise for the matter bring extreme joy and bliss shaking our very core and bringing on tears or irritate us in the latter, moved by the vibration it produces. We feel the love, anger, fear and emotions in others and begin to feel them too. We see the world around us literally in a different light as if the floodlights are on even in bright daylight. We smell the breeze, the rain showers, the smell of earth, the aroma in the air, etc bringing us to an elated state of consciousness.

With the body made of earth and water as a vehicle and tool, and the breath as a vehicle carrying Prana from all around us, adding on to that which comes from a dip in the stream or river, a shower, the rain, the sun, and the food, we move towards developing the inner heat or Agni Jwalai using this breath and eventually rising to the state of Tava Kanal or fire of austerity in us to become a part of the space or ether or Shivam hence completing the journey. The breath acts on the fire within us as a blacksmith's bellow blowing air adding on to the heat of Tava Kanal, bringing the small spark of fire Agni Jwalai to burn majestically within. This Agni Jwalai brings us eventually to the state of Sivam or space or emptiness or void or Vethavezhi. Agathiyar in explaining this process has Ramalinga Adigal come by and pass on this initial heat and have us work on it further.
